#Eclipse; just as sooty: Where's my care package

Just put my art tablet down for a break (after 9 hours of background painting ;0;) n blorbo thoughts instantly popped up

Thinkin' bout some of the tags on one of the Eclipse asks, one of them was something like "If he had a small to worry about he might mellow out a bit" (not sure if that was the exact wording) but I'm now thinking about sometime after he eventually meets Y/N n hits it off as friends. I can imagine he might legit want to show them what he does in the agency, y'know cause he like what he does makes him happy. They both technically work there too, I'm sure there's some string he could pull to be like "Want to come watch me work for a day?" n then it's just a small day of (explosions) fun.

(Also giggling at the thought of Eclipse telling Y/N the only rule is legit to just stand behind him n you're good)

Stretch those hands!! Drink some water!! I applaud your perseverance, but now it's late!!

The ask was about a little soulmate in particular, which Y/N admittedly is not, but he'd still want them safe! He's giddy to show off, and Y/N is curious about new gadgets, so they'd definitely enjoy a little lab day!

Y/N is a little surprised to realize that they are the voice of reason in this combination, and that little rule just has them looking like :| for a moment before they double check - that's really safe? He's not gonna get hurt? Please don't get hurt - they have bad experiences with hurt animatronics - and yeah, that kind of concern would make him opt for less explosive and less dangerous experiments and demonstrations.

That's not to say they aren't explosive at all! They still make for a good show, and Y/N may come back home with just a little soot on their clothes, hair frizzed just a tad from static electricity, and Sun/Moon just immediately fret no matter what since they know just where their little rival spent their day gfhdjs
