Also hurtful, painful, and A Crime: Nynaeve's test HURT and I am impressed they managed to make it so impactful. Bonus points for Nynaeve picking up her dreamchild and trying to take her along for a reality-hopping ride and me knowing it wouldn't work but wishing it would

I have so many thoughts about Nynaeve and Moiraine's similarities ACROSS THE FUCKING BOARD (Lan has a Type, romantic or otherwise) but their routine creativity in situations where they can't channel or have to sidestep rules is honestly, to me, even more consistent than Egwene's? Which makes sense, since Egwene is by necessity more restrained by white tower rules (thematically and practically) than Mor and Ny.

One day Nynaeve is going to hear about the time teeny tiny moiraine (in bookverse) simply shanked a black ajah sister whilst shielded or how moiraine simply shanked a fade on her own in the dark (showverse) and I think that day will earn a measure more of getting along, idk. obviously I ship all three but that's not the point here.

I DO want to know if they're giving Moiraine Siuan's stilled plotline or if Mor is just under like. An Extreme Shield. On Steroids. (by this I mostly mean, I WANT TO KNOW IF MOR CAN LIE NOW Moiraine able to lie would be utterly unstoppable)

I admit I expected Nynaeve coming back from her test late to be foreshadowing of Elayne's ter'angreal mad science, but it's fine, I'm not overly fussed.

SPEAKING OF ELAYNE. I love her. Obviously. I appreciate the show showing both a, her privilege (special stuff in her room) and b, her extremely upright and developed morality and dedication to protecting those she feels she has a responsibility to (read: everyone). There are more similarities between her and Galad than either of them like to acknowledge, I want noted for the record (though Elayne developed more flexibility obviously, probably from being exposed to the idea of political necessity early on). Anyway there are REASONS Elayne and Aviendha work so well together and why Aviendha and other Aiel respect her. ALSO ALSO, her PLEASE DEAR GOD CAN WE BE FRIENDS COME ON EGWENE PLEASE demeanor is adorable.

Hilarious that Nynaeve's futuretest put Egwene in green.

I really like what they're doing with Liandrin?! I am surprised. We'll see how it goes. It also makes sense for future stuff and explains why Nynaeve might grudgingly trust her. I'm not the only one who thinks that's her son who she stilled, right?
