Derek is a wolf biologist for the California Wolf Center, specializing in recovery and rehabilitation of wolves.

Stiles is the new intern who is insanely chatty and turns Derek's whole work routine on its head. He doesn't fit with the rest of the biologists and Derek wonders if he's even cut out for this.

Little by little as they begin to work closer, Stiles works his way into the tight group at the CWC, including Derek.

Maybe he might belong there after all...
