Ok... A lot of people will be asking about JP's new Summer event, so I hope I can make it. SO: screw whatever you may do with this in the future! For now at least. Did you noticed how the Servants seem to be game (genres) inspired? Like Splatoon, GTA, Battleroyal etc. I can't be the only one right? As for a (valid) question; so, Carmila is a confirmed dog person (all of my yes!), would that make it into your Chaldea? And that's it, have a great day!

As an FYI, last year’s Anniversary CEs were the first to depict Carmilla walking dogs. It just became more of a thing this year, and it has been in the plans for a bit. More pets in Chaldea would be nice, and it does play into something. It was actually something happening very soon so it’s a pretty nice tie in.

I didn’t actually notice that trend until you brought it up. I know some summer servants have a tendency to include references, but I wasn’t paying too much attention to this set.

What's with the change of heart about no-copy servants? Is it because a lot of fans urging/hoping to see the alter servants, or do you feel a tad disappointment that those interactions to their duplicate/alter/older-younger self might not happen in FoC universe? (I can see Carmilla being one of the greatest factor in this, considering her interaction with future servants)

Except it wasn’t a change of heart because it’s been in the rough pre-planning since last year. As I’ve said multiple times, I intend to show every single servant in some way or form and give them a proper entry, whether they come to Chaldea or not. 

EDIT 1: By last year I mean 2016. I’m still writing 2017 occasionally…

That’s why I made the revision wording specifically, “Alters/Duplicates are handled differently” and not “they’re not going to appear.” It’s also why I tried to ensure I made it very obvious in every asked question that they can’t be summoned to Chaldea while being careful about spilling the beans about other methods until I introduced the first “duplicate” by other means (topic link). 

Addition Edit: Look at the FAQ tab as an example. This is actually listed:

Is it true the alters will not appear?

I never said that. With Jeanne Alter being the sole exception unless they add another one with a loophole, the alters cannot be summoned to Chaldea. They would appear as Memorial Essences if this happens. However, that does not mean they won’t appear in the collection or possibly arrive by other means. Everyone will get a spotlight somehow, but they don’t need to be summoned to the organization to do it. Mysterious Heroine X is the prime example of this.

I tried to use very specific wording in every answer to state that, no, if they were summoned by the system, they’ll be a memorial essence without saying much more. If I inferred that it was impossible they would appear, that was a mistake with my wording and I’d like to see those offending questions.

This is a fanwork Fate/ Series, a franchise well known for abusing loopholes. It should have been fairly obvious with Jeanne Alter’s introduction there could be other loopholes I haven’t revealed yet.

So no, I was never swayed by anyone to introduce them. I wasn’t disappointed at the lost potential, because some of it wasn’t “lost” in the first place. I just had to limit the amount of over-eagerness for seeing certain alters/duplicates because of how far down the line they were. Now that time has actually arrived… kind of. There’s still a lot more waiting to do.
