ARB Birthday Special: Queen Card

~ October 26th ~

“Oh, dear me… it is that time of the year again, is it not? I must have been so busy that I have forgotten about it…”

“The concept of celebrating one’s birthday has always been bizarre to me. However, I am aware that others especially look forward to it and tend to get excited for it. So therefore, perhaps we should celebrate this gift of life. I am one step closer to achieving all I must achieve. I feel, that really and truly… that the best is yet to come.”

Voice Lines

“I haven’t a show prepared for tonight, so the entirety of my birthday is to be spent on the detective and criminology scene. Birthday or not, there are some unfortunate cases and interrogations that still must be taken care of.”

“Strangely enough, it has been an endless string of ‘happy birthdays’ from those around me. First, I woke up to see a storm of birthday posts and messages from my fans on social media. I must say, it was an oddly wondrous way to start my day. And then, as soon as I headed to my headquarters, my team surprised me with a small in-company party. Well… it isn’t like they can surprise me, I’ve seen how they have been acting these past few days. And I even told them to not bring me any gifts for my birthday… hah… It would seem that even their Queen cannot tell them ‘no’. No matter. It warms my heart so that there are many who would come together for this pointless occasion.”

“Oh my, Reiaki-chan? What brings you here? You don’t work for me today. You insolent little… Hah… I believe I made it clear to you last year and many times since then that you are to not present me with a gift on this day… Goodness me, I suppose I cannot get through to you…”

“So what even is this? A bracelet? It’s a rather lovely one. A magic prop, you say? Reiaki-chan, you are aware I’ve been building all of my stage props since our first performance, are you not? My oh my, it would seem that you are more observant than I took you for. This certainly will save me time for upcoming performances. Thank you, my dear. Really and truly…”

“Miku-chan, you’re supposed to be at your university today. Christ… Reiaki-chan did say you’d come by to bring me something. You two must cease this. There is no point in gifting me presents on this day. Hah… alright then, I suppose I shall take this and send you on your way.”

“It’s… four tiny jars with red strings attached to them. Now what’s this I see inside them? I must ask: how do you get your hands on these type of things? It matters not, don’t answer that. A protection… spell? Now why would you do such a thing for me? Miku-chan… you’ve really exceeded my expectations. It is not easy to do so. Thank you. And that is the truth, my dear subject.”

Reiaki Lines

“Haaaappy Birthday, Queen Card!! Yeah, I know I don’t work for you since you’re not performing today, but I just had to bring you something for your birthday! And not just me! Miku-chan and the Yamada brothers also got you a little something too! Look, I know you tell us not to give you anything. But if there’s anything who deserves a birthday gift, it’s you. You might not want to admit it, but you do a lot of good for this city and you’re pouring your all into your future plans for our sake. Please… just accept this one small thing.”

“Yay! Open up! You won’t regret it, I promise! Hehe! You like it? Truth be told, I didn’t think I’d make it in time for your birthday, but what a miracle, am I right?! It’s a magic prop! You make all your stage props yourself, but hopefully having this around will take some load off your shoulders! Yeah! You talked about wanting to do a fire show for your next illusionist performance! Y’know… I had to get your assistant, Tensho, to build this mini fireshooter and then I had to send it off to someone else to make it appear like jewelry! Hehe! Happy Birthday, Your Majesty!”

Miku Lines

“It’s your birthday again. It’s not like this place is far from my school, plus I have a few hours to spare before my next class. Shut up, you deserve it. You might not think it, but you do. Now hurry up and accept it.”

“It’s my own spell jar. It’s got some fern, cedar, and bits of milkweed. Hang these by a window that opens, it’ll form a protection barrier to where you live and block out energy you wouldn’t want coming in. Look, I… worry that you keep taking on the weight of the world on your shoulders and that even worse things might be coming your way. But I have faith in you, Queen Card… so let me do something for you in the best way I know how. Happy Birthday, my Queen.”

