Enroll in the Best French Course – Classes for All Levels!

Are you dreaming of becoming fluent in French, but not sure where to begin? Or perhaps you already have some knowledge of the language and want to take your skills to the next level? Whatever your learning goal, enrolling in a top-notch French course is your best step towards fluency.
At every stage of learning, whether you are a complete beginner, intermediate learner, or advanced speaker looking to refine your French, finding the right course matters. A well-structured course will not only teach you the basics but also help you immerse yourself in the nuances of the language, preparing you to speak confidently and naturally.
Why Learn French?
French is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. With over 300 million speakers across five continents, it is the official language of several countries and a second language in many others. Learning French opens doors to exciting travel opportunities, career advancement, and a deeper understanding of French culture, history, and arts. Whether you're learning for personal enrichment, academic growth, or professional reasons, a solid command of French can be a game-changer.
What to Expect in a Quality French Course
A well-structured French course focuses on essential aspects like speaking, listening, reading, and writing. At the beginner level, you’ll learn the basic greetings, vocabulary, and simple sentence structures. Intermediate learners can expect to dive deeper into conversational skills, grammar rules, and cultural contexts. Advanced courses typically focus on fluency and comprehension of complex texts, formal speech, and writing.
Moreover, language learning is not just about grammar and vocabulary. A great course will also immerse you in French culture, from everyday customs to important festivals and traditions. You will gain an understanding of how native speakers communicate in real-life situations, whether it's ordering at a restaurant, traveling, or engaging in a casual conversation.
Tailored Courses for All Learners
The best French courses offer flexibility. Whether you prefer in-person or online lessons, the course should cater to your availability, pace, and learning style. Interactive lessons, quizzes, speaking exercises, and feedback sessions all contribute to a richer learning experience.
For example, if you are looking for a French Language course in Trivandrum, you might consider online programs that allow you to learn from anywhere while still getting high-quality instruction. These courses often provide recorded sessions, live interaction with instructors, and peer-to-peer practice opportunities. This flexibility allows you to incorporate learning into your busy schedule without missing out on the personalized attention you need to succeed.
How to Choose the Right French Course
When selecting a French course, there are a few factors to consider. First, determine your level and specific learning goals. Do you need to start from scratch, or are you looking to polish your skills? The course you choose should align with your current knowledge and aspirations.
Look for courses that offer certified instructors, a structured curriculum, and plenty of opportunities to practice. A language is best learned through interaction, so a course that focuses heavily on speaking and listening skills is a great choice. Additionally, check for reviews and testimonials to see what other students have experienced.
Conclusion
Enrolling in a quality French course can be your gateway to mastering this beautiful language. From beginner to advanced levels, choosing a course that fits your needs will set you on the right path to fluency. Sanjay vs Sanjay
Disclaimer- Do not follow my example, you may land yourself in trouble
Anyone who knows me for a few years now, would know that attending Sanjay kucheris is an important part of my life. Of course the last two years changed it all.
My friend would have his birthday and he would submit to the fact that I would not attend because it was in December. Its the same friend who started following Sanjaysub pages out of sheer curiosity (apdi enna than iruku andha kucheri la)and recently made a comment “Hey enna unga artist bayangara corporate level marketing lam panraaru?” He follows him quite closely now..
Its another story that my previous boss, a French lady got super annoyed with me because on December 13, 2019 I refused to stay in Pondi despite her asking and fled to Chennai for the BGS kucheri-She later almost gave me a memo...lol.
Disappointed another very traditional boss for not attending Saraswati Pooja at office-Because I was in Trivandrum for Navaratri Mandapam
Of course, no new year parties or get togethers the last few years. I was never a party person in the first place and new year mornings were always kucheri mornings. Andha “Wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year” in the same intonation every year kekalena, the year did not dawn for us.
My cousin once disowned me because he found my caller tune boring. I in return disowned him because it was Kanakasaila Viharini by Sanjay, and him calling that boring meant he is out of my life for the rest of my life. #EnnaOruGnanaSoonyam
So I have risked losing jobs and friends and sometimes relatives by attending Sanjay kucheris instead of attending to them...just that it was a happy escape always :P
In this context, today was an unusual Thamizh Puthandu kucheri- that too with an in -built Kalyani so i was in my extreme spirits. I just didn't have a care for this material world outside that kucheri cocoon.
Post the Kedaragowla and the Kalyani I was getting doped in the Charukesi..it was just past 8 pm when my phone rang. “Sanjay calling”...
My heart skipped a beat. It was this Sanjay at work who is a stakeholder and who was very annoyed I missed his calls last week. Today I just could not take the call so I sent him an sms “I will call you later”
I was relieved.
Around 8.43 pm another call and yet another call at 8.45. My mind started to weave situations and responses and judgements “Its Tamil New years day and why is he calling me well past work hours” “What if it was something urgent” “Well I responded in SMS” “Will I land myself in trouble?”...etc etc UND SO WEITER
After the kucheri I ran out and called him in the parking lot -” He picked the phone and said grimly “This is Sanjay”
I told him I was at a “noisy place” so couldn’t take his calls. And that I was very sorry. And that I sent him an sms.
There was no trouble, he wanted to finish his work since tomorrow is Vishu so he called me today #Phew. I was glad that I was able to successfully cover up my kucheri attendance. After a good conversation (Only I knew how nervous I had gotten)he finally asked.
Hey Mala, what is that song I heard when I called on your other phone?
I literally froze. Here am trying to put the Sanjay kucheri I just attended under cover and now this.
“Hehe Sanjay, that is a song by someone who has the same name as you” I sheepishly managed. And my mind said unless he has been living under the caves he should know who it is. (What the hell, you cant NOT know my favorite singer/person DAMN)
And I politely asked him “You are not much into Carnatic music are you?” ...he said “No”
Then I said , “That's Sanjay Subrahmanyan” and he said
“I know”
End of Story

