Draculaura, the daughter of a count, was used to getting whatever she wanted as a child. This constant indulgence had turned her into a dramatic and impetuous teenager, who found it hard to handle setbacks. As she hit her young adulthood, her rebellious streak surfaced rather late, and she found herself on a path that she knew was not right for her. In a bid to find her true calling, she enrolled in college. She was unsure about her future - should she follow in her father's footsteps and become a countess? If so, what would the responsibilities of such a title be? These were some of the questions that plagued her. She was determined to find answers to these questions while attending Monster College.

CHARACTERIZATION

This isn't someone you hope to run into, and certainly not someone you should get to know. Peter loves nothing more than drawing out and manipulating the parts of a person they're most desperate to keep hidden away. He's a creep first and foremost, but has mastered the art of masking his sinister tendencies. Still, there's something distinctly off about him that most subconsciously pick up on. They never quite seem to figure out what it is, however. He's one of Evermore's lucky few (or unlucky, if ignorance truly is bliss) who retained his memories from before arriving in the town, though unlike most others he's not chomping at the bit to leave. Evermore is an intriguing change of pace and chock-full of people on edge. All they need is a little push to begin spiralling.

HEADCANONS

In his previous home (before Evermore) you'll find a vast collection of artifacts that span back centuries. From Medieval brooches to Renaissance boxwood carvings to Victorian hair shrines. Any museum would leap at the chance to get their hands on any number of the artifacts he's amassed.

Dresses sharp and dark. His entire wardrobe is made up almost entirely of black and various shades of gray, occasionally accented with white or gold. Everything is perfectly tailored and has an air of sophistication to it (think dark academia, but a little less cozy).

For all his faults, Peter doesn't often go back on his word or outright lie. He might twist the truth a bit, but he keeps to his promises and has better methods of manipulating someone than lying.

Peter is not a fan of modern technology/not very tech-savvy. As with all immortal beings, he changes with the times, but that doesn't mean he likes said changes. He prefers physical copies of files, has no interest in social media, enjoys the sound of a record over a digital speaker, etc. Think of him as a grumpy old man in this regard.

Greatly enjoys coffee, despite the caffeine not doing much of anything for him. He likes things that taste a little bitter, like dark chocolate or red wine. Anything too sweet feels like his mouth is being coated in sugar.

There are two things that have bothered Peter for quite some time. The first of which is that he has no idea of where he came from. He has no real reason to believe he had a life before the day he opened his eyes to darkness and crawled out of the shadows, but there are traces of something that leave him wondering. Whispers too faint to understand that linger in the back of his mind. The second — a profound loneliness that he cannot rid himself of. A feeling that something is missing.

Hates most holidays (or any type of celebration really), but loves Halloween. The influx of horror films, everyone going around trying to scare each other, all the monstrous decorations, what's not to enjoy? Though he's not a fan of how it's become more treat than trick in the 21st century.

Peter has an interesting voice. For one, he has a British accent he picked a very long time ago and decided to keep. Secondly, when he speaks it doesn't always sound like it's coming out of his mouth. His lips will be moving, but if you closed your eyes you might be tricked into thinking he'd moved behind you. As if there are speakers all around your head or you're listening to him bounce between earbuds. It's something he sometimes does to freak people out a bit, though it can also happen without him quite realizing it.

just fyi: alice is a weirdo.

since she had been a child, alice had had the ability to have premonitions of the future. her predictions weren’t always correct, however, when she had tried to warn two people of unfortunate premonitions, and they didn’t believe her… and then those unfortunate events turned out to be true? people decided that she had cursed them. that she was some sort of witch. 

things became increasingly more distressing when she had a vision of her mother being murdered. her mother believed her, but her father did not, and even when multiple precautions were taken, the worst still happened, and alice’s premonition was again, correct. it wasn’t until later on, after her father had remarried, that she learned that her mother’s murder had been planned out by her father and step-mother. when alice tried to speak up about what had happened, her father had her sent to a mental asylum. 

whilst in the asylum, alice was subjected to a few unpleasant things, one notably being electro-shock therapy, which caused her to forget many of her memories. 

she did, however, befriend a vampire that worked there. the two of them formed a sort of father-daughter relationship. however, that ended in tragedy too, when alice had visions that she was at threat at the hand of another vampire. long story short, her friend ended up turning her in order to save her, yet unfortunately lost his life at the hands of the enemy vampire. 

it turns out that the pain of the venom erased her memories once again.

when edward contacted them about weird goings-on in a strange little town, she found herself drawn to join him and try and figure out what was going on.