Lego Nexo Knights x Hatsune Miku Colourful Stage

(Finally, the final part...)

Knighton (Diggington)

In the small village called Diggington, there is a bakery family that live there. Axl, who's going to graduate tomorrow, have a celebration with his family for his graduation tomorrow.

"Now, I always told you to not eat too much food Axl, but because tomorrow is gonna be a big day for you, I let you off this time!" Said Mama Axl to Axl.

"Yes, mom!" Axl said while eating the food that has been put on the table. Of course, he wouldn't forget his father and sister with him as well, sitting together at he table.

All of them being a big happy family together.

"Mama, papa, do you think we could watch big brother's graduation tomorrow?" Axlina said as she continue eating while playing with her doll.

"I am sorry sweetie, but urge matters of mining have tonbe ready for tomorrow mines. Heard from the other miners to come mine quickly tomorrow." Papa Axl said.

"This better not be you slacking off with your friends!" Mama Axl exclaimed.

"Hehe, I promised you it's not, honey." Papa Axl said, "We're very sorry for not coming tomorrow for your graduation, Axl."

"It's alright, pa!" Said Axl as he chew some fried chicken meat, "I don't mind at all!"

Just after the meal, Axl helping his mother to wash the dishes. After that done as well, he is planning to go out to practice his performance tomorrow only to stop by the sound of his Nexo Phone, a gift from Lance.

Axl look over at the screen and see a notification, he looks over what write it over, "Untitled?"

Axl being feeling a bit weird and freaky by it, felt like something is up with his phone. He wants to swipe it away as a sign to ignore whatever that is that appeared in his phone.

"Axl! Mom's calling-"

He accidentlly press the notification instead and a bright light surrounding him.

"-for you? Huh? Axl?"

——SEGA——

???

A soft little plushies footsteps can be heard, along with a soft giggle of a children. In the middle of nowhere, Axl look around at where he could be. It looks like there's festival going on with all the colourful balloons and a lot of intrigued rides that he never seen before.

Finally those soft footsteps finally stop and the giggle is over as Axl turn around to see a very colourful plushies look up at him.

"Um... Hello?" Axl said, awkwardly waving at all the small plushies.

"Woah!"

"Big!"

"Big kid!"

"So tall!"

"Tall like KAITO!"

"Yeah! Big kid is so tall like KAITO!"

"Tall!"

Now, Axl does have a little sister and she's a kid, he get that. But these plushies is different than his sister! Before Axl could say anything, he felt something soft grab a hold on his hand.

He look down to see a rabbit plushy try holding his hand with it's soft plush pawn.

"Let's bring the big to watch the show together!" The rabbit plushy said to the other plushies.

And just like that, all of the plushies and Axl has been brought to a big red tent that seems to be where the show been held. The plushies give Axl a seat at the front of the stage.

The lights finally let off only for one light to turn on on stage as he sees two people on stage. Cyan hair girl snd blue hair man.

"Everyone! Welcome back to our show!" Said the cyan girl, energetically than ever.

"We're happy that you guys could come back watching our play." The blue hair man said, more calm than the cyan hair girl.

"For our today show, we're gonna make it very special because we're gonna bring one of you to play one of the roles for our show," the cyan girl paused for a moment from her explanation.

"Hansel and Gretel!" Both the cyan hair girl and blue hair man said at the same time.

Now, all the plushies in here started to jump and raise their hands to be pick for the role. The lights above them started to move around to pick the perfect role for the show until the light finally stop, above him?!

"Woah! We're finally pick the role! Right, KAITO!?"

"Yes, Miku. Come up big guy, we're gonna start the show!"

Feeling a bit nervous to do a performance and come up the stage is definitely what Axl didn't put in his to do list...

'Miku' and 'KAITO' brought Axl to the backstage, they're helping Axl to get ready for the show.

"Don't worry for getting nervous," 'KAITO' said to Axl, as if he can see Axl feeling anxious to do acting, "Only follow what you remember about the story of Hansel and Gretel. Do you know the story, mister...?"