*Thiruvananthapuram,* earlier known as Trivandrum, is the capital city of Kerala. The name literally splits into " *Tiru","Anantha""puram"* meaning "the town of Lord ANANTHA". This is really true since the temple is at the heart of the town and for generations, the kings have called themselves "Padmanabha-Dasa" or the "servants of LORD Ananthapadmanabha", and ruled the state as the representatives of LORD Anantha-Padmanabha.
The town has a history of supporting fine art and culture. The Kings of Tiruvancore (Thirunals as they are known) have not only promoted art but have themselves been accomplished artists. The most famous of them are Swathi Tirunal who is a well known composer in both Karnatak and Hindustani systems of music, and Raja Ravi Varma the internationally acclaimed painter, well known for inventing paints using natural materials.

*why we can see one side of moon*
Only one side of the Moon is visible from Earth because the Moon rotates on its axis at the same rate that the Moon orbits the Earth – a situation known as synchronous rotation, or tidal locking. The Moon is directly illuminated by the Sun, and the cyclically varying viewing conditions cause the lunar phases.

A lunar eclipse takes place when the Earth comes between the sun and the moon. The Earth’s shadow blocks some or all of the sun’s light from reaching the moon during the process. There are three types of a lunar eclipse – a total lunar eclipse, partial lunar eclipse and penumbral lunar eclipse
🛕 *VEDIK GNAN*
There are four Vedas:
The Rigveda,
the Yajurveda,
the Samaveda and
the Atharvaveda.
Each Veda has four subdivisions – the Samhitas (mantras and benedictions), the Aranyakas (text on rituals, ceremonies, sacrifices and symbolic-sacrifices), the Brahmanas (commentaries on rituals, ceremonies and sacrifices), and the Upanishads (texts discussing meditation, philosophy and spiritual knowledge). Some scholars add a fifth category – the Upasanas (worship). The texts of the Upanishads discuss ideas akin to the heterodox sramana-traditions.
Vedas are śruti ("what is heard"), distinguishing them from other religious texts, which are called smṛti ("what is remembered").
🤔 *How ........* ⁉
*WORKING PRINCIPLE OF A DVD PLAYER?* 💿📀
The DVD ( Digital Video Disc or Digital Versatile Disc) is a digital optical disc data storage format invented and developed in 1995.
DVD base layer made of a polycarbonate plastic. A thin layer of aluminum coating over the polycarbonate plastic. A clear protective acrylic coating over the aluminum layer.
The pits and bumps in the DVD are hit by the laser from the optical mechanism of the DVD player. This laser will be reflected differently according to the change of pits and bumps. Though the laser hits a single spot, the DVD moves in a circular motion so that the entire area is covered.
Red Laser shines onto a spinning DVD disc, reads the bumps (known as “pits”) in the reflection, converts it to 1s (Shiny) and 0s (Non-Shiny Pit), and the circuitry inside the player converts those 1s and 0s into sound and picture.
These reflected laser beams are then collected by a light sensor (eg. photo-detector) which converts the different signals into a binary code. In short, the optical system helps in converting the data from the DVD into a digital code. The binary signal is then sent to a Digital to Analog converter which will be setup in the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). Thus the corresponding analog signal of the DVD is obtained. The PCB also has amplifiers which amplify the signal and then sends it to the graphic and audio systems of the computer/TV. Thus, the corresponding audio/video signal is obtained.