One day, long, long ago, there were a pair of sister mermaids that lived deep in the sea. So beautiful were they, it was said their smiles lit up even the darkest depths of the sea. Always told were they, by their father’s worrisome tone, to stay away from the surface, for their great beauty & elegant voices would cause sailors to wreak their ships in their attempts to capture them to make them their own. They did not head their father’s warning, & neared the line with water & air meet. A fishing boat happened by, one that was own by royalty, casting it’s net out to capture what fish it may, & in turn, the net caught one of the mermaid sisters as it was pulled up to the ship. The ship made off with it’s unbelievable prize, as the remaining sister attempted to chase after, to get her sister back. But, it all seemed for not, as the reminding sister tired, she could not keep up with the ship & drifted with the tide limply in exhaustion. When the remaining sister awoke, she found herself on the shore of a place unknown, being eyed at by strange sailors dressed in fine jewels. That man, he was an emperor, the emperor of the lands who’s shores the mermaid had washed up on. The emperor proclaimed the strange half fish woman who washed up on his shores was a gift from the gods & took her in as his own daughter.

From that day, each of the mermaid sisters lived their lives apart, but under similar royal circumstances; trading their fish tails for human legs. The first mermaid sister, who was taken by the ship, was brought to snowy mountains where a towering castle was, where the king who owned said ship lived & she was presented to the king as a prize. Bewitched by the beauty of the mermaid, he took her in as a princess, even giving her a new name, Annalise, or Ann for short. The king sheltered Annalise from the outside world, & insisted rehabilitation to be sure she would forget her mermaid heritage, so that she would never want to return to the seas she came from. The second mermaid sister lived a more free life of luxury in the scouring deserts kingdom of her new adoptive Emperor father, who gave her the name Xiaosue, or Sue for short. The Emperor allowed Xiaosue to learn to dance, to hunt, to fight & gave her all she wanted, including pet tigers that she adored, as long as she agreed to not return to the sea. So, she kept away, enjoying her world of luxury & dance, however, her memories linger & the princess longs to see her home once again.

Along with their fellow pod mates, they use their alluring voices to weave magical songs that bring sailors at sea to their doom, & if they are truly hungry, they will venture to beaches, posing as normal humans to trick unknowing beach goers into the ocean one way or another only to drown them & feast upon them. Sue in particular seem to enjoy the suffering of humans, choose not to wait for them to die & take bites out of them while they are still alive. While Ann seems unhappy with taking the lives of humans, secretly harboring a curiosity about the land-dwellers, & wishing to know more about them.

They say she lives on a hidden island that is within the Bermuda Triangle, far, far away from her ancestor’s original homelands & as such, far, far away from other vampires. They say, to even get to her home island, one must have ‘had a terrible accident happen upon them’.

Some say she lives alone, & has for centuries, others say she lives there with her three ‘daughters’, of whom are also vampires as well. One that willingly gave up their lives & blood to the Vampire Queen.

Meet Charlotte "Charlie" Dracula, the adopted daughter of Katherine. Unlike the rest of the Dracula clan, Charlotte is not a vampire. Instead, she is a werewolf. Her parents were murdered by humans when she was just a baby, which is when Katherine found her. Disillusioned, distant, and indifferent, like most teenagers, Charlie has tried to distance herself from the supernatural world life has planted her in, but when your mother is the daughter of Dracula, this is rather difficult. She has yet to meet her grandfather, but that will change VERY soon.

What’s your favorite Halloween tradition? “Dorian always holds a masquerade ball after dark, to celebrate All Hallows Eve, and I’ve made it a point to come as the Red Death every year,” he smirked, eyes glowing. “At the behest of the others, I mixed it up this year-I came as the Phantom still, of course, dressed as he was when he found Christine and Raoul on the opera rooftop. The others asked I perform his reprise of All I Ask of You when I did…and with a little encouragement, I obliged.” What’s the last thing you learned? 