"Just Axl, mister. And, I don't think I know it..."

"Hm... Is that so?" 'KAITO' said, he started to think of a way to get Axl to understand. Then an idea came.

"Miku! Do you mind a little help?"

"Once upon a time, at the middle of a forest, lisve a small family. The dad, the mom, and their two precious children, Hansel and Gretel. The mother gives a suggestion to the father to abandon Hansel and Gretel because their food stocks started to get more and more less each day. The father hesistate to do the suggestion and yet he agree to it."

As KAITO narrate the story, Axl as 'Hansel', and 'Miku' as 'Gretel', is on the stage playing as if they were Hansel and Gretel.

"C'mon, Hansel! The butterflies will fly away if we don't get it!"

"A-alright, Gretel!"

"One day the parents finally make a plan and brought Hansel and Gretel with them to the forest. Unbeknownst to them, Hansel have brought a lot of small pebbles rock. That way, when the parents goes away, they can go back home by following the small rock pebbles."

A silhouette of the parents brought 'Hansel' and 'Gretel' them to a forest and as the silhouettes have finally left, leaving 'Hansel' and 'Gretel' alone in the forest.

"Mom, and dad seems to be left us alone, huh?"

"No if we're not following back the trail."

"What do you mean Hansel?"

'Hansel' point at the road they've came before as both 'Hansel' and 'Gretel' saw the small pebbles rock making a road back from their house. Both of them back to their 'house', greet their 'father' happily, while the mother does not feel any sense of enjoyment for their return.

"Tomorrow, the mother again planning to brought 'Hansel' and 'Gretel' to the forest again but 'Hansel' didn't have time to collect the small rock pebbles his collect. But instead, they use the bread that their mother gift them. However, on the way for their stop, the birds have took the opportunity to eat the bread that has been left by 'Hansel'."

As it said, both 'Hansel' and 'Gretel' being left again in the forest, after their parents have gone away, they're planning to follow the trail back only for them to see the bread have been eaten by the birds.

"Oh no, our road back home!"

"Aw man..."

Both 'Hansel' and 'Gretel' are at lost. The play continue normally and nothing happen. Axl can't help but feel happy and calm at these play his in. It goes on and on, finally the part of Hansel and Gretel meet the witch came. Axl felt a bit nervous and afraid if he mess up the scene...

But KAITO's and 'Miku''s word bring back to his mind...

"You're nervous you mess up the performance?" KAITO said, try to confirm what Axl said is what he heard.

"I am not... A best person to do the acting stunts... Normally it would be a friend of mine who's a good actor, though he can be a little much, but his acting skill is better than I am..." As Axl said that, KAITO and 'Miku' look at him and glance at each other, "I am sorry for being an inconvenient for your performance–"

"Well, we just have to make the show our own way again, huh?"

"Eh?"

"Yay! Another show, another original version of our show!"

"Wait, what–"

"Miku, tell the others to get some old material that we've keep in case we're trying something different for our performance!"

"Aye, yae! Captain!"

"Wait!" Axl shouted, "I, I don't think it's gonna be good! I, I don't know how to form a word for the show, I don't know how to deliver an important message of the show to audiences! What if I–"

"–not messed up?" Suddenly 'Miku' said. Axl stop and look at her, she grin widely, almost like a cat, but not the Cheshire cat kind of smile...

KAITO smile warmly at Axl, "Axl, it doesn't matter for you to mess it up. We believe that you could do it." Before Axl could say anything, KAITO beat him to it, "As a performer and a troupe leader, it is in my work to make sure my trope members did well in performance, however..."

KAITO walk towards Axl and held his hand, "It is also my job to make sure all of my trope members having fun as long as they make our audiences happy and smile as if there is no tomorrow." KAITO said, "It is alright to feel nervous, everyone has their own fear in them that they won't get over..."

