Amusingly, for both girls, the answer’s the same: Takeru!

For Kiku, mornings are a struggle; she’s a naturally sunny-in-the-morning kind of person, and getting her fiance out of bed to face that definitely is easier said than done. She’s had to pull his blankets and pillows away from him just to make sure he gets up, and won’t leave the room aside from to shower until he does - And if he’s not up by then, she’s dropping pillows on him until he gets annoyed enough to drag himself out of bed!

With Mako though, she’s got a different method: Food. Having lived with him as long as she has, both legitimately and as his hangout after school, she’s picked up on a few things - namely just how much Takeru budges for a good, hot meal. She’s not much of a morning person herself if she doesn’t have to be, so if lazily nudging him while she’s getting up doesn’t work, or even stealing his blanket in passing,then her next stop is making breakfast and teasing him with the scents - and a glimpse from the doorway of his plate - until he grudgingly  gets up. Usually to steal a piece of bacon from her plate instead. Spoilers: She always lets him-

BONUS: In their Fireflower verse, it’s both Mako and Takeru that take forever, leaving Kiku to huff at the two of them usually trying to become a pair of pure blanket loafs together. Two normally outnumber one, but when that one is their ‘keeper’... Bed’s usually empty faster than they can blink. Nobody crosses the butterfly. She always wins. XD

Uhh around 19 but really that means nothing at all.

Usually Para or multi-para, but I’m flexible and sporadically lazy.

GMT-5/-6 (CDT); depends on the day and the week and the phase of the moon. (Around 9-10 pm is the best time to catch me, most days.)

• What fictional character do you relate to most?: 

Um. I’m not sure. I feel like I’ve outgrown most of the characters I used to really relate to--not necessarily in the sense that I don’t like them anymore, but in that I’ve had more or different life experiences than they’ve had, and we’re now much more different than we used to be. For instance, Belle of Beauty and the Beast: she used to be my dream theater role, but I hesitated to audition for her last summer because I wasn’t sure I could still connect with her enough to portray her.

• Do you have any triggers you’d like people to tag?: 

Nah. There’s stuff make me uncomfortable or throws me off, but I’m a librarian; I have to deal with everything.

NSFW sex stuff is not my thing and is better left to your imagination. (I’m also lousy at writing other things, but I can give them a go. xD; )

• What’s something you’ve been really wanting to RP but haven’t found someone to RP it with?:

It’s really hard to get Lance in a place where he’s willing to let his guard down and completely be himself. He’s gotten close occasionally, but between me being ultra slow and Lance being very slow to open up to people, it’s difficult to work up to either platonically or romantically.

I also want ... a massively long-running plotline with foreshadowed events and character development and multiple muses involved and probably some big climactic event, but that’s ... really hard to coordinate, especially here. xD;

It also might be interesting to try out a post-Champion Lance/explore what he’d do if he ever actually does get to retire.

• What are three of the most important things to know about your muse?:

He takes his job as Champion incredibly seriously. Protecting Kanto/Johto is his top priority, and managing the League requires a lot more work than the average person assumes. The duties and responsibilities have shaped his life and dictate both his public persona and a lot of his normal persona.

He’s also quite protective of people he’s adopted into his ‘family’--which by default includes the Kanto/Johto protags and rivals, the gym leaders, and his Elites. Various others (like Joy) have also been adopted. Particularly with those younger than him, he feels responsible for their well-being. His biggest regret about his job is that it means he literally doesn’t have time to be there for them as often as he’d like or as often as they probably need.

Despite his often serious and reserved demeanor ... he’s secretly a nerd and a dork. He loves sci-fi and fantasy stuff, will gladly play video games if given the time, and he would love to watch Star Trek: TNG with someone tomorrow for its anniversary. =‘D

• What are three of the most important things to know about you?: 

I am ... so slow ... and so lazy ... xD; But I also lose track of things (because life gets in the way and Tumblr sometimes doesn’t notify me of stuff) so don’t feel bad poking me if you think I might have lost a thread.

I’m an Adult. Like, full-time job and mortgage and life responsibilities and all that dumb stuff. And that’s not a huge deal, except that it eats up a lot of time, and it means my day-to-day experiences are a little different than the Tumblr norm, and I might see things from a very different perspective than someone still starting out.

I have over 50 dragon plushies and my dog is the best (as is your dog if you have a dog) and I used to detest run-on sentences but I’ve grown ambivalent in my old age.
