How to Prioritize Yourself
(in other words, how to put yourself 1st)
1. Before making a decision, ask yourself, β€œIs this beneficial for me?”
2. Second ask yourself, β€œDo I want to do this? If so why?” Make sure that whatever you do is serving your best interests.
3. Always take care of your needs. Treat yourself like you would your child. Maintain your basic hygiene. Make sure you've eaten and drank water. Keep up with your skin care. Give yourself compliments and support your dreams. Be financially stable and provide security for yourself. Give yourself everything you desire.
4. Don’t rush or let others push you into doing something you don’t want to.
5. Put your standards on the pedestal. Form your own judgement about things and don’t be persuaded easily.
6. Do what you set your mind to regardless of opposition.
7. Always be in tune with what you desire and never compromise your standards.
8. Fill your own cup first. Invest in yourself.
9. Set clear boundaries and start saying no when you mean it.
10. Release all shame surrounding your self prioritization. Understand, people won’t care about your wellbeing. You have to be the one looking out for you.
11. Gate-keep yourself from those undeserving of your love and energy.
12. Don't tell all your business. Move in silence and cherish your privacy.
13. Stay self-sufficient.
14. Do the things YOU enjoy. Have your favorite cup of coffee. Eat your favorite snack. Watch your favorite show. Do tarot readings. Read occult books. Wear makeup. Dress up. Don't shrink your beliefs, lifestyle or presence just because someone else disagrees with it.
15. Ignore unsolicited advice.
16. Stop trying to prove your worth and just be. You are already enough as you are. You habe nothing further to prove.

Tips for writing plot twists
1. Start with a false sense of security
β€’ The best plot twists work because the audience feels confident they know what’s coming.
β€’ How? Lay down a trail of clues that mislead without outright lying. Create a sense of inevitability.
β€’ Example: A detective follows all the evidence to one suspect, only for the real criminal to be someone they completely overlooked.
2. Plant the seeds early
β€’ A plot twist is most satisfying when it feels inevitable in hindsight. Subtly sprinkle clues throughout the narrative.
β€’ How? Use small, seemingly insignificant details that take on new meaning after the reveal.
β€’ Example: A side character is always conveniently absent during key eventsβ€”later revealed to be orchestrating everything.
3. Subvert expectations without betraying logic
β€’ A twist should surprise readers, but it must feel plausible within the story’s framework.
β€’ How? Flip assumptions in a way that feels earned. Avoid twists that rely on coincidences or break the rules of your world.
β€’ Example: A character who appears harmless and incompetent is revealed as the mastermind, with subtle foreshadowing tying everything together.
4. Exploit emotional investment
β€’ Twists land harder when they involve characters the audience deeply cares about. Use relationships and personal stakes to heighten the impact.
β€’ How? Create twists that change how readers perceive the characters they thought they knew.
β€’ Example: The protagonist’s mentor is revealed to be the antagonist, making the betrayal personal and devastating.
5. Use red herrings strategically
β€’ Mislead readers by planting false clues that draw attention away from the real twist.
β€’ How? Make the red herrings believable but not overly obvious. They should enhance, not distract from, the story.
β€’ Example: A mysterious object everyone believes is cursed turns out to be completely irrelevant, shifting focus from the true danger.
6. Timing is everything
β€’ Reveal the twist at the moment it has the most dramatic or emotional weight. Too early, and it loses impact. Too late, and it feels rushed.
β€’ How? Build tension to a breaking point before the twist shatters expectations.
β€’ Example: A twist that flips the climaxβ€”when the hero thinks they’ve won, they realize they’ve fallen into the villain’s trap.
7. Allow for multiple interpretations
β€’ A great twist makes readers rethink the entire story, encouraging them to revisit earlier scenes with new understanding.
β€’ How? Design the twist so that the story works both before and after the reveal.
β€’ Example: A character’s cryptic dialogue is recontextualized after the twist, revealing their hidden motives.
8. Pair the twist with consequences
β€’ A twist shouldn’t just shockβ€”it should change the trajectory of the story. Make it matter.
β€’ How? Show how the twist raises the stakes or deepens the conflict, forcing the characters to adapt.
β€’ Example: After discovering the villain is their ally, the protagonist must choose between loyalty and justice.
9. Keep the reader guessing
β€’ A single twist is good, but layered twists create an unforgettable story. Just don’t overdo it.
β€’ How? Build twists that complement each other rather than competing for attention.
β€’ Example: A twist reveals the villain’s plan, followed by a second twist that the hero anticipated it and set a counter-trap.
10. Test the twist
β€’ Before finalizing your twist, ensure it holds up under scrutiny. Does it fit the story’s logic? Does it enhance the narrative?
β€’ How? Ask yourself if the twist creates a moment of genuine surprise while respecting your audience’s intelligence.
β€’ Example: A shocking but clever reveal that leaves readers satisfied rather than feeling tricked.
Follow for more!

