Yet another football book, this time it’s Johan Cruyff’s autobiography. I’m a little obsessed with Cruyff and how he sees the game, so reading about his life and his views of the game from his perspective was incredibly interesting.

7) Data Analytics in Football

A great book if you want a better understanding of modern performance analysis and the use of algorithms with parts written by Hansi Flick, Ralph Ragnick and a couple of other coaches.

8) Hiroshima - John Hersey

A journalistic account of what happened in Hiroshima after the first atom bomb. It was surprisingly moving and I have no shame in admitting I cried while reading the final chapter where he talked to the survivors 40 years after the incident.

9) The Handmaid’s Tale - Margaret Atwood

It was recommended to me by a friend and I was pleasantly surprised by it especially because I wasn’t expecting it to be very good despite all the reviews.

10) Catch-22

I found the book lying around in my mother’s room, completely brand new even with the the plastic wrap around it and started reading. Now that I think about it, it might have been for someone else and I shouldn’t have just taken it, I put it back after I finished reading though.
