So sorry if you had to scroll past three big photos, but considering these were a set I didn’t want to post them all separately. This is just a thing I made based on who holds the parts of which triforce. 

The first one is Ebony and Lyn, they both have one half of Courage, and the ancient hylian reads as “Courage.” Honestly my favorite of the three.

The second one is Midiya, Vaz, and Zael, they each have a third of Wisdom, and the ancient hylian reads as “Wisdom.” Yes, Terrako is there and after my recent reference attempt for him I have made the decision to never draw him again.

The third one is Ahdvant, Ghirahim, and Gandin, they each have one third of Power, and the ancient hylian reads as “Power.” Please ignore the f-cked up parts of Ghirahim’s sword and instead focus on the vines meant to hide said sword.

This’ll be a bunch of Corrupt Hylia au stuff I either changed since mentioning it or forgot to say. Under the cut because I think it got a little long.

1. Been forgetting to mention this, but Ebony is genderfluid, and you can tell what gender they are atm by looking in their eyes (they don’t like shapeshifting too much of their body just to make it obvious if they’re a boy, girl, or nb). Red eyes for boy, blue eyes for girl, green eyes for neither. In aus where Ebony can’t shapeshift (due to being normal human) it’s replaced with bracelets that have the same color system. 

2. Vaz is agender and using they/them pronouns now. However I keep forgetting this so I might accidentally use the wrong pronouns for them. Telling me when I make that mistake if I talk about them would be greatly appreciated <3 

3. I kept thinking about the Valora Town thing and decided men are let in even without crossdressing, though Gerudo will sometimes play pranks on men who’ve never been there before and tell them they have to (if they’re friends with the guy). It’s a relatively harmless prank, I think. This is cause after posting that fact something about it kept rubbing me the wrong way, so I decided to change it.

4. I... might be changing Lyn’s skin tone? Idk, I just feel like Lyn and Ebony should have more similar skin tones since they’re twins and all. Lyn won’t be pale, I’m just changing how tanned she is since I don’t think the skin tone marker I chose was correct for a tan. Basically, I want them to actually look like they’re related, and I’m now aggravated because I just realized this makes so much of my art incorrect I’m already debating taking back this decision because of that alone. anYWAYS I’ll be debating this decision a bit more so if her skin tone looks different in the future that’s why.

5. I’m not sure if I want Revali and Lyn to be (friendly) rivals, maybe a bit of a mentor in the archery section (when he’s around) and part time mentor with the wind magic stuff. Archery because he saw Lyn practicing and went, “That’s atrocious, who’s been teaching you?” “Uhh... nobody? I’ve been trying to figure it out from... memories.” “...Well that explains why you’re doing it all wrong.” *starts fixing everything about her grip and stance and stuff* Also debating part time wind magic teacher because he and Vaz are rivals and I was thinking he might help from time to time. However, the way he meets Lyn is staying in. I love it too much to remove.

6. Violet doesn’t actually mind the experiments the science duo puts Lyn through. It’s the other three who get annoyed by it. And only when they blow up unexpectedly. (Vaz and Zael have learned to not assure Lyn that it won’t blow up when it’s in the super-experimental phase. It usually ends in it blowing up and the pettiness being worse because Lyn was assured it wouldn’t explode.)

7. I’m debating making the Link from 5,000 years ago a girl (or maybe nb). I don’t really know why, maybe it’s because of how his(?) design came out? Idk but this Link’s gender is gonna be up in the air for a bit (btw, what do y’all think about the nickname “Rebel” for that Link? So I don’t need to specify every time)

8. The previously mentioned Link has two sisters - Linkle and Aryll - that I just realized have no roles in the semi-vague backstory plot. Whoops. I want to find a way to fix that somehow.

9. Last thing, Ghirahim uses he/they pronouns and Fi uses she/they pronouns. (Also only semi-related bc Fi but I think I figured out why a battle occurred at Korok Forest/Lost Woods and I think it would also be a reasonable excuse to possibly bring in Fi? I say possibly bc I don’t want her to be alone for 5,000 years in old Hyrule after it’s sealed away - but if anyone wants to hear the idea they can ask!)

That’s all I can think of for now, though there might be other stuff I might not be remembering at the moment or in the future.

Pspspspspspsp tell us about your corrupt Hylia Au I'm invested

Uhh, I have no idea what to talk about since the actual plot is still a work in progress and what I do have I'd rather keep under wraps atm. Maybe I can just mention random facts about characters?

Lyn has freakishly good memorization skills, she tries to downplay it but she can make it through Lost Woods without Allan - as mentioned in Allan's post - and the majority of Penumbra Plateau. For context, Penumbra Plateau is a plateau hollowed out by the Yiga and designed to be as confusing as possible to any and all outsiders. And that works, for most people. Not Lyn, but by this point I'm being redundant

Vaz and Zael both often make Lyn test subject zero of many things. This is because Lyn's often around Zael do to being forced to be her bodyguard. The experiments they have Lyn test often explode in Lyn's face, which makes her very unhappy with those two. She gets back at them by reorganizing all their tools or books when they aren't looking. Lyn will also mix goron spice into the candies she makes them. They really should learn to not p-ss off the pettiest person they know.