Today I got the chance to visit the new branch of Burger Lounge at Chalakuzhy Road, Trivandrum… This is my first visit to Burger Lounge as I had never been to the original branch… The place is located towards the Pattom side of the Chalakuzhy road and its like the second building or so as you enter the road from the Pattom side… The place looks quite modern especially from the outside with the inside being like the inside of any other fast food chain… Personally speaking of-course, I felt like they could’ve gone for furniture that was a bit more comfortable, but then again I guess like most fast food places, they are designed so that customers would be just comfortable enough to want to eat and leave asap once done 🙂

As I sat down, a number of menu flyers were found on each table and found a good variety of burgers, hotdogs and sandwiches along with a couple of side options… Each My table had 3 of these flyers and I saw mentioned that they provide free WiFi but based on previous experiences, I prefer using my cellular and so didn’t try using it… 🙂

Since this was the first time, I was indeed confused on which to go for… After some time of confusion, I finally chose to go with what they call as their Jumbo Cheese Burger and went for the Chicken version… Along with that I took their Saudi Shake… When giving the order, the server asked if I need extra sugar or just regular… Since I don’t like having too much sweetness, I opted for regular, which was barely sweet even for me… 🙂 The burger didn’t turn out to be as big as I hoped and so, went for what they call as their Fried Zinger Plate which I assumed was a side (apparently not as can be seen in the pic) and then since I found myself wanting another drink because of issues I’ll talk about later, I went for the light Cold Coffee and had it (which turned out to be good) instead…

They all came as shown in the above pics… I was initially served the Jumbo Cheese Burger and the Saudi Shake together… The Burger came wrapped in paper and held together with a toothpick… When I opened it up, I found the burger to consist of two thin Chicken Patties, Coleslaw, slices of Cucumber, a Fried Egg, Cheese, Ketchup and Mayonnaise sandwiched between two halfs of a lightly toasted bun…

This is an incredibly different burger than what I have been used to and by different, I do indeed mean different and in no way bad… Why I say this is because, on my first bite, what I got reminded of was essentially the Shwarma… The bun tasted exactly like Kuboos… The Mayonnaise tasted exactly like the one i.e Lebanese Garlic Mayonnaise we get along with the Shwarma in most of the other places in Trivandrum… The Chicken Patty was essentially made like a cutlet ie, with potatoes as well and then fried, coated in a thin layer of breadcrumbs… It tasted just like the meat we get in a Shwarma and I guess they use the same Arabic spices for this… So, in short, felt like a Shwarma morphed in the form of a burger with Egg and a slice of Cheese 🙂 The only complaint I have is regarding the Patties because I personally don’t like the idea of putting in deep fried ones and if I am not mistaken, it felt like the patty had more potatoes than I would prefer… But anyways, no complains on the taste 🙂
Along with the burger, I got served the Saudi Shake… Essentially for those who may be unaware, a Saudi Shake is a milk shake made with Dates and Nuts (Cashews / Almonds / Peanuts)… It is a milkshake option that I like to have because of the Dates in them… It came as shown in the below pics…
Saudi Shake
Saudi Shake
Unfortunately I ended up unable to enjoy it this time and ended up abandoning it… First of all, the “regular” sweetness felt like not sweet at all… Also, I couldn’t detect even the slightest hint of any dates and it was loaded with ice blended into it that essentially what I was tasting ended up mostly being the taste of Ice… I tolerated it for about 1/5th of it and lost the patience with it… 😦 I guess maybe it would’ve been tolerable with the extra sugar as it will have some sweetness to it rather than being bland…
Anyways, like I said before, since the Burger didn’t fill me up enough, I went for what they call Fried Zinger Plate, ofcourse assuming that its a side but clearly from the pics, its quite obvious that its really not so… 🙂 Essentially its small bite sized pieces of boneless Chicken fried in crispy batter (kind of like KFC but not tasting same) served on a plate as shown in the pic, along with French Fries, a Bun and some of their Garlic Mayonnaise…

