“I LOVE that the Duchess of Gloucester wore a hat designed and made by a student on the Chanel and King's Foundation Millinery Fellowship, to the first garden party of the season. The King's Foundation (not to be confused with The King's Trust) does such incredible and unsung work in preserving traditional heritage skills.” - Submitted by Anonymous

Here’s the grandparents!
They appear in some au’s, mainly Such a Noble Sacrifice, you say? And Unworldly compulsion and consumption.
I think Emil’s design is good so I used it as a base, but changed his hair. Now Emil is Duke Edward, Henry, Graham de Vanily of Gloucester and Somerset. And is the Earl of Warwick. Milly is now Duchess Alice Graham de Vanily. The title passed down Edward’s side tracing his lineage back to the 1300s; holding wealth/power since. The most prominent member of the family was the Duke of Gloucester who was taken prisoner by Darkblade in the 1400s/1500s.
Edward has grey hair and green eyes. He’s tough and stern, but holds a soft spot for his family and surprisingly Andre. As Emilie dragged him about everywhere/raved about him after she pestered Edward into taking her to France for school. He’s also in filmmaking.
Alice is the classic grandmother look, with long skirts/cardigans. She’s got light brown hair and amber eyes. She’s soft spoken and adores gardening, which she ends up bonding with Audrey’s mother over. Apart from Gabriel, she took Emilie’s death the hardest and still hasn’t fully accepted it.
The largest change comes with the Agreste’s. I redid everything. They’re an old money family and traces their lineage back as far as the Graham de Vanily’s. The most prominent member of the family was the Marquis acting as Darkblade’s chief advisor.
Marquis Bernard Richard Agreste, is not narcissistic, but thinks highly of himself. His talents lie, as his career as a lawyer, which he mostly uses to provide financial advice. His hair is a very dark grey, almost black that he constantly slicks back. his eyes are a light greyish blue. He mostly wears navy blue and black suits.
Gabrielle I’m not so happy with and need to refine her design. Her hair is a mid grey and she has brown eyes. Lilac is her favourite colour. She’s the one who is far more realistic out of them, and used to work as a photographer.

Their Majesties will be joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke of Kent and the Prime Minister on the Queen Victoria Memorial, alongside veterans from the Royal British Legion, to observe military units processing down The Mall from Whitehall in honour of those who served during the Second World War.

The poppies will be presented in a new design inside the inner walls of the tower, resembling a ‘wound’ to reflect the long-lasting sacrifices made during the Second World War.
Her Majesty will view the poppies and meet representatives from the Tower of London, the team behind the installation, schoolchildren and veterans. The Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage, will perform a new poem written to mark the anniversary.

Monday 2nd December 2024
Tropical rainforest regions are a wonder to be a small part of. To rise at sunrise, sit in the outdoor seating area and be absorbed into its environment; sounds, heat, and atmosphere. The creaks, clicks, clunks, drips, thumps, crunches, munching, squawking, chirping, chirruping, whistling, add the timpani sounds the birds make on the hot tin roof and you've got full percussion; all sounds from undeclared, unknown, sources. If a triumphant finale crescendo is required, this can often be provided by a frond falling with an enormous crash from a palm tree. Dangerous if you are underneath the tree at the time. What a wonderful place this country is. Of course, there is the issue of the crocodiles, sharks, jelly fish, spiders, snakes, and jumbo sized fruit bats, then the scales tilt slightly, but not enough to put us off.
