well, i just clicked on the link in @quantum-sparrow 's post, to the .co.uk (not the .org) and got a sortof generic result for a site that's not active, but i scrolled down past what the algorithm thinks is related, to a www.easycounter.com entry which ives data about how much traffic the site gets, from where, etc. and who owns it. Lately the hits seem to have been coming from india and russia, but perhaps more relevant, the registration to hartswood expired in september. It was first registered in sept 2008, so perhaps they only signed up for ten years,and have for some reason ailed to renew. I will see if i can attach the screenshot i took. (New skill resulting from the fruitless struggle with my email provider)

(it worked!) SO, this is from a ways down the page, and i see it did not capture the specific address, but it was that easycounter thing i wrote above, if you are doing a search.

WHY it was allowed to lapse is the next question, an oversight? Part of a plan? Hacked? I don't know, might be worth poking tptb if anyone follows them on twitter.

Hmm. No, because when I try to visit it, I get a proxy error, which has never happened before… so either they got hacked or shut down the site for an update…

Hmmm. Interesting. I’ll keep an eye on it to see what happens. I don’t even see anything when I click “Show Saved Copy”; gives me a 404 error which leads me to believe someone is fiddling with the core website and removed all of the main pages.