Since I found the portion size to be too much for me, especially after having the Burger, I skipped the Bun and the French Fries (ultimately, just fried potatoes, rt? 😀 )… I found the chicken to be cooked perfectly with the outside being just crispy… Seasoning however was minimal with the whole thing being not spicy at all… I think just basic salt and pepper seasoning… But still, I liked it because I liked the taste especially the combination of it with the Garlic Mayo and then Ketchup adding a whole new dimension to it…
As I mentioned earlier, I couldn’t tolerate the Saudi Shake they gave me and so, I ended up getting a Cold Coffee instead… It came as shown in the pics below:
Cold Coffee
Cold Coffee
This turned out to be good… Great rich taste of the Coffee with a slightly creamy milk… Fortunately, it didn’t have the ice overload and so no dilution of flavours… This time I asked them to go for the extra sugar instead of being “regular” and so, it was sweet but not too much, just what can be considered as “medium” level which is exactly how I like it… So, it felt good 🙂
So, altogether, ignoring the disastrous Saudi Shake, it was a fine lunch to have… I liked the Lebanese twist to the burgers which I hadn’t seen before ever… However, considering the health factors, I don’t recommend making this place a regular as things are quite oily here(as can be seen from the state of the wrapping paper in the pics) and so I would rather recommend the place as a once in a while indulgence… 🙂
Burger Lounge – First Visit Today I got the chance to visit the new branch of Burger Lounge at Chalakuzhy Road, Trivandrum...

Ever since Upper Crust opened its doors, the one thing I wanted to try was their Beef Bourgoignon. This is a classic French recipe described by Julia Child as one of the most delicious beef dishes ever made on the face of earth. Of course she didn't have the fortune to have our beef ularthiyathu. Nevertheless my expectations were much less since I knew , 2 of the key ingredients would be missing in this version, red wine and streaky bacon. When they served this dish , I realised one more key ingredients was missing , pearl onions, the one we use to make sambar. Delicious still, you really do miss the depth of flavors wine and bacon gives, instead you have a glossy roux based gravy. Roux is a classic French technique involving flour. I could taste the herbs like rosemary and thyme , a bit cheesy , beef was cooked well , it still had some bite, not the melt in mouth texture you would expect. Served with some rice and sauteed zucchini . Though the portion size was not exactly hearty , you would expect more when you are paying 700 bucks right? Decent effort still. #foodloose #trivandrum #beef #bourguignon #bouef #juliachild #french #classic #dish #gonehalal #meat #delish #visitkerala #divine #foodiegram #instafood #foodbae #lunch #lategram #throwback #eeeats #nomnomnom #followme #follow4follow #wowzaa #vsco #vscocam (at Supreme Upper Crust)

I’m back at Cafe Cocoa Bean again and this time for lunch after attending my music class which I started going for again recently… One of my friends recommended that I try their burgers and sizzlers and so, basically went there having decided to do just that…
Grilled Chilly Chicken
Classic Fish Burger
Chicken Steak Sizzler
CLassic Iced Tea
So, ordered a Classic Fish Burger, a Chicken Steak Sizzler and having been familiar with their portion sizes, I asked the waiter to list the specials for the day and got informed that the special for the day is called a Grilled Chilly Chicken, which shocked me quite a bit as thats not something you could ever imagine having at an Italian restaurant… And ofcourse to wash it all down, I also ordered one of what they call the classic Iced Tea…
So first, the appetiser called Grilled Chilly Chicken came and I was really surprised, primarily because being a starter, that name gave me the impression that it will be a dry dish… That is, pieces of grilled chicken at best tossed in the chilly sauce… However, what came was basically the indo-chinese chilly chicken curry, but made with pieces of grilled chicken… In other words, it had some gravy in it as shown in the pics and so, the moment I saw it, I felt like it needed some fried rice or noodles to eat it with, both of which are not availble in the menu…

Coming to how it tasted, again I was surprised, because this is an italian restaurant making their first attempt at doing an indo-chinese dish… This is because to me, it tasted awesome… The pieces of grilled chicken were perfectly cooked (which is rare these days) and the chilly sauce tasted absolutely perfect with the flavours of chilles, spring onion, garlic, ginger, onions and coriander… I must mention that I really craved to have some fried rice with it as I think it would’ve been heavenly to have it like that…
As I was done with the chilly chicken, the burger arrived… The burger which they call Classic Fish Burger came as shown in the pic below i.e. in a tray having some french fried and some salad (somebody really needs to let their chefs know that salad doesn’t always have to be just chopped cabbage 🙂 ) along with some mayo based sauce, which kind of reminds me of the thousand island dressing, but am not 100% sure as at some point I also felt that it might be just paprica-mayo… The burger itself was made up of a single bun cut into 3 slices that have been toasted with some butter, stacked together with lettuce, slices of onion and tomato along with a form of coleslaw in between the bottom two slices and then a sizable fish patty with the cheese in between the top two slices and with the patty and the top bun held together using a toothpick thru a slice of tomato… Also, the same sauce that can be seen at the side was also there on top of the patty as shown in the pics below…