“I’ve learned how to mend corsets, finally!” he proclaimed, throwing his bony hands into the air. “Of all the things I’ve struggled to learn to mend, the most difficult have been those blasted things; I’ve never understood the point of them…but I know now, after all these years!”When’s the last time you felt obsessed?

- Okay so once upon a time in a kingdom far far away (next to shrek's kingdom). The Queen grew very sick while pregnant with Rapunzel, and desperate to do anything to save his love, the King disguised himself as a peasant, went on a Journey against time to a deep forrest where an ancient old witch lived. He asked her for help. She offered to trade a golden flower for something he couldn't give — power. The witch wanted the King to become a puppet, and use his militia to do a Naughty thing and slaughter a kingdom she feels did her wrong centuries ago, the dramatique cunt.

- The old woman had been harvesting this special flower over and over again to keep her youth, biding her time for revenge....

- and well, The king basically told her to go fuck herself, and later that night, he hopped the fence like a degenerate, snatched the entire flower, and peaced out. He didn't harvest it correctly, leaving the witch without her juice to keep her young.

- The witch caught the king just as he made it over her fence, but didn't stop him...

- With the flower's help, the queen recovered, and gave birth to a wonderful baby girl with a mop of hair....

- The queen and the king rejoiced, so happy. the kingdom threw a festival with lanterns to celebrate. The daughter was named Helene Alastair, her first name meaning "shining light".

- and then the Witch snuck into the castle and stole the baby.

- As a bitch move, the Witch, now named Mother Gothel, renamed the baby Rapunzel, after some cabbage that had been growing next to the stupid magic flower that the King trampled over.

- She kept her secluded in a tall tower in the middle of the enchanted forest, and soon learned of her hair's magical properties. The incantation could be sung, and Mother Gothel, who was a little crazy after living for way too long, hypothesized that the hair must NEVER be cut.

- It was a bad life. Sure, Morher Gothel took care of the kid, coming and going with a rope until rapunzel could USE HER HAIR to lift her up the tower.

- Rapunzel was allowed to draw, and gained some artistic abilities.

- However, make no mistake, she was emotionally abused, gaslit, and taught to fear the outside world. Mother kept here there because the world was DANGEROUS and people wanted to abuse her and use her for her hair and blah blah blah

- Well, Rapunzel, while smart, was naive and raised under Mother Gothel's thumb, so how was she supposed to know???

- Mother Gothel isn't a fucking moron and told Rapunzel her birthday was in the dead of winter, so when she saw the Lanterns outside, she always associated it with the First day of Spring.

- And when she became 21... well, she finally grew a backbone. Somewhat. She wanted out, She wanted to see the floating lights. Her fucking hair was 70 feet long and with magic hair that doesn't get split ends it fucking SUCKED ASS -

- Mother Gothel left after and explosive fight, promising she would regret her words when she returned...

- and then a fucking thief climbed into her tower to run away from a couple of goons because he stole something and swindled his partners. bitch.

- Rapunzel, who had been taught to fear men, conked him on the head with a pan.

- Successfully incapacitating him, Rapunzel and the weirdo thief had a very odd conversation... And also she tied him up with her hair. Gross.

- Rapunzel has just managed to get him to promise to take her to see the floating lights, when Mother Gothel returns, demanding to be let up. Panic and chaos ensues as Rapunzel tries desperately to untangle herself from Flynn, literally, but she takes far too long.

- Mother Gothel uses the secret staircase she sealed with magic and storms up that way and when i say Shit hits the Fan

- Mother Gothel hurts Rapunzel, who, mind you, has absolutely no fighting skills. The only reason she got one over on Flynn is because she snuck up on him and got him with the cast iron. She's pulling rapunzel but her hair trying to finish the job of untangling them while screaming like a fucking Banshee. She threatens to keep her in chains for the rest of her life, to sell her to all those terrible people she told her about growing up - the nonexistent people who wanted to use her for her hair — and then Flynn gets the bright fucking idea to get out of there and slices through the hair to get the fuck OUT.

- Poor Flynn is lucky he doesn't die, bc Mother Gothel is furious, still believing her hair's magic not working if you cut it... and she's about to poke out his eyes.

