GEM-ENCRUSTED MALACHITE AND MOTHER-OF-PEARL CHESS SET By Konstantin Libman
Designed by Konstantin Libman and Ivanna Harchenko Silversmith: Denis Vedernikov The board comprised of intarsia squares of malachite and mother-of-pearl. The chess pieces carved of malachite and white agate, mounted with hand-fabricated 0.925 silver, weighing approximately 1,946 grams. The pieces are accented with emeralds, weighing approximately 14.23 carats, and peridots, weighing altogether 8.48 carats, as well as black and white cultured pearls. Raised on four silver feet designed in the form of pine cones. Chess board measures 12 x 12 x 1 1/4 in

ACTU DE LA SEMAINE 
C'est lundi ! L'occasion de passer en revue l'actualité de la semaine...
- Demain soir, Alexandre Knyazev et Boris Berezovky se retrouveront pour un récital à Istanbul dans un programme Strauss/ Chostakovitch/ Rachmaninov au Sanat Concert Hall. Les deux complices de longue date se produiront ensuite en France au Festival de la Grange de Meslay,  le vendredi 21 juin.
- Andrei Korobeinikov interprétera le célèbre Concerto pour piano n°2 de Tchaikovsky, avec le Sinfonia Varsovia, sous la baguette d’Alexander Vedernikov. Il sera ensuite au festival "Lavaux Classic", le 23 juin, pour le concert de clôture du festival.
- Dimanche 23 juin, Alexandre Kniazev et Vadim Repin seront en quintet aux côtés de Nikita Boriso-Glebsky, Maxim Rysanov et Denis Kozhukhin dans un programme Brahms/Dvorak, à la Mozart Saal de Vienne.
- Côté danse, vendredi, samedi et dimanche, la Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company sera au Théâtre de Paris dans le cadre des Paris de la Danse. Rami Be'er présentera sa nouvelle création, Asylum, qui traite du sort des réfugiés et de l'immigration.

The chess pieces carved of Australia Black Nephrite and African white Kacholong opal, mounted with hand-fabricated 0.925 silver, weighing approximately 1,946 grams. The pieces are accented with rubies, weighing approximately 14.23 carats and sapphires, weighing altogether 8.48 carats as well as fresh water pearls.