Now coming to the taste, the french fries were absolutely perfect, as in perfectly crisp on the outside with a soft inside and the sauce served turned out to be a great combination with the fries… Coming to the burger itseld, the vegetables, the slaw and even the bun tasted great, almost as if it was freshly baked… However, what proved to be a dissapointment was the fish patty… I couldn’t get any taste of fish whatsoever from the burger when I took my first bite… I even wondered if they, by mistake gave me the vegetarian burger instead of the fish option… But, when I tasted the patty by itself, I could sense a very faint flavour of fish, however, the dominating taste was of the potatoes used in the patty… I wish the patty had more presence of fish as I think that would’ve made this burger the best fish burger option in Trivandrum… I hope they correct this asap…
Once I was done with the burger, the waiter with my permission took out the sizzler that I ordered and it was indeed as sizzlers usually go, a treat for the eyes as well… Heres a small video clip of it taken immediately after it was placed in front of me:
The sizzler plate had one chicken breast that was stuffed with some cheese and vegetables and along with that were some mashed potatoes, some boiled vegetables as well cabbage leaves have been used as the base on which everything rests, on the sizzler plate…

Now coming the taste, the chicken breast was cooked perfectly, as in easy to cut with the fork… The steak sauce felt like an earthy variation on the barbeque sauce but thankfully without the sour component thats quite prevalent in most places here in Trivandrum… Rather than a sauce, as mentioned by the waiter, for me, it rather felt like a gravy instead, made from the juices left over by the chicken… The sauted vegetables with cheese stuffing inside the chicken appears to have been given a generous portion of the gravy as well, I assume… 🙂 To go with the stuffed chicken, there is the mashed potatoes… However, this is not simply a mash, but rather appears to be seasoned with pepper, salt, parseley as well as some cheese as well, which at this point I guess to be parmesan, which I also think is the same thats part of the stuffing as well… So, essentially the Chicken Steak Sizzler at Cafe Cocoa Bean appears to be made of a version of Chicken Parm served along with boiled veggies, mash and gravy 🙂 Either ways, I loved every bit of it and I am looking forward to having it again soon… 🙂
I must say at this point that although this meal looks rather big and lavish, its really not so… As mentioned in my previous posts about Cafe Cocoa Bean, this place is one where prices are quite low compared to other places serving what they have in their menu and clearly how they make up for the lower price is by giving much smaller portion sizes compared to other places… I mean in those other places, 3 courses would be way too much for a single person to eat and in many of the places, I personally can’t finish even one whole course by myself, whereas here, having 3 courses would be just enough for a person…
Now, along with this meal, I got myself a glass of their Classic Iced Tea, which was served just before they brought out the sizzler… This is a regular sized glass and came with a slice of lemon on the edge as seen in the pics…
Classic Iced Tea
Classic Iced Tea
The iced tea basically tasted like any other iced tea, except one thing and its that unlike the options I have had before, this one has higher sourness to it, i.e. to the point at which it almost tastes like a mojito, but with the taste of the tea… 🙂 Anyways, was indeed refreshing considering how hot the climate is these days here… 🙂
To summarise, altogether yet another wonderful meal from the Cocoa Bean Cafe… Dish of the day for me was definitely the sizzler with the chilly chicken coming to a close second… Burger as I mentioned definitely needs improvement, which I hope they do very soon…

