I recently read A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab and I just KNEW I needed to make these polishes! The book is so rich and visual--we need them! Red London is a bright red jelly base with a heavy red-gold shimmer as bright as the river that feeds the city its power. Grey London is a chilly, sooty grey cream base with a subtle shimmer just hinting at magic. White London is a pure white matte with white glitter, devoid of color and mysterious. And Black London is a deep, inky black, the only light reflected from a bare scattering of black holo glitters. Oh man, I love this book. Go read it. It's amazing.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A LISTING FOR ONE BOTTLE! Wen you order, tell me which you'd like! The very first adult books I read were the Pern series by Anne McCaffrey, and I still want a dragon of my own. Barring that, I've made these polishes to tide me over. Ramoth is a fierce, saturated gold. Mnementh is a shimmery bronze. Canth is a warm reddish-brown. Path is a deep, strong green with dark undertones. Tagath is a rich blue with dark undertones. All except Ramoth go on a little sheer on the first coat, but are opaque but depthy by the second or third. They're the ones on the bottom right quadrant of the swatch wheel pic. These go with the previous Pern set of The Red Star Nears, Dragons Must Fly, and Thread, look for them in the shop!

A very sheer polish, or a great duochrome topcoat, shifting between a warm redishness and a fresh gold. It calls to mind the lights of the engine in flight. It's the pinkie nail on the last picture. Late last month, we passed the One Year Anniversary of my lovely Incidental Twin Polish! To celebrate, I literally threw a pinch of every single glitter I had into a jar. The result is so packed with glitter that it's almost unusable--that swatch picture is one coat (over a cheapo purple I was wearing at the time)! Each bottle sold will be a little different, but they'll all contain the full spectrum of glitter colors, and will come in micro-to-large sizes, mostly hex but also dots, shards and stars, with finishes ranging from holo to metallic to matte to iridescent. This one was amazing and complex and so cool. Here's three new heroes to add to the pile of hero colors I have, and to kick off the X-Men Line officially. There will be more of these, at some point, I promise you. These three oversimplify the plot for you! Don't Do The Thing - a retro sort of brown with silver glitter for Wolvie, with a heavy dose of Kitty's inexplicable blue time-travel shimmer. Doing The Thing - a nice angry purple-red for Magneto, with lots of red shimmer, a lot bit of alternate-timeline red-gold duo chrome, and silver and purple glitter. Don't Care About The Thing - A deep blackened blue for poor fallen down Charles, with both gold shimmer and slight duo chrome blue-red shimmer, and silver and yellow glitter. Coming later, I'll be adding other mutants to this new super-shiny X-Men Line! These three are the far left upper quadrant of the swatch wheel, shown in two coats. The hand swatch shows my mom wearing three thin coats of Don't Care About The Thing!

The image of the Enterprise facing off against a ship so much bigger and darker, but also so much the same, is what stuck withe me from this movie. Well, that and Benedict Cumberbatch, but that's another polish for another day. The first trio of a planned megaset of Game of Thrones colors, three for each house! All three of these are shimmery-semi-matte (so, I guess, technically 'satin' finish). Here we have Winter Has Come, an icy, shimmery white with white and iridescent glitters; Stark House is a cold, stone grey with silver and steel glitters; Raven On The Wall is a slightly more sheer white with a scattering of black like crows and just the hint of frozen blood. The group of friends I made in grad school were called the Troublemakers before the end of our first residency, a full month before we'd actually started the program as a whole. Kristina is a fellow Synaesthete, so I decided to make her color first. Can you believe it took me this long to make a set of Harry Potter colors?? I can't--I don't know what's taken me so long. These are: Polyjuice Potion, a barely-creamy purple jelly with teenie micro flakes of gold and shimmery semi-duochrome sparkles. Veritaserum, a super-sheer jelly orange that goes on more gold, with tiny gold flakes and gold shimmers. Would be good as a top coat over similar colors on the warm side of the spectrum, or layered on it's own. And Levi-O-sa, a deep sort of navy blue with gold-holo micro-glitters. Here's some colors to start off this line: Just See Me - an electrifying and ethereal blue with more shimmer than physical substance, but still bright enough to cover a nail. Rich Kid Gone Bad - a similarly-shimmery green with dark undertones, and silver and gunmetal-grey glitter looking a little crazy in there. Wherever You Are - a sassy and charming rosy pink with lots of witty sparkle and a heart of gold holo glitter. In the swatch pic, these are the ones just above far right, shown in two coats. They're semi opaque in two or three, or you can use any of the three as toppers over other colors.