Florence Bay is known as the prettiest bay on Maggie Island. In the 2021 census, it was shown to have a population of zero. At one time, there was a guest house here approached only from the sea. There is talk that this was destroyed by cyclone, then handed to the Scouting Movement as the Northern Queensland Scouts youth training centre, although I'm not sure that is still the case. The bay today may be reached by foot from the Forts carpark. It is described as a 2 km walk, condition easy. Well, it was easy from a terrain point of view, but the path did have a tendency to follow the design criteria of a roller coaster. The bay, horseshoe shaped, small, superb sandy beach did, in fact, tick all the boxes qualifying it as prettiest bay 2024. It was indeed beautiful. A few people, but not too many on the beach. The lasting memory that we shall take away, however, is of us sitting on a volcanic rock, hats on, umbrella up, hiding from as much of the driving rain as we possibly could. Despite the heavy precipitation, the flies maintained their feeding program with us, in lieu of any other tasty options, as their main course, followed by pudding, I think. Well, we said. it is the wet season, after all. As soon as it eased off a bit, we gathered our soggy things together and trudged 2 km back along the roller coaster and to the Renault. We did deviate on the way back to view the Arthur Bay lookout, which did indeed give us a jolly good view of Arthur Bay, although lacking some of its gravitas in the grey skies and rain. Reinstated with the Renault, we passed our fellow Florence Bay explorers suitably dripping, waiting for the next available 250 bus. Certainly, a wet day had by all.
We are with a heavy heart going to leave this wonderful island tomorrow to head south to Cape Gloucester and Dingo Beach. We shall officially be glamping again, but it does look good.
ps. Our kangaroo returned to our back garden tonight.
pps. There is a beautiful example of a False Bird of Paradise growing in this garden. The tropical planting is extraordinary.

Pandemic and The New Normal stitched by Angela. Patterns designed by Julia Line of Long Dog Samplers.
Stop what you're doing for a moment and come and look at this.  But first you'll need to slip into some protective clothing like the plague doctor on the left.  Who does he remind you of?
I know this all sounds a bit dramatic but you can't be too careful.  We're on the tail end of a global pestilence and The Great Colin says we still need to take health and safety precautions if we're going to visit the new art installation that's recently popped up at Angela's house.  She's created the first Long Dog plague wall this side of Tewkesbury.
So bend your knees, suck in your cheeks, smile for the paparazzi gathered in the front garden and follow me.  Pandemic and The New Normal, together as never before.
Congratulations Angela 🍾 🥂.  I look forward to seeing the write up in the farming supplement of the Gloucester Herald.  Fame at last, but don't give Quill your autograph as he may use it for nefarious purposes on the dark web.

Fate/Grand Order 20 Million Downloads Campaign Free 4-star Craft Essence Ticket Select
The 20 Million Downloads Campaign just started in the Fate/Grand Order (#ad) (FGO) mobile game. As part of this campaign, each player will get a 20 Mil DL Celebration Ticket (Craft Essence), which can be used to exchange for one of 47 eligible 4-star SR Craft Essences.
Tumblr media
There’s a lot of Craft Essences or CEs to choose from so not sure who to pick yet. But need to make a decision as soon as possible because the aforementioned ticket will expire soon.
Tumblr media
So let’s take a closer look at these eligible 4-star SR Craft Essences:
Gloucester in 2020, And Then, at Mt. Ooe, Together Tomorrow, Argonauts, Family Portrait, The Phoenix Alights, Girl Amidst the Flowers, and Heretical Yaga
All of the above Craft Essences are locked behind story progression. Depeneding on where you currently are in the story, one or more of these CEs may not be available for exchange.
Currently caught up with the story so all of these Craft Essences are visible to me when I go to the exchange shop.
Tumblr media
They're all out though since I already have at least one copy of each of those CEs. After clearing certain parts of the story, you get 1 Craft Essence for free. The CE you get depends on which part of the story you cleared.
For instance, clearing Lostbelt No.6: Fae Round Table Domain, Avalon le Fae - The Moment a Planet Is Born will give 1 copy of Gloucester in 2020.
Tumblr media
The Craft Essences listed below are not limited. This means that every time you roll on a banner, there's a chance that you'll get one of these CEs. That is, except for a few that have been removed from the pool.
The Illusory Confessional, Flowery Paradise, Guardians of the Garden, and Winter Crystal
These are some of the new Craft Essences that have just recently been added to the pool. Don't have a copy of any of these yet so they're all in for now.
