Happy FFWF! Can you talk about what kind of music (if any) that you listen to or associate with any of your fics? Why?

Happy FFWF! And this is actually kind of a tough question! Hmm... let's see...

I know you asked for "music," as in a general genre, but there are two specific songs for two specific fics that I find myself associating them with, so just deal with it :P

I know there is one specific song that I associate with The Dishonored Blade... buuuut it's mostly because this fic comes from the storyline of a particular League of Legends lore (never, ever, ever ask how I get my ideas, my imagination is always in overdrive and I come up with the strangest inklings) and the song is LITERALLY the theme song of the character in the original story 😂 But whatever, I'll just link it here for you to listen to (if you want, bc I acknowledge I'm weird and people may not know what I'm talking about)

Reason why I associate it with the story, particularly with... a certain character of the story (if you haven't read it yet, I am not saying anything 🤐) is because... well, he's literally the replacement of the original 😂 But it hits different because when you really think about my character, because his story is nothing short of tragic, and I think the song truly embodies it.

Now, doing an almost 180 here, there is a song I correlate with dragon blood that's called "With You Til The End," and fun fact... I actually thought up an animatic that follows "dragon blood" to this song. Go figure, right? I guess I just associate it with "dragon blood" because it's talking about someone who'll be with others til the end of the line, which is... exactly Aang did in "dragon blood"?? 😬

Other than that, no, there's no particular genre of music I would correlate with any of my fics. Although I have been listening to more Chinese music by... *sigh of shame* League of Legends (you'd be surprised though; Chinese people hear it and think it's authentic!). Also 大鱼 (Big Fish). Which gave me an idea that I talked about here.

Job

This job is gonna beat me down and undoubtably kick my ass...

Does my job smell - yeah. Is it physically hard as hell - yeah. Is it gonna be a long, harsh summer - you bet! But you know what, Im amped! Im blessed to have actually gotten a job this summer and this job will do me well. Its not glorious nor prestigious, but it'll get me and keep me in unreal shape. Plus I get good compensation, I get to see some of my dudes everyday, free daily sun tan and I get to ride on the side of the truck like a BOOSSS and pretend like I got mad steeze haha. Next year however, Im gonna get full time internship at BMO...no doubt about it; Working hard towards it! 

Just do me a favour guys: please don't think less of sanitary workers.
