Nunes Bombshell—Closing in on the Beast, Establishment Screams Like Stuck Pigs
In addition to the politicization of the FBI and other three letter agencies via promoting the Steele Dossier, another story even closer to the heart of the bogus claims of Russian meddling that sought to effect the 2016 election outcome is the supposed hack of the Democratic National Committee. LaRouchePAC and its sister publication Executive Intelligence Review (EIR) have been all over the fraudulent basis for the GRU/FSB 'Fancy' and 'Cozy' Bears hacker thefts from the DNC, and the principal Atlantic Council and Fusion GPS linked cyber security firm behind it, Crowdstrike. As the Russian Analyst noticed in his introductions to Harley Schlanger's posts here, a recent Associated Press story designed to bolster the DNC hacking case failed to mention Crowdstrike by name at all. This diversion of public if not Congressional scrutiny away from Crowdstrike to another cyber security firm, Secureworks, does not seem accidental. The FBI under Comey did not bother to subpoena and physically access to the supposedly Russian-hacked servers. and members of Congress as well as President Trump have frequently asked the critical question of why.
As the Russian Analyst has also pointed out here, former British signals intelligence (GCHQ) employee Matt Tait, who tweets under the handle @PwnAlltheThings, has been a highly public but largely ignored linkage between the U.K. 'ex' spooks community and the Comey propagandists led by Benjamin Wittes at Lawfare. Not surprisingly, on Twitter Mr. Tait has downplayed the significance of the dossier and the overt, shameless meddling by 'former' British spies and one ex-UK Ambassador to Russia it represents in an American election. On the positive side, pseudonymous U.K. based cyber researcher Adam Carter has highlighted the timeline of the supposed hack and emails release, as well as the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) report insisting the data dump was an inside job.  So without further ado, we present the following stories from LaRouchePAC.com and LaRouchePub.com. -- JWS
The House Intelligence Committee has given the FBI and Department of Justice until January 3, 2018 to produce their files on Christopher Steele and the use of his dirty British intelligence authored dossier in the Russiagate hoax against President Trump. It is believed that these documents will not only implicate top officials of the FBI and DOJ in a British instigated conspiracy against Donald Trump. They will lead to full exposure of Barack Obama and all of his intelligence chiefs as part of this conspiracy.
As the House Intelligence Committee closes in, the screams and whines of the U.S. political establishment have reached a fevered pitch. Saying that Robert Mueller and the FBI are corrupt is obstruction of justice! They rant. The last few days news feeds from the Resist! Insurrection crowd included Clinton and Washington D.C. superlawyer David Kendall imploring, “Leave Robert Mueller alone” and Obama CIA chief John Brennan and fired FBI Director James Comey tweeting in support of compromised “friends’ at the FBI and Department of Justice. Both Brennan and Obama’s former DNI James Clapper have been wildly claiming and waving their hands to anyone who will pay attention that Vladimir Putin is somehow “playing” Donald Trump.
In his December 28th letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, House Intelligence Chair Devin Nunes revealed who is actually obstructing justice. According to Nunes, the FBI and Justice Department played a three card monte game with documents concerning the use and payment for the dodgy British Intelligence dossier requested by subpoena from the FBI by the House last August. In response to the August subpoena, DOJ flatly denied that any basic FBI investigatory documents, such as FD-302 interview summaries regarding the Steele dossier existed. Then, in early December, shortly before Nunes was to meet with Rosenstein, numerous FD-302s were discovered to exist. According to Nunes’ letter,“As it turns out, not only did documents exist that were directly responsive to the Committee’s subpoenas, but they involved senior DOJ and FBI officials who were swiftly reassigned when their roles in matters under the Committee’s investigation were brought to light.”In addition, the Justice Department has refused to produce any FBI documents concerning meetings between FBI officials and FBI confidential human sources concerning the Steele dossier. The House Committee is now challenging that refusal.
Nunes also demands interview dates for former DOJ Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr (who held unauthorized meetings with Christopher Steele and whose wife worked for Steele’s U.S. business partner, Fusion GPS, on the Steele Trump/Russia project), FBI lovebirds, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page (both deeply involved in the dodgy dossier as resistance fighters against Trump), former FBI attorney and James Comey confidante James Baker, and FBI attorney Sally Moyer and Director for Congressional Affairs Greg Brewer. It would seem that all of these people are deeply implicated in the documents which the FBI explicitly denied even existed.
Finally, Nunes reveals that the FBI has not produced details of an April 2017 meeting between DOJ/FBI personnel and the news media. The meeting involved Andrew Weissman, Robert Mueller’s ethically compromised lead prosecutor in the witch hunt against Donald Trump. Nunes’ letter demands these details and the remaining text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. Previously released text messages between the married No. 2 in FBI counterintelligence and his FBI mistress alluded to an “insurance plan” to stop Trump believed by most to be the dirty British fabricated Steele dossier.

PRESS RELEASE
VIPS Source: Congress Should Be Investigating CrowdStrike Firm
Dec. 29, 2017 (EIRNS)—Computer security expert Adam Carter of DisobedientMedia, who was a source for the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) in their memos debunking the DNC’s Russian-hacking claims, has published a call on Congressional intelligence committees to investigate CrowdStrike. CrowdStrike is a California-based computer security firm whose founder is Ukrainian Dmitri Alperovitch of the Atlantic Council. It alone examined the DNC’s computers—the FBI was denied access to them—and thus it was the ultimate source of the "Russian hacking" story.
Carter has again succeeded in examining time sequences of computer events, as he did in connection with the demonstration that the DNC e-mails were not hacked by Russians, but downloaded internally and leaked. He has now shown that CrowdStrike had installed its "Falcon" anti-malware, anti-hacking product on the DNC’s computer system, and been paid for it, on or before May 11, 2016; but that DNC emails were taken through at least May 25. And moreover, that Alperovitch told the Washington Post on June 14, that he and other CrowdStrike personnel had been working at the DNC, "removing hackers," on the weekend of June 10-12. That is when Julian Assange first implied Wikileaks’ possession of e-mails concerning Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Thus minimally, by its own testimony, CrowdStrike’s anti-hacking security product failed to protect the computers from hacking, if one believes hacking took place.
More importantly, however, Carter presents the evidence that the malware which was claimed to have hacked the emails, was placed ("compiled") on the DNC computers during the five days in May when CrowdStrike was working on them. So either the Russians merely happened to start hacking the DNC just when CrowdStrike was there to prevent hacking, and it was unable to stop the hacking; or, CrowdStrike itself placed the "Russian-signature" malware on the computer system.
Carter has additional evidence against the former hypothesis: The IP server address "identified with" the so-called Fancy Bear Russian hacking group—marks of which address were found in the malware—had actually been suspended/disabled in May 2015 by an Internet policing network called CrookServers. So that "footprint" which immediately was given out as evidence of Fancy Bear’s dirty work at the DNC, was the footprint of a server which could not have been involved in any actual hacking in May 2016.
Carter concludes by asking Congress to investigate CrowdStrike’s 5 days in May. "I can’t help but continue questioning CrowdStrike’s discoveries—and continue wishing intelligence committees in both houses would start to do so too!"