Tumblr media
The Vessel of Desire
Have a copy of this CE that's been limit broken twice. I think I'd rather get a new Craft Essence with this ticket so this one's out.
Imaginary Number Attribute
Have a copy of this CE that's fully MLB and even have 2 extras so this one's definitely out.
Tumblr media
Gemstone Shots
Have a copy of this CE that's fully MLB so this one's out.
Royal Presence
Currently don't have a copy of this CE but I remember getting one or more copies before.
It has mixed stats, and its effect is:
Increase Quick Card effectiveness by 8% & increase NP Gain by 15% for yourself
There are better CEs so this one's out.
Tumblr media
Rhythmed Birth
Currently have 2 copies of this CE so it's out.
The Beginning of Ambition
Currently don't have a copy of this CE but I remember getting one or more copies before.
Its stat is focused on attack, and its effect is:
Increase Arts Card effectiveness by 10% & increase HP Recovery amount by 10% for yourself
It's not that bad but there are better CEs so it's out.
La Folia
Currently don't have a copy of this CE but I remember getting one or more copies before.
It has mixed stats, and its effect is:
Increase Buster Card effectiveness by 10% & HP Recovery amount by 10% for yourself
There are better CEs so this one's out.
What Lies Beyond the Horizon
Have a copy of this that's fully MLB plus one extra so this one's out.
Tumblr media
Cleaner, The Final Narrator, Room Guard, Innocent Maiden, Art of the Poisonous Snake, Record Holder, Golden Millennium Tree, Knight's Dignity, Code Cast, Seal Designation Enforcer, Be Elegant, Gem Magecraft: Antumbra, Primeval Curse, and Iron-Willed Training
These CEs are similar to La Folia in that I had a copy or more of them before but I've since used said copies as fodder to level up other CEs because the effects on these just aren't that good. In short, these are all out.
Covering Fire, Gentle Affection, Art of Death, With One Strike, Holy Shroud of Magdalene, Angel's Song, Verdant Sound of Destruction, Gandr, and Projection
Already have a fully MLB copy of each of these CEs so they're out.
Awakened Will
Have 2 fully MLB copies of this CE so it's out.
Necromancy
Have 1 fully MLB copy of this CE as well as 4 extras so it's out.
Divine Banquet
Have 2 fully MLB copies of this CE so it's out.
Tumblr media
The Imaginary Element
Have 1 fully MLB copy of this CE as well as 1 extra so it's out.
So that leaves me with the following Craft Essences:
The Illusory Confessional
Flowery Paradise
Guardians of the Garden
Winter Crystal
Let's take a closer look at each of them then:
The Illusory Confessional
The stats and effects of this CE are as follows:
ATK 0 HP 600 (MAX: 2250) Skill Apply 15% Special Defense [Male] & increase NP Gain by 25% when damaged for yourself Max Limit Break: Apply 20% Special Defense [Male] & increase NP Gain by 30% when damaged for yourself
Tumblr media
It's a good CE but only for certain situations. I think this should be out since I do already have a fully MLB Holy Shroud of Magdalene. The 2 are pretty similar with Holy Shroud of Magdalene having the following stats and effects:
ATK 0 HP 400 (MAX: 1500) Skill Apply 25% Special Defense [Male] Max Limit Break: Apply 30% Special Defense [Male]
Flowery Paradise
The stats and effects of this CE are as follows:
ATK 400 (MAX: 1500) HP 0 Skill Increase C. Star Gather Rate by 300% & increase Quick Card effectiveness by 8% for yourself Max Limit Break: Increase C. Star Gather Rate by 400% & increase Quick Card effectiveness by 10% for yourself
Tumblr media
I think this one should be out as well. The Quick up is pretty good but already have lots of CEs that can do that. And the C. Star Gather Rate up doesn't seem that good either.