"Mhm! That's right!" 'Miku' exclaimed, "Sometimes all you need to do is to let go of those painful feeling of yours and let all your waku-waku out from it!"

"Waku-waku?"

"Your excitement, silly!" 'Miku' said, "Now don't show all of that frown face of yours and turn it upside down!"

——

Finally the final scene of Hansel and Gretel ends with the mother ran away after being found out the real reason she suggested on abandoning Hansel and Gretel. Hansel, Gretel and their father live happily together in the forest.

Axl, 'Miku' and KAITO standing on the middle of the stage and give a bow for all the plushies that watching the show.

"Thank you for your staying and enjoyment of the show. I'm, KAITO, the troupe leader and the narrator of the show, are very grateful for all of you for staying!" KAITO said.

"Thank you for enjoying the show! My name is Hatsune Miku! Actor of Gretel for our version of Hansel and Gretel! Thank you everyone, for staying and watching the show." Hatsune Miku said.

Finally it was Axl turn to say something for the Axl, suddenly the nervousness of his is back again. He glance nervously at the audiences, lost of word, lost to give a word. He glance at Miku and KAITO, they give him their full support. Miku look at him with adoration and admiration. KAITO look at him like a parents look at their children with nothing but comfort for them.

Axl took a deep breath, and let it all out as he look at the audiences, "My name is Axl, I am a lead role of Hansel. Thank you for letting me play the role and experience the kind of feeling on stage! I am so happy and grateful for all of you!"

All the plushies suddenly jump around their seats as their cheer for Axl's confident and sincere speech. KAITO also give a clap for Axl's speech while Miku follow the plushies as she jump around like them.

"Yay! See all of you next time!" Miku said to the audiences.

Finally as the shows over, the curtain call to end the show. Axl can't help but feel grateful and happy with the performance and everything he did to make it till the end. Suddenly Miku tackle Axl but not enough to drop both of them on the ground.

"Yay! You did it, Axl!" Miku exclaimed.

"Now, now, Miku. Gives him some space," as Miku let go of him, KAITO look at Axl warmly, "That was an amazing performance, Axl. Well done."

"T-thank you. I didn't know–" before Axl could finish what he needs to say, he stop for a second, "Wait, how do you know my name?"

"Hehe, don't think too much of it, silly!" Miku said, "Are you going to come back here again?!"

"Eh? I, I can come back?" Axl asked, flabbergasted by that question.

"Of course, this Sekai open for the people who wants to know their true feelings." KAITO said, "It is our duty to help you find yours, Axl."

"S-sekai? True feelings?"

"Yup, yup! This Sekai was created by our host, who's feeling is so strong that they can create it! There's some other people who has the same feelings as our host, and they're available to come and exit of this Sekai!" Miku explained.

"You keep saying Sekai and this place was created by the host's feelings. Is Sekai means world?" Axl asked.

"Yes. Sekai means "world". This is the place we called Wonderland Sekai." KAITO said.

"If you're saying I can come back, how do I get out?" Axl asked.

"Easy-peasy as the lemon squeezy! You open up your phone again, go to "Untitled ", you will see it as a song and it shows it playing. Press the play button to pause it and boom! You finally escaped!" Miku said so casually and exciting.

"I, I see..." As Axl said that, he glance around his surrounding, the stage, the seat, and KAITO and Miku...

"Remember, you can come back anytime you want," KAITO said, "Just press the play button of "Untitled"."

"I will," Axl said, smile at Miku and KAITO.

"You will?!" Miku exclaimed excitedly.

"I will!" Axl shouted excitedly as well, he look back at KAITO and Miku, "I will be back! I promise you! See you later!"

As he said that, he press the play button of "Untitled" and finally the bright light from his phone started to surround him. Finally Axl is gone.

KAITO and Miku just stare at where Axl used to stand, "You know, I am really surprised on how you know his name, Miku." KAITO said, nervous about the Vocaloid next to him knowing something that he doesn't.

"Hehe, a magician never reveal her secret!"
