oh god that really depends on what kind of vibe you're looking for - there's wacky woo-hoo fun time train all the way to edgy grimdark cannibalism and a WIDE array of everything in between. i personally started with den-o which hooked me, but it really does depend on what you're looking to get out of it.

I've been a 2k3 fan since season 2, during the turtles in space arc! I was 8 at the time! I had an absolute conniption last month realizing 2k3 was 20 years old, it feels like it wasn't that long ago.

Glad you're enjoying GitS and the Skittles! Apparently I have a habit of just. Writing the turtles being accidental dads. Especially '03. They just give off that vibe sometimes y'know?

couple days ago I was talking with my partner about the way anime was brought over and localized in latin-america in the 80s and 90s. and how the fact that 80s rock over here had such similar vibes and compositions to the 80s j-rock that was used for anime openings at the time made it easier to localize those openings directly, with talented latin-american singers and songwriters, instead of doing what America did and changing the songs completely. and why that left us with anime opening songs that were just as good (if not better in some cases) than the originals.

anyway, that's not the point of the post. the point is that we were watching some of these openings and listening to the music, and at one point the thought occurred to me:

"Huh, two of my favorite anime from when I was a kid were about bad-tempered redheads who only cared about money and scamming people."

(said characters being Lina Inverse from Slayers and Mikami from Ghostsweeper Mikami.)

and then my partner laughed and said: "... I wasn't going to mention it, but it definitely crossed my mind, yeah."

anyway they're both great. I even have a little Lina charm on my phone.

my name is Kynan Ross, i prefer to use the pseudonym ‘Failtrolls’ when on social media for personal reason’s, i have some experience in the unreal 4, UDK, and unity during my diploma and previous attempt at this degree, I'm more of an artist in general, trending towards a more anime aesthetic

i have very little experience with coding languages, as i learnt to use the blueprint system in unreal 4 to make a small game called ghostsweepers, a gallery shooter themed on vacuuming ghosts. and basic coding in unity after the completion of my vertical shooter assessment.

I'm not too sure what to expect from this unit, perhaps a better understanding of the industry and connections to secure employment in the games industry after this degree is complete
