High Lady of the Dusk Court HC (Part 5)

A few days later, Ester is heading to the Day Court

Where she meets someone named Lebro.

A kind and sweet boy who’s going to be the next High Lord of the Day Court one day. (see my New Generation High Lord/Ladies HC)

He was a little shy at first as he was hiding his face in a book to keep from blushing.

Cause this is the first time he’s ever seen a girl close to his age.

Ester smiles sweetly at him causing the poor dude to squeal and run off.

Ester, confused, turned to Helion. “Something I said.”

“Nope. He’s just shy. Come on, I’ll show you to your room.”

Her temporary room is smaller than the Summer Court one but it’ll do.

She starts to wonder around and heads into the kitchen to eat something when she’s faced with an older girl.

She’s snotty and rotten to the core.

She also hates Ester for some reason and tells her that she needs to know her place in the world and being a High Lady isn’t one of them.

For a while, Ester is in shocked with the words she said that when she’s gone, her shadows try to attack.

Thankfully, Ester holds them back and shrugs it off.

Until the girl, who’s name is Prema, starts to aggravate her to no end.

She steals her hair brush from time to time.

Blames everything on her when it wasn’t her fault.

And tries to walk in on her while she was changing one time.

“WHAT THE HELL!?”

“Sorry, I thought you needed help.”

Ester had had enough of her.

“That bitch is a menace. I wish I could give her a taste of her own medicine!”

And she does.

She and her shadows have talked with each other and they tell her to use this type of hair dye on Prema.

She mixes her shampoo with pink hair dye and waits for the effects.

As Ester comes down for dinner, she hears a loud scream from a bathroom and soon Prema comes out of the bathroom with pink hair.

Ester tries not to laugh and she realizes so do Lebro and Helion.

Prema starts to rant about her hair and says she’ll kill them for it.

Ester doesn’t admit it until Lebro attempts to calm her down but she pounces on him like a cheetah.

Ester gasped and stood up, using her shadows to pry Prema off of her cousin.

“Calm down bitch!”

“It was you! I know it was you!”

“Of course it was me you idiot. Now drop the attitude before I dye you with blood!”

Prema got off up Lebro who ran over to Helion.

Ester sighed and turned to Helion.

“I’m sorry Leon. I was just trying to get Prema a taste of her own medicine.”

Helion walks over to her in a smooth way. Creepy actually.

Ester is scared that he’ll hurt her, until he pats her head.

“Congratulations Ester. You passed your second High Lady test.”

Ester is take aback by it and is shocked.

She couldn’t help herself but cheer a bit.

Prema start’s to get angry and begs that she returns her natural hair color to her.

Helion silences her with a flick of his wrist and soon, her voice was gone.

Ester looked at Helion with shock.

“A trick Rhysand taught me. If you pass at least 3 more test maybe he’ll teach you.”

Ester smiles at him as her shadows snuggle up against her neck.

Soon, she returns to the Summer Court and tells Azriel all about her stay.

“Literally the girl is such a bitch. I mean who walks in on people while changing. And could you imagine is she was a guy!? Ugh, the only good thing about it was that she’ll be ugly and unattractive.”

Azriel listened to her ranting and gloating all day, her shadows communicating with him and telling him to just go with it.”

“And why is that?”

“She needs to get her anger out.”-Emily

“Fair enough.”

High Lady of the Dusk Court HC (Part 1)

(BECAUSE THEY NEED 8 COURTS NOT 7! Plus I want another girl besides Tambria cause I don’t want her to be a loner because of her father’s evil side)

Is confirmed as the youngest High Lady. (You’re welcome Tarquin)

“Yeah, I’m not the youngest anymore!”-Tarquin

“You’re still the youngest High Lord.”-Helion

“…..oh.”-Tarquin (my babiee 😢)

Her name is Ester

Her home was destroyed during the Hybern war and she had always wanted to protect it.

She begged to receive help from her former high lord Tamlin. (I’m so sorry my baby)

She never forgave him for his betrayal.

She also never forgave him for murdering her parents for a tax fee they weren’t able to pay for

Her favorite motto: ‘You want something done right, you gotta do it yourself’

Her surviving people abandoned their home and started a new one near the humans.

Even though they agreed to live peacefully, the humans didn’t hesitate to remind them of their hate.

During their argument, Tambria stepped in and drew the humans away from them.

When Ester saw the resemblance of Tamlin’s daughter, she stepped back.

“Are you really his daughter?”-Ester

“You should be asking if I enjoy it.”-Tambria

Fast friends am I right?

Tambria told her and her people that her father was no longer a high lord and has taken over as the High Lady of the Spring Court.

Ester sees the truth in her but she and her people refuse to live near Tamlin ever again.

Later, Tambria and Ester were eating some dinner when Tam brought up the idea of a new High Lady.

“That would be nice, but what would my court be called?”-Ester

“Well, there’s a Day, Night, and Dawn court. So….Dusk?”-Tambria

Ester remembers how her parents tell her that the dusk is a mixture of the cold and warm weather. But the cold weather is more absorbent.

Ester nods at her. “No offense, but I like my revenge on your father served cold.”

“No offense needed. I’ve been wanting to get revenge on my father since the day I was born.”-Tambria.

3 days later, Tambria comes back to the village to bring Ester some news.

It’s a letter from 6 of the courts

“What’s this for?”- Ester

“Well you wanted to be a High Lady right?”-Tambria

She didn’t become a High Lady that fast.

They wanted to do a series of test on her.

If she pasted all 8, she was now a High Lady of the Dusk court.

“8?”-Ester

“Court of Nightmares. We’ll talk about that later.”-Tambria