- Listen, she thinks Flynn is a fucking weirdo, but she's not about to let some Bellatrix Lestrange-Lite bitch dk something so awful. In an act of defiance, she slices off the rest of it, screaming that now no one can have what they want.

- Mother Gothel rounds on her "daughter" again, and lunges. Rapunzel jerks out of the way, tripping over her fucking thick seventy foot ponytail. The action makes Gothel trip too, and soon they're struggling on the ground.... Rapunzel never realized how much resentment she had for her mother, and now she seemed so frail... literally, she was aging by the minute, black hair going grey, wrinkles setting in...

- Rapunzel beat the ever living fuck out of Gothel, using Gothel's deteriorating strength against her, before they careened into the window ledge... and down Mother Gothel fell, turning to dust just before she hit the ground.

- Numb to what she had done, she just stared for a long minute.... before turning to look at the man in her tower with tears in her eyes.

- And then, the curse struck, taking Rapunzel away.

- In Storybrooke, she was one of those people that were going ti get a true crime podcast given to her. Locked up until some random burglar broke in and all hell broke loose. Rapunzel killed her mother, everyone knew that...

- It's just no one knew what to actually believe. The "burglar" wasn't there, having disappeared (or been left behind??) and wasn't there to testify. People found this girl with no real name, no real family, and a dead old woman she claimed to be her mother.

- She spent most of her 28 years in limbo, between processing of whether or not they were going to put her in an institution, put her on trial for murder, or acquit her for manslaughter in self defense. it was horrible, anxiety inducing, and she still didn't know anything about the world.

- Plus, whenever she went to the grocery store, people would give you that look that's like _oh my god she's the one that murdered a person!_

- And the curse broke... and everything came flooding back. And Rapunzel doesn't understand what she's supposed to do about any of this. Her "life" here was fake, and her life back at "home" was a tower. Who was she? Where did Mother Gothel take her from? And how is she supposed to find out any of those questions when she's stuck in Storybrooke?

CHARACTER NAME: jim hopper CHARACTER FACECLAIM: david harbour CHARACTER AGE/DOB (if from enchanted forest, general age okay): october 15th 1976 / turning 47 this year CHARACTER PRONOUNS/GENDER IDENTITY/SEXUALITY ETC: he/him, cis-male, bisexual/romantic CHARACTER FANDOM: stranger things OC OR CANON: canon WHICH LAND ARE THEY FROM (examples: earth, enchanted forest, wonderland, monsterland [frankenstein, dracula, vamps etc], neverland): earth CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY: life for jim, he says, never really started until after his time in the army. everything before that point was a blur of basic survival, pain and trying to prove himself. trying to find himself. it was never really till he settled down and had his daughter, sara, that jim found true purpose. but the curse of jim hopper struck quick: the dark cloud took its first real victim.

the death of his daughter is something jim will always blame himself for. he looks to himself, and sees a monster. a black hole, sucking up anything good in his life. that's what it did to sara, and then his with diane was just natural fall out of that.

for the longest time after, jim felt his life was going nowhere. he had a good job, good responsibilities. looking after hawkins was a good task. but his life still felt at a standstill. paused in pain he tried to numb with pills and alcohol.

truly, it didn't restart again until joyce byers burst into his office, demanding his attention because her kid was supposedly missing.

what followed was… nothing like jim could have predicted. nothing that happened in the years that followed was anything like jim predicted it could be. but in a way, through all the horror, through the trauma and darkness, there was a light. something good was coming of all of it: jim was finding a reason to live again. for not himself, but for others. for the kids. for the parents trying desperately to keep things together. for the town that would fall apart if he didn't get up and keep pushing.

since the closing of the gates, jim has found something he never imagined he'd find again: a family. a real, lasting family. it was an adjustment, of course, settling back into life in hawkins. the stares, the questions. even the neatly fabricated story of how hopper didn't die wasn't enough to stop it. but eventually, jim found a happy medium again. and being with joyce sure helped that. even if the pain of the losses they suffered still hung heavy overheard. he wanted to believe that just maybe, that black hole would stop destroying.

and for a good few years, it did. but now… he wonders if things aren't about to get messy all over again.
