When balancing multiple tasks, prioritizing and time-blocking are essential.
Every morning, I list my most important tasks, ranking them by urgency and impact.
Then, I use the Pomodoro Technique: 25 minutes of focused work, followed by a 5-minute break.
After four Pomodoros, I take a longer break (15-30 minutes).
This technique helps maintain sharp focus and prevent burnout.
Combining it with task prioritization ensures I tackle high-impact tasks first.
Since adopting this method, my productivity has significantly improved.

Ensuring an Effective Workflow – Portfolio Preparation
Today in imaging we refined our workflow and identified best practice as a group, it was really helpful, and, as always, the detail of classmates’ work helps improve my own.
Capture:
Shoot in Raw & Large Jpeg
Set up your colour space SRGB or AdobeRGB
Check your white balance – use a 24 Colour card or an 18% Grey card (in initial shot this allows us to colour match and keep accurate exposure)
Import:
Use Adobe Downloader or Lightroom
Make sure you know your folder pathways
Adjust your Metadata
o Copyright
o Rights reserved – have a pre-set so these can be batched.
o Keywords* multiple words - these help us find files more easily.
