WEEK 7 & 8

September 23 & October 5, 2024

On September 23, our instructor didn't have a class. Instead, he gave us some work to do and a final lecture for the midterm and some tasks for our project. He also reminded us to submit our consultation forms.

On October 5, we had our Quiz 2 Part 1 and it was conducted online. I missed the quiz deadline because of a bad connection with the USTeP platform. I tried to log in several times, but the site kept freezing or loading slowly, and eventually, I couldn’t access the quiz in time. It was really frustrating, especially since I had prepared for it and was ready to give it my best.

To my relief, our instructor was understanding about the connection issues with USTeP. He decided to give us another chance by extending the deadline until October 6, which was a huge relief. Knowing that he was willing to accommodate this setback made me appreciate how flexible and fair he was with students.

With the extra time, I was able to log in later and take the quiz without rushing. Having the chance to complete it properly was a big relief, and it showed me how even a small extension can help when problems come up. It reminded me that technology can sometimes be stressful, but with a little understanding, things can still work out.

Fat Projects Acquisition Corp Extends Deadline for Business Combination with Avanseus Holdings

Fat Projects Acquisition Corporation announced today its intention to extend the deadline for completing its initial business combination with Avanseus Holdings Pte. Ltd. The deadline will be extended from June 15, 2023, to July 15, 2023, with a deposit of $24,279.65 into its Trust Account. This extension marks the third of up to nine 1-month extensions authorized under an amendment to its Amended and Restated Memorandum and Articles of Association. The extension provides Fat Projects Acquisition Corp with additional time to finalize the Business Combination Agreement. The agreement, initially signed on August 26, 2022, outlines a series of transactions in which Avanseus shareholders will exchange their Avanseus shares for newly issued Fat Projects Acquisition Corp Class A Ordinary Shares. This exchange will result in Avanseus becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Fat Projects Acquisition Corp, which will subsequently change its corporate name to "Avanseus Holdings Corporation" ("New Avanseus"). The extension aims to grant Fat Projects Acquisition Corp and Avanseus more time to complete the Business Combination.
