Jack Wagoner with parents Laurie and Chris and the U13 National Championship trophy as well as his Golden Ball Award on July 29, 2017
While you did get the report on the U13 SLSG boys who were recognized as part of the Top XI team named for each age group at the recently concluded USYSA National Championship Series, I didn’t have the U15 boys report. Let’s rectify that with the boys named to the USYSA Top XI Teams last week:

Jack Wagoner was named the Golden Ball award winner, signifying the top player at the tournament in his age group. His teammate William Rieves was named the Golden Glove Winner for top Goalkeeper and Giuseppe Gereau, the central defender in the three man back line was also part of the Top XI.
The SLSG 2004 pre-Academy team defeated Heat FC 1-0 in the Final to win the Championship title.

15-and-Under Boys
Player, Club, Position
Abdillahi Adan, NFC 02 Blue (NE), Forward

Michael Sedano, Boca OC 02 White (CA-S), Midfield
[/table]
Adam Lucas (Bayless), forward and Theo Ruppert (Kirkwood), wing midfielder, were both named to the Top XI for their age group. Lucas is #9 in the Gallagher lineup, bringing pace and savvy to the attack in front of an attacking midfielder (Livingstone and Weinhold generally) while Ruppert is an #11, playing primarily on the left wing where he scored a pair of critical goals. The team earned points in the group from both games, a 2-1 win and 2-2 draw, that sent them to the semifinal game against Solar Chelsea, the eventual age group champions.
Congratulations to the boys on their recognition.
