It is FrogID Week in Australia and tonight we attended a webinar with FrogID Project Coordinator Nadiah Roslan! 馃惛
We learnt all about how the FrogID data is used for scientific research, how FrogID captured the first ever recording of the Squelchy Fart Frog, and how FrogID has even helped to identify a new frog species near us! Thank you FrogID! 馃惛

If you are in Australia you can join in by downloading the FrogID app and recording frog calls in your local area! You will be contributing to frog conservation efforts across Australia and helping the Excellent Frog Scientists save our frogs!

This evening we have been recording frogs for #FrogID Week at Greenhills Wetland organised by Sutherland Shire Council Bushcare! We heard at least 4 species calling very loudly, including the Peron鈥檚 Tree Frog and a brand new species we haven鈥檛 seen before - the Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog! 馃惛

Tonight we have been to Sandringham to record frogs for FrogID Week! It was a bit chilly but we heard lots of Spotted Marsh Frogs, lots of Pobblebonk Frogs and one optimistic Peron鈥檚 Tree Frog!

Tonight we had the absolute privilege of attending a FrogID Night Walk with Dr Jodi Rowley at Manly Dam! Dr Rowley is the lead scientist and creator of the FrogID app!! 馃惛 We found lots of Common Eastern Froglets (including this pair in amplexus) and some newly laid Striped Marsh Frog eggs! A big thank you to Dr Rowley for sharing all her wonderful frog knowledge with us!
