Another essential for the library of any comic fan, monster fan, or connoisseurs of fantastic artwork!

This tome collects the Monkeyman and O’Brien Special, and the three issue Monkeyman and O’Brien limited series, which encompass the duo’s earliest appearances.  The special actually reprints the back-up stories that appeared in the first Hellboy mini-series Hellboy: Seed of Destruction.

Unfortunately, the saga started here, while including the “to be continued” tag at the end of the last story, is never actually concluded.  We see the inkling of the threat that Ann O’Brien’s sister, Oniko, and the not-yet-formed Gorildozer, will pose in the future, but nothing ever comes of it. 

There was a two-issue crossover with Wildstorm’s Gen 13, and I think Oniko was involved, but I don’t recall Gorildozer.  I really need to dig those two issues out of my storage unit.

Or someone at Dark Horse Comics could publish a new collection of all the  Monkeyman and O’Brien stories/appearances subsequent to the first collection above.

Or - better yet - go all out, and put everything together in an omnibus edition!
