Heute jährt sich zum 75. Mal die Operation Aquatint, die March-Phillips befehligte und in deren Verlauf er an jenem Strand fiel, der zwei Jahre später als Omaha Beach traurige Berühmtheit erlangte.

Today is the 75th anniversary of the Operation Aquatint, which was led by March-Phillips, who was killed in the raid on a beach, which is now known as Omaha Beach.