Guardians of the Garden
The stats and effects of this CE are as follows:
ATK 200 (MAX: 750) HP 320 (MAX: 1200) Skill Increase NP Gain by 15% & begin battle with NP charged at 30% for yourself Max Limit Break: Increase NP Gain by 20% & begin battle with NP charged at 50% for yourself
Tumblr media
This is really similar to Divine Banquet which has the following stats and effects:
ATK 200 (MAX: 750) HP 300 (MAX: 1125) Skill Increase your NP Gain by 25% Max Limit Break: Increase your NP Gain by 30%
Guardians of the Garden may have a lower NP Gain up effect but it does come with starting NP gauge charge which can be really useful.
I do have other CEs that also give starting NP gauge charge and/or NP Gain up but those are 5-star SSR Craft Essences so they have a higher cost.
Guardians of the Garden has a lower cost since it's only a 4-star CE. Kinda interested in getting this Craft Essence since it can be useful for my supports who need to use their Noble Phantasm or NP as often as possible. I guess it's in for now.
Winter Crystal
The stats and effects of this CE are as follows:
ATK 400 (MAX: 1500) HP 0 Skill Begin battle with your NP charged at 60% Max Limit Break: Begin battle with your NP charged at 75%
Tumblr media
This is basically the same as The Imaginary Element, which has the following stats and effects:
ATK 200 (MAX: 750) HP 300 (MAX: 1125) Skill Begin battle with your NP charged at 60% Max Limit Break: Begin battle with your NP charged at 75%
So it looks like Winter Crystal is just the better version of The Imaginary Element for DPS since it doesn't have mixed stats.
Interested in getting this too since starting NP gauge charge is always useful. So it's in for now.
Guardians of the Garden vs Winter Crystal
Narrowed my choices down to 2 Craft Essences - Guardians of the Garden and Winter Crystal. But which one should I get with the ticket? Both seem good. Don't have a copy of either yet.
I use my MLB The Imaginary Element pretty often so the same could probably be said for Winter Crystal, especially once I manage to fully MLB it.
Tumblr media
In contrast to that, hardly ever use Divine Banquet. Its effect is good but the fact that it doesn't have starting NP gauge charge really hurts it.
Tumblr media
So more often than not, when I do need NP Gain up, I just go with CEs that have that and starting NP gauge charge even if the NP Gain up effect on said CE isn't as good as in Divine Banquet.
In the end, I suppose it doesn't really matter which of these 2 I pick since neither are limited anyway. Hopefully, both will eventually show up on a banner I roll on.
Winter Crystal
After thinking about it some more, decided to go with Winter Crystal.
Went to the exchange shop then tapped on the Winter Crystal Craft Essence pic. After doing that, a box with the words “After the exchange, it will be sent to the Present Box.” appeared.
Tumblr media
Tapped on the “Exchange” button on that box. This prompted another box to show up. This one has the following text:
20 Million Downloads Campaign Limited You can exchange for 1 out of the 47 available 4-star SR Craft Essences. Once exchanged, you cannot switch your selection. Exchange for “Winter Crystal”?
Tumblr media
After tapping on the “Exchange” button, another box showed up. This one said:
“Winter Crystal x1” has been sent to your Present Box.
Tumblr media
After tapping the “Close” button, went to check my Present Box. Sure enough, Winter Crystal was indeed there.
Tumblr media
Tapped on the Craft Essence in question to claim it. Here are some more pics:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hopefully, I can get more dupes of Winter Crystal so I can eventually fully MLB it. Also hoping to get copies of Guardians of the Garden and even the other CEs that I don't have yet.
Conclusion
So, what about you? Which 4-star SR Craft Essence did you get with the 20 Mil DL Celebration Ticket (Craft Essence)? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging this post.

Man’s Impact on the Environment . 20 March 2025 . Margam Castle . Margam, Port Talbot, Wales
Margam Castle, Margam, Port Talbot, Wales, is a Victorian era country house built for Christopher Rice Mansel Talbot. Designed by Thomas Hopper, the castle was constructed in a Tudor Revival style over a ten-year period, from 1830 to 1840. The site had been occupied for some 4,000 years. A Grade I listed building, the castle is now in the care of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.
