In my head canon rottmnt apocalypse future Cassandra is one of the first first people the turtles know well who dies, just a few years after the kraang escapees the prison dimension.

After the Rebellion lost to much territory Cassandra decided it was time to win some back: she organised a small team to clean a small area of all kraang machinery. It was a hard battle, still but nothing they haven’t faced before. Until the last few kraang monsters, which turned out to be a real challenge, even for Casey. The fight ended in a draw. This day the Rebellion won back a bit of territory, but lost an important member, a friend and a mother.

Cassandra Jones died fighting for what she believed in.

Ever since the Rise of the TMNT movie first came out I was wondering what had happened for the future to look like it does. So, I stared to work out my own head canon future time line. The big thing I was focusing on was in what order the turtles and their friends died (the Angst potential was to big for me not to exploit it gdhdhsj). After some thinking I decided to draw 4 Casey jr. centric pictures following him and his family from childhood to the age he was during the movie and from the future to the present.

The background colours represent the hope they have in the future, yellow being a lot and blue/grey being little :D Also the in universe explanation for these pictures is that one day during the apocalypse they found a camera and took a family picture (first picture). After a while they forgot about it. Years later they somehow find it again and take a second family picture (second picture). Again they lose it and find it again some years later (third picture). After the events of the movie Casey jr. tells the present turtles about this ‘tradition’, so they take a new picture (fourth picture).
