BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA ON “MUSIC STATION” 2009

Back on June 12, 2009 Lady Gaga was invited to Japanese talk show “Music Station” to hold a couple special performances! Here’s what she wore.

For her interview, our girl rocked a bespoke Jeremy Scott blue denim bodysuit with exaggerated shoulders, 3/4 sleeves and silver brass buttons.

Her boots are a knee-length version of these KTZ Fall/Winter 2009 “Future Afrika Tribe” collection black lace-up beauties with square-shaped toes.

Her eyewear of choice that day were the Alpina Gold Wing shield shades she purchased from Jack’s Eyewear in Los Angeles.

For her “Just Dance” performance, Gaga switched into a nude catsuit with curl pattern made of plush black velvet from DRESSCAMP’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection.

The black silk snood headscarf was custom-made for her by Muto-Little Costumes.

Both of her statement cocktail rings rings are signed by nOir Jewelry. One features silver cones while the other features pavéd pyramids.

She completed the look with her favorite Givenchy Fall/Winter 2008 black leather open-toe Velcro strap wedge ankle boots.

Lady Gaga was photographed by Leslie Kee for Exile Magazine back in Summer 2009 during her stay in Japan.

She was styled by Nicola Formichetti. The hair was done by Yuya Nara.

The sheer lilac blouse with metallic threads and lavender organza pleated harem pants are both from DRESSCAMP’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection.

Her feather-”stuffed” woven shell hat is from YOSHiKO CREATiON PARiS’ Spring/Summer 2005 collection while the acrylic bangles were made by Yoshiko in collaboration with Japanese fashion label SLY. These date back to 2008.

I’m sure you all remember the Joji Kojima Veil chain-embellished spiked mask we’ve talked earlier about.

Both of her statement cocktail rings rings are signed by nOir Jewelry. One features silver cones while the other features pavéd pyramids.

She completed the look with a pair of vintage 1990s Pleaser sandals. Welded metal platforms with drilled hole decoration and black leather upper.

The heavily crystal-embellished phantom mask is another Joji Kojima treat. Oh my...

And what about that incredibly realistic human hair deer-shaped headpiece? That, my friends, belongs to the “Animal Behavior” collection of Japanese hair stylist Shinji Konishi. What he creates more than wigs are real hair miracles, don’t you think so?

His collection of “hair hats” were made in collaboration with Nagi Noda and Asami Nemoto.
