Kirishima Fantasy verse Headcanon dump.

Dragon shifter and regular dragon are technically two different kind of things. Dragon shifter are much rare to come by then a regular dragon.

Dragon shifter tend to seek out a huamn rider to bond wiht more so then regular dragons. Having a palce to feel they blong too so to speak.

Dragon shifter don’t become over thousened of years old, their lucky when they reach 300+

Dragon horading is a myth, or missunderstood. Yes, dragon hord something that is of value to them, they care about the most which they will carre for and protect. This hording myth is from dragon protecting the treasure of their current or fromer riders.

Kirishima hair was black at first as were his scaled, they turned red in his pree teen years. Kirishima hair turns black and falls down when he is low on magic which also keeps him from shifting.

He hatched in his half shifted form, learned to turn into a dragon months after, shifitgn back into his half shifted took soem time, more so his human form.

He is actully well versed with humans - or at last with Katsuki’s Barberian clan. He can still be confused about certain things or think humans are weird. He likes it thoug.

He technically chosse Bakugou but both can dip out of the bond whenever they want. Kirishima fears of losing Bakugou a lot thoug.

Eijirou can breath fire even as human but usally uses his daggers to fight.

That his hair looks the way it does is by his own choice, he can very much shift withou it spiking up.

Don’t anger him, you don’t wanna wake his inner dragon.

Otherwise he can be like a overgrown but pridful puppy.

He takes a lot of pride being Bakugou’s dragon, despite him chossing the human.

The little dragon purred wagging his tail at the closeness of his human - his future rider. He was still small enough to share the sleeping space with the tiny human - bigger then any house cat sure, and heavier - like a medium sized dog just with black scales who will turn red with age, spitting flames one day, for now, it are nothing more than smoke and embers.

Yet, he couldn’t shift, sadly. Making communication with Katsuki difficult, beyond body language - he could understand Katsuki but Katsuki could only understand him that much, and while yes, they shared a telepathic link, its..weak, Eijirou not having a full grip on it just yet. One day. Eijrou was excited for the day he finally could shift, to be more human, to be more of an equal alongside the barbarian prince. 

Since he hatched, Ejirou decides this human was’his’, his to treasure, his to protect, his to take care of. Eijirou would never need a hoard of treasure as the human myth says as long as he was standing alongside Katsuki  - to be equals with him one day. 

So he was purring, feeling content - safe. His instinct whisper, not only was his human safe, so was he. Gladly sharing his body heat with the smaller human. Making him purr and croon happily while sleeping curled around him, one wing spread out like a blanket. 

He enjoys every moment he got to share with Katsuki, he enjoys his present so much more than of a follow dragon, which was odd - but this was just … Eijirou. 

Eijirou wouldn’t grow to be your common dragon, he would be different that’s for sure. One can just hope his rider will just accept them as he does now.

But this something for future Eijirou to worry about, for now, the little dragon would sleep and dream of playing with his rider, how it would feel to fly one day with Katsuki one his back - he couldn’t wait.

Why, why was his rider so reckless and downright stupid ?! He literally could harden his skin with scales. He would be fine - probably. Even in human form, he wasn’t that easy to harm. 

Once, this down his rider is gonna get an earful. 

“ KATSUKI !!” The dragon screamed close to roar. His animalistic protective instincts went all high. This was his rider and no one hurts a dragon’s belongings. 

Eijirou grows in size, wing spread from his back as scales covered his side of his face and shoulder, hands stuck between human and dragon shape, eyes changing from a crimson to a golden glow. Still keeping enjoy of is humanity to not fully shift just yet. It would probably do more damage as of now.

A deep growl escaped the shifter’s throat, standing protective above the barbarian, breathing out small flames of fire.

Don’t anger the dragon.

FANTASY VERSE || KIRISHIMA EIJIROU || DRAGON SHIFTER

!! Sidenote; Kirishima backstory can  be change and alter depding on the Bakugo I’m interacting with as there can be many ways on the meet and bond. From Bakugous kidngdom beign conncet to the dragons, Kiri being with him since he hatched, Bakug saved or deafed him so on and so forth !!

I semi default to Bakugou’s clan having some sort of conncetion to the dragons, if it them watching them or them having to prove themself worthfull eventually. 

Bakugou is Kirishima’s rider and Kirishima is Bakugou’s loyal companion. Following his rider till the end to world as the dragon has bond himself to the human. May he follow the babrians ever comment that his little to do with severing him but the sheer trust and loyalty for his rider. 

Kirishima desairs to help in every way he can, which is why he will often ask to carry their things, to hunt, and so on. He doesn’t server Bakugou - he stands beside him as compinon, fighing alongside  him not for him. 

Kirishima loves travling and adventures, if as dragon or his human form. He acts very much like a human thogu sometimes it shines throug he isn’t exactly from there world. Bakugou taught him msot he knows - and Bakugou hismelf is more a like to a dragon persoanly wise. Thoug Kirishima learns a lot from their friends along the way as well.

Kirishima is the same age as Bakugou and the others.

“ Yes, I’m good, man!” he lied while smiling. But the dragon shifter smile isn’t as wide as tends to be.

It looked real to the untrained eye but fake to everyone knowing Kirishima.

But he doesn’t want to admit. Especially not his rider. It isn’t that he didn’t trust Bakugou - of course not, he is bonded to this human. Dragons don’t choose their riders simply. All because of a bad dream that basically put thoughts in his head he forgets who he was which results in him slipping off the path a while ago. Some small scratches, nothing worth complaining about but it still was embarrassing.

But he was Bakugou’s dragon, the dragon of the future barbarian king. And the warrior doesn’t want anything less than the best. So, Kirishima had to be the best, even better than that. May he chose Bakugou, a man like him could always find another - stronger dragon then him. He couldn’t lose his rider -
