You were woken up with piercing stomach cramps. This was never like any pain you had ever experienced. You were in so much pain, you were alone and scared as to what was causing this pain. James was at a hotel due to having a game later on in the day.

You headed to the bathroom and hoping that it would shift the pain somehow. "Oh my god" you whispered as you slowly got down from the bed to the toilet. The pain was just so intense. You went to the toilet, pain had not shifted and was still intense as ever. "Fuck sake" you sighed as you crawled back into bed hoping the pain would disappear quickly. After sometime had passed, you had gone back to sleep for a short while. But the awful pain was still there. You looked at your phone and called James's mum as she was closest to you. You knew you needed to go to hospital because this pain wasn't disappearing anytime soon by the look of things. "Hello darling, you okay?" James's  mum answered cheerily. "Hi, sorry for the call so early. Are you busy? I need you to help with something" you explained, not wanting to elaborate with anything that was currently happening. "No I am not busy sweetie, I will come over now. Do you need anything? You sound unwell?" she asked, little did she know. "I don't need anything, but I don't feel too good" you sighed into the phone. After what felt like hours of her coming round. "Darling where are you?" you had somehow managed to get downstairs. "Oh are you okay?" she panicked as she looked at you. "I have the worst stomach pains I have ever had in my entire life. I need to go to the hospital" you urged her to take you. "Okay, do you need a bag? or change clothes? you are going in your pyjamas?" she asked you as you looked down noticing you were in your pyjamas still. "Oh" you mumbled. "I don't have the energy to go back upstairs" you sighed as you sat on the sofa. "I will run up and get you some joggers and fresh pair of underwear, that okay?" she asked. "Yeah" you replied. She rushed upstairs grabbing everything for you. "Thanks" you quietly replied. You got changed in the bathroom. "I will take my phone and keys" you chucked your stuff in your handbag as she helped you to the car. "How long have you been feeling like this for?" she asked as she looked over and saw how much pain you were in. "A long time, 4am it really woke me up. I have never felt pain like it" you grimaced. "You should have rang me, you know I am awake at all hours" you laughed. "I didn't want to make a fuss" you told her. The drive felt like it was the longest journey you have ever done. "Right I will park and pay, you go in. I will see you in a minute darling" she told you. "Thanks" you gently climbed out of the car. You walked in to accident and emergency, you took a deep breath in as the pain intensified. "Hello" you groaned as you got to the desk. "Name please?" you said as you smiled. You headed back to your swat as you sat with your head in your hands. The pain was so bad. "How long will you be waiting for?" she asked you. "No idea, it doesn't look busy so I am guessing not long" you put your head in your knees and crunched your body up. "It's okay baby, we will be in soon. I promise, shall I rub your back?" she asked as you made an inaudible noise. "Y/N Y/L/N" The doctor called you, James's mum helped you up as you walked to the bed. "Hello, what can I do for you today?" The doctor asked. "I have had extreme back and stomach pains for 8 hours now. It has been coming in waves. But I don't know where it is coming from" you said. "Okay let me feel your tummy" the doctor pulled your shirt up as you groaned in pain as she felt your stomach. "You aren't pregnant are you?" she asked. You quickly replied. "no" the doctor nodded. "I am going to scan your stomach, I am not sure what is completely happening here" you sighed. "Should I call James? He needs to know what's happening Y/N" you shook your head. "No he will only panic, I don't want to worry him. He has a game tonight" you exclaimed. "Here is the scanner, this will be cold." you nodded as she scanned your stomach.