Revali and Ebony are - so far - the only ones who can make Lyn's competitive side come out. Ebony because siblings and Revali because he declared Lyn his "archery rival" when he noticed her practicing.

Speaking of Revali, he and Vaz are wind magic rivals.

When Revali first met Lyn, he was so offended because he saw Vaz teaching Lyn and thought he was being replaced as a rival. Something about cheating was mentioned. He gave Vaz the silent treatment for like, an hour, before somebody finally explained it to him. The three of them were ten at the time. It was hilarious to all adults watching.

Sometimes, even though it doesn't happen that often anymore, half of Lyn decides to eat frogs. It's started by Green, and supported by Vio who wants to record what the frog tastes like and what (non-poisonous) effects it has on them. It always upsets Red, and Blue doesn't give a flying f-ck because the group knows better than to leave Lyn alone where unidentified possibly poisonous plants could be found. She's right, and nine times out of ten, someone (usually Ebony or Ghirahim) stops them last minute.

Ebony doesn't remember much from before being caught by the Sheikah (as Shadow, of course), but they do remember a game called Shadow Tag, and that someone lavender colored hair taught them the bomb spell they enjoy so much. (They figured out it was Vaati)

Lyn is an arsonist. They are quieter about it than Ebony with their excessive explosions, but it's still there.

Ghirahim, in this au, uses he/they pronouns. Also he has the appearance he had in the fire temple because I think it looks cool.

Valora Town is the only one of the Gerudo towns that has the “not allowing men that aren’t Gerudo in” rule. And even then, it's only because they want to see how many people are willing to cross-dress (unless there was a serious issue or it would make the person in question feel dysphoric.)

And that's all I can think of right now, if you want to hear about something more specific just ask.

20 for the triforce crew?

I don't know if you mean the present Triforce Crew or the past Triforce Crew (which, on me. I should have told people to specify) so I'll do both.

20. What do they like that nobody else does?

Idk how to do stuff that literally nobody else would like (outside of food crimes that even Link/Lyn won't touch) so I'll probably have to do stuff that nobody else in either versions of the group remotely like (or at least nobody else likes to do). This was a hard one so I hope that's okay.

Ghirahim (who never died in between story plots) - Collecting gaudy jewelry. He will find the most tasteless, clashy, bright jewelry and buy it. It's a hobby he has fun with and even commissions some when he has ideas for it. Half the Gerudo think it's some sort of gag thing, others joke that he wants to be prepared to win every horrible fashion contest that could randomly pop up. In reality, he was bored over the 5,000 years and needed something to do.

5,000 Years Ago

Link - This one does some botw level shenanigans when he can and decides to do crazy stunts. You say somebody can't beat an entire camp of monsters with just that Sheikah time-slow technique and a bunch of arrows? He's doing it. You think you can't trick a Lynel into charging off of a cliff into the water below? Think again. If you can think of a crazy stunt, he's most likely done it and earned Vaati's nickname of "Dumb-ss reckless moron."

Shadow - Raw acorns. You heard me right, raw acorns. Those things that I think could poison you or something. He will eat them raw and whole like some snake who eats raw acorns.

Zelda - Joking around in Hylia's presence. This may seem weird, but it's because Hylia's a goddess and very intimidating person so cracking jokes around her seems like suicide - especially to people who are in the know. But Zelda likes to do it because she finds throwing Hylia for a loop whenever she can really fun. This is also pre-war.

Vaati - Tea that is 50% honey, 20% sugar, 20% sweetened milk, and 10% actual tea. Everyone who saw Link try it and almost puke won't even go near it because if the bottomless pit won't touch it, why is Vaati drinking it every day??? It's an abomination.

Ganon - Somehow, despite not being either of the researchers, he's that person that will stop whenever he sees an unidentifiable plant, draw it in a notebook, and then write down everything he can infer about it. He'll later go to a library and look it up. It's because he's always been fascinated with the vast array of plants outside the desert.

Midna - A mixture of some dishes poisonous to Hylians and basic Hylian dishes. Not only do the food tastes clash badly to anybody else - it's poisonous to most of the people in the group and Link doesn't have Lyn's poison "immunity."

Zant - Finding ways to subtly prank the Sheikah whenever he visits Hyrule Castle with Midna. Midna is always occupied during meetings and is also 90% of his impulse control, so you can imagine that he gets creative in his boredom. The others don't really understand why he would do that - it's an "Are you trying to raise suspicion?" type thing - but they gave up on trying to understand Zant a while ago.

