@ipreferfiction and i have done a thing! we have so many regrets. this is the first book (yes, book) in a swtor novelization that combines both our canons and is going to cover 6 of the 8 class stories (not doing bounty hunter or smuggler) and all the expansions (probably; we have plans for them, at least). the first four chapters of each of the class story focused fics are short prologues to establish the characters, and then we’re getting into the main stories (as well as some original stories that we’re very excited to tell). it’s going to be fun!

Where (or with who) does your character feel most at ease? How do they classify 'home', and where is it? Why?

Ahhh! Sorry for late reply, but thanks so much for the ask.

Kas definitely feels most at ease around Lana (their lover) and/or Solaria (their sister) and/or Vette (sister in all but blood) because they know they can trust them without reservation. None of them would do anything to intentionally harm Kas in anyway because of what Kas means to them.

Kas would definitely classify a physical home as a sanctuary. Somewhere she can go and just.. drop the mask she wears most of them time. Both her starship, the Tempest, and her and Lana’s shared room on Odessen fulfill those criteria currently.

Ultimately though, as long as they have Lana at their side and the support of their sisters they can call anyplace ‘home’. Just expect them to definitely lay claim to an area that’s Theirstm.

I’ve been messing around on Artbreeder for weeks trying to get Kas’ face juuuust right. Think I finally have the closest I’m going to get. Doesn’t have their scars or tattoos but I’m fine with that lol.

Hmm. I have no idea if the SW galaxy has an Easter equivalent. I think if there was one, Kas would likely celebrate very sparingly, like buying themselves a bag of jelly beans and eating them all on their own. (Unless Lana asked for some, then they’d share).

How does your character view other people? Why do they hold these views? How do these views affect how they interact with other people? 

Answering for Kasandrin Rime; Sith Warrior.

This is a hard one for me to answers because sometimes I don’t quite know how to put the exact ways Kas feels and thinks into words.

She knows that everyone is a person with friends, families, desires, and goals. She just has a hard time.. connecting (I think that’s the right word??) to the idea when it applies to people she doesn’t know. If someone tells them a stranger  has died, it would just be abstract to them. It doesn’t directly affect them so they don’t feel anything tangible about it. There isn’t any deep reason she thinks this way, she just does. A lot of people find them cold and/or uncaring about matters like ‘X number of troops died’. Despite all of this she does try to care though. When sending troops into battle she doesn’t treat them as simple cannon-fodder. They always try to use the strategy that’s most likely to work without unnecessarily sacrificing people.