How i got into the void state.
So, i was scrolling through tumblr, and usually, my feed is all about shifting. Yesterday, it was all about the void state. I've heard about the void state before, but i never intended to go there. Until yesterday, i was like "sure why not?". So how i did that. Basically, i didn't put any pressure on myself. I was just chill about it and kept affirming that i am already in the void state. I usually meditate, this time tho i was visualizing waking up in the void in the middle of a meditation. Even when a doubtful thought came up, i was just like, "wdym? I'm already in the void?" Before sleep i listened to this subliminal.
Before going to bed.
I laid down in my bed, told myself "alright. I'll go into the void." I started taking deep, relaxing breaths. I was focusing on each of my body parts. First, i tensed up my head, inhaled, exhaled, and relaxed. That's what i did with each part until i was completely relaxed. I did move and just took a deep breath. i wasn't focusing too much. I just moved once. I kept affirming,
"i am in the void state."
"I am pure consciousness."
"I feel nothing nor hear anything."
I was about to give up, but then, yet again, i said to myself I'm already there." Then i was. It happened so fast. Some people feel symptoms before they got there, but i didn't. It was so cool. I didn't feel my body, nor did I hear anything, absolutely nothing. Then i don't know why, but then i said, "I'm still in my room, tho?" And then i went back. I just straightened up and was like, oh? I know that i can get into the void state anytime i want now and to my desired reality. If i can do it too, so can you.
Later note:
I've later realized i entered the void with SATS. I was kind of uncomfortable and kinda struggled to sleep. I was feeling drowsy, tho. Which means i was in the sats, where your mind is open to suggestions.
Happy shifting.

What is their relationship with their parents?
What is their favorite meal?
How do they identify?
What's their style?
Are they proud of themselves?
Are they patient or impatient?
Do they have siblings, and what's their relationship with them?
What are their standards?
Have they ever been in love?
When was the last time they felt loved?
Have they gotten their heart broken?
Do they know who they are?
What are their preferences?
What do they want?
What are their goals?
What would they do if they failed?
What would they save in a fire?
What's one childhood item they still love?

Jelli’s Saving Tips!
(From a low spending player)
‼️Disclaimer: This is just what I do. I’m not saying it’s the best way, but the way that works best for me!
My credentials are I’m a broke college student who’s been playing since Jan. 2024 and I haven’t missed a Xav card since the Wander in Wonder quad (which I intentionally skipped).
Tumblr media
Free Tips:
Tip #1:
Play every day.
This one feels self explanatory, but some people don’t see the value in it. Get into a routine and do those dailies! Every 3 days is one limited wish and these stack up.
Tip #2:
Play Abyssal Chaos and Hunter Contest. Even if you’ve maxed out Abyssal Chaos’ rewards there are still achievements to be gained by playing. You aren’t really expected to max out hunters contest so play to get as many gems as you can manage!
You need to be playing these every single cycle.
Tip #3:
Play every SINGLE event. Each event gives out resources of some kind and it is imperative that you play each of them. I don’t really care for Caleb, but did I play his birthday event? Yes I did. And the best part of playing each event…
They give out FREE WISHES! Use those free wishes to lower your pity!
Additionally: Do NOT use your diamonds to lower your pity. You only wish on a banner using your own gems when you want that memory.
Tip #4:
Do NOT use gems for anything BUT wishes. Not kitty cards. Not buying levels on the promise. Not poses. Not stamina. Not for ANYTHING.
And for the love of god do NOT use them on Empyrean wishes. You get these so easily for FREE throughout the game and once you play long enough you’ll have all the memories you want without it costing anything.
Spending Tips:
Tip #1:
Buy the Aurum Pass every month. It’s $5. This is the BEST source of gems in the game. It does require you to log in every for the full rewards. This also opens up the opportunity to by their daily gem packs for .50 or 1.00. (I get by without them but they are a great plus.)
Tip #2:
Buy the promise. It’s $10 or $15. I only ever buy the promise when Xavier’s on it. You get 10 limited wishes (plus all the other resources) I don’t do it often but I’m not opposed to it.
Tip #3:
I do this very rarely but, buy the cheap packs to lower pity. A little goes a long way. $3 across multiple banners makes a difference.
Finally:
This is the most important thing. YOU HAVE TO SKIP BANNERS. The best advice I can give is pick a main LI and STICK with him!
YOU CANNOT wish on every banner and expect a good outcome. You will have scattered memories throughout the love interests and lore will be hard to collect.
It is not the worst to skip. The memories will be on YouTube soon enough.
I main Xavier, Sylus is my side hoe, and I fangirl over Rafayel due to my best friend’s brainwashing. Xavier is my priority. If I get his cards I’m willing to stop pulling.
Extra Tip: Make friends! Make friends who play lads and/or make your friends play lads. I know I don’t have to pull for Rafayel’s myth because my best friend mains him. I get to see it for free!
For example, my best friends and I collectively got all the catch 22 memories and did a show and tell.

Struggling to write?
Here's a few things that might help (they grow crazier as you read) :-
Change your environment- don't always sit at the same place. keep on moving to different locations even if it's in your home.
Set small goals - You don't have to write a thousand words a day. Start small. With coming up with quotes, dynamic lines or just small paragraphs, it'll help you get in the habit.
Avoid sleeping - if you're a freak and want to write like a maniac, don't sleep until you start hallucinating. That's when you'll get the craziest of ideas.
Consume caffeine- If you want to write like it's your last day on earth, all you have to do is consume the amount of caffeine that will leave you on the verge of madness.
Have a dense argument - Now, I'm not trying to ruin your relationships but a havoc like argument will leave you with enough motivation to write like hell ( once you're done crying of course) (also works if you want to study) (author proven)
Throw yourself into a garbage can - That will make you realize what a waste you are without writing + it will give you a new perspective, a way of thinking differently, a way of thinking from the perspective of mouse in a dumpster.
Run away from your house- (hey it's just for the day and you have to be back before your curfew) all you need is to not tell anyone where your going, switch off your phone and just carry a bindle and act like you're homeless - Boom new perspective + new motivation to write.
If you, my dear reader, have any ways in your mind that help in writing better, drop those in the comments.
Sincerely, Your sleep deprived author who's preparing for an entrance exam.
Kisses,
Moon.