The Margam estate was occupied in the Iron Age, and the remains of a hill fort from that period, Mynydd-y-Castell, stand north of the castle. After the Norman Invasion of Wales, Robert, 1st Earl of Gloucester, and Lord of Glamorgan, granted the lands at Margam to Clairvaux Abbey, for the establishment of a new Cistercian monastery which became Margam Abbey. Following the Dissolution of the Monasteries from 1536, the Margam estate was bought by Sir Rice (Rhys) Mansel. His descendants built a substantial Tudor mansion in the park. In the 18th century, this mansion was demolished, and the family returned to one of their earlier ancestral homes, Penrice Castle, Thomas Mansel Talbot (1747–1813), commissioning Anthony Keck to build a new mansion next to the castle ruins. Keck was also employed at Margan, which Talbot turned into a pleasure garden, using Keck to design an enormous orangery.
Christopher Rice Mansel Talbot succeeded his father in 1813 at the age of ten. Enriched by the development of Port Talbot in the early 19th century, and after making a Grand Tour of Europe as a young man, Talbot returned to south Wales and from 1830 re-established Margam as his main seat. A new house, Margam Castle was designed in a Tudor Gothic style by the architect Thomas Hopper (1776–1856), with Edward Haycock Snr (1790–1870) as supervisory architect, and designer of parts of the interior and exterior of the house, the stables, terraces and lodges.
Talbot also took a keen interest in the project, encouraging his architects to borrow elements from Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire (ancestral home of the Talbots and home to his cousin William Henry Fox Talbot) and Melbury House in Dorset (home of his mother's family, the Fox-Strangways, Earls of Ilchester). William Henry Fox Talbot was a frequent visitor to Margam, and the castle featured as an image in some of his early photographic experiments. Margam's links with photography also include being the location of the earliest known Welsh photograph, a daguerreotype of the castle taken on 9 March 1841 by the Reverend Calvert Richard Jones.
After the death of Emily Charlotte Talbot, the daughter of its first owner, the castle passed to her nephew and continued to be used by the Talbot family until 1941, when it was sold. David Evans-Bevan, who bought it, found it too large to live in, but could not find any public organisation interested in taking it on, and it fell into disrepair. For many years it belonged to the local authority, but was not open to the public. In 1977, a fire caused substantial damage, and it was only after this that a restoration project began in earnest.
Today Margam Castle is in the care of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.

Soul Rebel Project Announces New Single “G Town Ride,” Upcoming Album and Shows
New Post has been published on https://plugzafrica.com/soul-rebel-project-announces-new-single-g-town-ride-upcoming-album-and-shows/
Soul Rebel Project Announces New Single “G Town Ride,” Upcoming Album and Shows
Soul Rebel Project returns with “G Town Ride,” a feel-good tribute to the island of Gloucester in Massachusetts, the reggae/rock band’s hometown. The track arrives on August 11 via VPAL Music and Dub Rockers.
“The song is meant to capture what it’s like to travel the island’s coastline,” said Mike Francis, the vocalist and a guitarist in the band. “It’s like a hometown anthem that represents where we come from and where our music is going.”
True to the theme, the single’s cover art, designed by Justin Oltesvig, bears a vibrant illustration of “Man at the Wheel,” one of Gloucester’s most iconic landmarks. Mention is also made of the “east coast island sound,” an affiliation of local musicians, engineers, and producers, with the members of Soul Rebel Project at the nucleus.
“G Town Ride” is the band’s first single from their upcoming fifth studio album Blessings Vol. 1. It follows last year’s Someday, which featured “Cherry Haze” with Anthony B and Green Lion Crew.
The band is back on the road this week with a string of performances along the east coast: Cranes Castle in Ipswich, MA on August 10; Reggae Garden in Cape Neddick, ME on August 11; and Rumsey Playfield in Central Park for VP Records & City Park Foundations’ SummerStage on August 12. Fans will be treated to live performances of “G Town Ride” on all dates.
“G Town Ride” will be available on all platforms on August 11.
