Obviously, he was rejecting her because of the age gap (I mean that’s clearly pedophilia so...), but surprisingly enough, she likes it. Probably because she is used of being rejected. 

Of course, she will never have him, but perhaps she finally feels love with someone who didn’t reject her, probably because God made them as teammates twice.
