Attending a holy mass at a monastery chapel, I was struck by the sight of animals freely walking around. It reminded me of how, as the world modernizes, we often forget that humans aren't the only inhabitants of Earth.

Our actions have shrunk animal habitats while expanding our own, destroying nature to build structures and malls that exclude them. While some malls now allow responsible pet owners to bring their furry companions inside, restrictions are still common.

Horses, once a common mode of transport, are prohibited from city roads. Birds are discouraged from nesting near buildings due to their droppings.

Seeing animals like dogs roaming freely in the chapel filled my heart with joy. It served as a beautiful reminder that they too belong here, and shouldn't be confined or restricted. In fact, as some doggos passed by me, I even greeted them wholeheartedly with a "may God bless and give you peace.” 😁🥰
