In the entrance hall, as if by magic, the sounds of the forest returned. Birds chirping, insects buzzing, and the creaking of the timbers. I took a moment to look around and noticed, from a distance, a staircase leading down to the basement. But first, I wanted to explore the upper floor.

I love abandoned places. Call me crazy but I feel like part of my soul is attached to some properties. I feel so connected and like I had a history with some places. Especially hospitals.

I recently visited abandoned barracks and absolutely loved the whole exploration. I have lots more photos if anyone is interested in seeing more! (yes that's me :))

Eerie Encounter

At the end of the corridor leading to the entrance hall, I stumbled upon this eerie painting. It depicts a mystical creature of enormous size with a head resembling a bird skull, from which something like antlers – or are they small lightning bolts? – emerge. Unfortunately, it's hard to tell as the paint has peeled away.

A cold shiver ran down my spine, and I felt as though those eyes were piercing right through me. The room was eerily silent, with no bird songs or buzzing insects to be heard. The only sounds were the small, dry twigs and bits of masonry crunching and crackling under my steps.

An inner voice whispered to me that I should leave this room quickly... Could this painting be of the mysterious owner of this villa?
