Thanking Dainik Vishwamitra for publishing this episode of TuriyaTalks season 6 in their esteemed daily.The episode brought forth Miss Lily Pitchler who is a Romanian thinker .She discussed about the topic “How Christmas is Celebrated in Different Parts of the World”, with Sandhya Sutodia, CO-founder, Turiya Communications LLP.

Miss Pitchler said that though Christmas marks the birth of Jesus Christ into the world, it has a very symbolic meaning towards the spiritual life. In her view, Christmas is celebrated in similar fashion all over the globe. Speaking of her own celebrations, Miss Pitchler said that she likes to celebrate Christmas in a very simple and quiet way by staring at the Christmas lights and just remembering her close family and friends.

Miss Pitchler is apprehensive that in our modern world today we have lost touch with the meaning of Christmas as we always want to be on the receiving end. We should understand the pleasure of giving. She also shared an interesting story about Christmas. In the end she read out a lovely poem about hope and joy and also added that Christmas should become a more inclusive affair for the betterment of the world .

The guest of the 11th episode of TuriyaTalks, Season 5 was Dr. Charu Dutt Arora, a Consultant - Infectious Diseases, Dept. of Internal Medicine, Mayom Hospital, Gurgaon & Director of the Rising Wizards, accompanied by the host Akil Sukumar of Turiya Communications. The session was held on 26th September on the topic ‘ Health and Fashion During a Pandemic.’

Our guest is a doctor by profession but his love for art, craft, styling and glamour since childhood attracted him towards fashion and thus he came up with the Rising Wizards. It’s a platform where young talents get a chance to showcase their talents in various fields. Dr. Charu shared the hardships faced by him during his journey of medicine to fashion.

He believes that it’s very important to educate the people about the disease. "The biggest precaution to take is to save ourselves, before saving others". The last eight months had been very challenging as a doctor. Dr. Charu added that one cannot rely on vaccines, rather it’s we the people who have to fight the disease and take proper precautions.

"Fashion and Entertainment industry is going through a very tough time", he claimed. He is an ardent follower of the renowned designers. Both health and fashion goes together, he added. Though pandemic has affected fashion industry in great terms but because of the presence of virtual platforms, these indutries managed to stay connected to people and survive.

He concluded the session by saying, "Covid era is the new era and people have to accept this"