Present Crew

Lyn - Putting unidentifiable plants in her mouth to see if they taste good. She has a d-mn near perfect poison immunity - which means she can only be poisoned by malice - so she can eat anything without fear of poison. She will mostly do this with plants though, and, when she was younger, frogs.

Ebony - Tricking other people (mainly Lyn) into doing their physically straining chores or tasks. They just like seeing if they can do it and managed to trick their sister into doing it for 4 years once. Don't worry, Lyn got her petty, petty revenge for that one.

Zael - Turning tiny things someone wouldn't consider overly dangerous into weapons. She will take her sword, and change it's shape into pens, pencils, bobby pins, ribbons, and then use creativity and a bit more magic to make them utterly dangerous. Her mother encouraged it and considered it an exercise in creativity. It's also one of the many reasons her father (Rhoam) is scared of her.

Vaz - Some things got lost in translation between reincarnations, but the base of that abomination is now coffee and some percentages which got jumbled: 50% honey, 40% sugar, 5% sweetened milk, and 5% coffee. And then after that he dumps, like, 5 fluid ounces (which is five pumps) of espresso in there. Lyn learned from last time and politely refused Vaz's offer of letting her try it. Which is for the best because that drink is even more horrifying than the tea.

Ahdvant - He likes to flip people's expectations and do the opposite. Ahdvant likes to act very silly and crazy, and he does it so often people think he has no sanity. But that's really just him acting however he wants, and if it comes of as crazy then it comes off as crazy. When he's absolutely furious, instead of losing the "few" marbles he has he instead acts "sane" and destroys you in a very efficient and brutal manner.

Midiya - Wearing socks. This queen can float and therefore goes barefoot everywhere. In fact, aside from her anklet, she hates having anything on her feet.

Gandin - He will willingly turn off his light charm in the Twilight Realm (light charms allow you to keep your physical form in the Twilight Realm) so he can run around as a boar and have fun. Of course, he'll do it on an empty island as to not freak anybody out because he's 10ft tall.

Of course I don't mind a handful, the more asks (and numbers) the better! I want a chance to talk as much as I want about ocs.

2. Who was the first OC you made?

I'm just going to say for the Corrupt Hylia au because I couldn't ever remember my first ever oc. It would be either Lyn or Hylia. I thought them both up around the same time.

11. Which character has been through the most design changes?

The character that has been through design changes is Vaz. I changed his entire backstory and then had to therefore change his entire design because suddenly he had gone from hylian to sheikah.

25. Are there any two characters that are like a dynamic duo/group?

A lot of them

A lot of them could be put into dynamic duos. I'll list them and explain why. It needs to be put under a cut.

Ebony and Lyn/Shadow and Link - Yes they're twins, yes they want to murder each other sometimes, but when they're getting along, they are a very dangerous duo. Aside from being able to work together well on the battlefield, they're also quite a pranking duo. Especially when Violet's in control of Lyn, then they come up with a lot of creative pranks. Though, not when Lyn's mad at Ebony for tricking her into doing all the chores for around 4 years.

Zael and Vaz/Zelda and Vaati - Research buddies! These two bonded over researching magic in their previous lives and this just transferred to technology in their current ones. They have so much fun with each other when they're working on projects. They're also the duo that constantly makes Lyn test out some of their riskier inventions. You can guess who's not happy with that once it explodes.

Midiya and Ahdvant/Midna and Zant - The queen and her advisor. Also another duo of mischief - in the current life at least. They will play pranks - mostly harmless ones and mostly as payback on the council for being stupidly paranoid and refusing to be flexible. They're also almost like siblings because of being raised closely.

Ezme and Midna Ethea - Ezme is Zael's mom, Midna is Midiya's mom, and they are best friends and both former queens of their people. They both basically raised their kids with each other, helped Urbosa when she unexpectedly became chief, and both have to keep their respective "political problems" in line (the council and their dumb-ss decisions for Midna and Rhoam's more unnecessary choices for Ezme). Midna may have joked about how they could cuck Rhoam and nobody would realize it once.

There's probably more but I either can't think of them or they aren't really developed enough.

Okay so, Like most of the art I’m about to queue, this is for the Corrupt Hylia au (because that’s taking up so much brain space it isn’t funny). The one in green and on the left is Lyn with what I hope will be the hair color I settle on. Also you can’t see it because Violet’s taking the wheels right now but her eyes are gray (they were originally blue in the only other pic of her on this blog). 

The one in black and on the right is her twin Ebony, they are one of the most chaotic people you will ever meet. They only have a royal guard uniform because Zael wanted to preemptively cut off Ebony bugging her for one so they could match with Lyn. Not that they care about matching with Lyn they would have just done it to give her a hard time. They’re a prankster and an explosives lover.

Also, btw, if you ever see Violet and Ebony talking, and you know you recently p-ssed one of them off, consider running :)