Back at Imperial Kitchen, Trivandrum once again and this time explored the menu even further usual… Thinks to the restaurant’s website having their full menu, which I discovered recently, I did plan ahead on what all I should get this time… So, this time, my order consisted of the Chicken Manchow Soup, which is one of my favourite soups to have, especially when having cold or a sore throat, followed by a starter called Flakey BBQ Chicken Bites and then for mains, I went for the Paprika rubbed Chicken and then finally for dessert, what they call the Imperial Falooda…
Chicken Manchow Soup
Flakey BBQ Chicken Bites
Paprika Rubbed Chicken
Imperial Falooda
The Chicken Manchow soup is usually a very spicy soup that has an overload of ginger and black pepper and in some places even chilly oil on top, then comes with some vegetables and protein (chicken or seafood or both depending on where you get it from) and then topped with some crispy fried noodles… Some places make the soup to be thick and filling whereas other places go for the lite approach where they don’t thicken it at all… However, the version here that I got was the thick one, clearly thickened using corn starch… Also, the soup came loaded with a lot of vegetables and shreds of chicken in it and as you can see from the pic, there is quite a generous portion of the fried noodles in it as well…
So, considering how I had more food coming, I skipped most of those noodles, which made things not that heavy… However, what surprised me was the taste… This is because unlike the other places from where I have had the manchow soup, this one was mildly spiced… The flavour profile of pepper, ginger, garlic, green onions, coriander and some soy was definitely there but they managed to keep the spice level to a mild level and I liked it very much… I am also guessing from the taste that they didn’t add any vinegar to it, which to me is really good cause I don’t like when its sourness gets felt…
As I was getting done with the soup, the starter arrived, which is the Flakey BBQ Chicken Bites as they call it… Its basically a portion of bite sized boneless strips of chicken that appears to have been dipped in corn flour batter and fried and then cooked in their special barbecue sauce and then garnished with some chopped parseley and served with some french fries to the side…
Flakey BBQ Chicken Bites
Flakey BBQ Chicken Bites
Coming to how this tasted, first off, the french fries were absolutely perfect, as in perfect cooking where each chip had a crispy outer layer and was soft inside… The same was lightly seasoned with just enough salt to let you enjoy it with the chicken… Now coming to the chicken, unfortunately I found the chicken to be much tougher to chew than what I expected… I mean, to me, it felt to be almost dry and chewy to the point where I couldn’t finish it because towards the end my jaws began to hurt… 🙂 Anyways, what I really loved about this is their special barbecue sauce which to be frank is my favourite version of the barbecue sauce so far… Perfect balance of sweetness and spiciness… I guess it was because of this sauce that I managed to eat almost 3/4th of it 🙂
Once I was done with the starter, the waiter, after asking my permission brought over the main course, which is called Paprika rubbed Chicken… This is basically a portion of chicken steak, grilled with a paprika based rub, topped with what felt like a paprika and rosemary infused barbecue sauce and some chopped parsely and served along with some grilled vegetables like zuccini, squash, carrots, beans, mushrooms, cauliflower and eggplant (there was also one more… Looked like baby potatoes but inside it had the texture and taste like a cross between zuccini and eggplant)… The plate also appeared to have been dressed with some balsamic vinegar if I am not mistaken…
Paprika rubbed Chicken
Paprika Rubbed Chicken
The portion served to me came with two pieces of chicken breast grilled as shown in the pics… Altogether a great dish in my opinion, although once again, I wish the chicken were a bit more juicier and tender… The paprika and rosemary really did dominate the taste of everything on the plate and as for the grilled vegetables, well, they are vegetables 🙂 but the combination worked quite well and so, this is a dish I’ll probably get again on a future visit to the place…
Once I was done with the main course, the dessert arrived… When I saw in the menu that the falooda was a bambaiyya special, having lived in Mumbai for quite some time, I had a completely different falooda in my mind… This is because, atleast from what I have seen during my days in mumbai, when you ask for falooda in most places, what you get is one or two slices of kulfi topped with some rose syrup infused semolina and khus khus and maybe some mixed nuts in grated form to top… Another version I have seen is basically the same served in a tall glass but instead of kulfi, you get a rose flavoured chilled thick milk and then as an option depending on where you get it it from, you’ll get a scoop of vanilla ice cream as a topping to it…
Imperial Falooda
Imperial Falooda
I have seen the particular version that was served to me as shown in the pics but the place I got it from (in Vikhroli East) called it by the name “Gadbad” and it was exactly as how this was… Butterscotch icecream at the bottom, strawberry icecream at the top, loaded with the rose infused vermicelli, some rose flavoured milk and a lot of freshly cut fruits like banana, pineapple, apple, grapes and also a lot of nuts, especially cashew nuts and what we call tutti frutti and then ofcourse topped with a cherry on top 🙂 Not only did this look exactly like the gadbad one I had from Mumbai, it even tasted exactly the same… So, once again a big thanks to whoever made this at Imperial Kitchen for the pleasant trip down memory lane… Safe to say, I’ll be getting it during my next visit as well… 🙂 😀
