Welcome to our second edition of the Hana Lee Appreciation Week!! We celebrated it in the first week of October last year, but this time - such World Music Day falls on 21st June - we've decided to shift our appreciation week to a slightly earlier date. After all, music is one of Hana's first great loves! 💞💞💞

Last year, we held our first ever HLAW, and every single entry we received for it was a sheer slice of perfection!! We just can't wait to see what Hana stans have in store for us this year!!

As always, this week is about celebrating Hana Lee in all her glory and her complexity - her passions, her kindness, her confusions, her own journey to healing and confidence. We love every facet of her, and this week is dedicated to showcasing ALL of them!

Certain days will have two themes - you can choose either one for your content, or even do a combination of both! Any content is welcome - fanfic, fanart, edits, moodboards, meta, playlists, icons...even screenshots of your favourite scenes of Hana!! We also accept WIPs so if you're not able to complete the piece on time, you can always show us a WIP of the piece you were working on! As long as the content is focused on Hana and shows a positive depiction of her, the sky's the limit!

For Throwback typically, we accept old pieces on Hana, and invite the creators to briefly tell us about the process of creating their piece. Here's a throwback questionnaire you can use if you like!

The themes are meant to be inspirations for your writing - it isn't completely essential for you to send content for a particular day only specifically for that day. You can always send it later as long as you tag it with the day you meant the work for!

We are finally reaching our last day of HLAW!! And we've got such incredible entries - this time also from new people who have sent us such fabulous work! We're grateful to all our contributors - both old and new - for the love and enthusiasm you've shown us so far and hope to see more in store today as well!!

Day 5 is all about the relationships!! Whether familial, platonic or romantic, Hana gives each one her all 🩷 She is also someone who is attempting to learn a new normal - how to continue loving others while also taking care of herself! This is a chance to explore Hana's connections with other people, whether in canon or your OCs, and explore her unique way of navigating them!!

Any content is welcome!! Fanfic, fanart, edits, moodboards, interactive, media, headcanons, screenshots, playlists, meta...even screenshots of your favourite scenes would be great!! Our only requirement is that the content is centered on Hana, and that the depiction of her is positive. You can also send in WIPs in case you don't complete a work!

You can also send in a work on the days following a particular theme - this is no pressure for it to be put up exactly that day! We will also have an extra week for anyone who still needs time 💕 May 4th will be our final official date for entries (to incorporate into our video!) but HLAW will still be open for entries for the rest of the year until the next event!

We are midway through our week, and now down to our last two days! So far we've received some really gorgeous pieces...we simply can't wait for all of you to see the masterlist even though we'll be getting more soon! Each piece has such a unique, insightful and incredible perspective into Hana as a character.

For Day 4, we have two prompts: Relationships and Homes.

We're leaving "relationships" open to interpretation - it could be romantic, it could be platonic, it could be filial. What matters is showing how Hana connects with people!

Homes is also open to interpretation. China and Cordonia are the two places Hana identifies as her homes, but honestly, as the saying often goes - home is where the heart is 🩷🩷🩷

Any and all content is welcome - as long as Hana is the focus of the piece and the depiction of her is positive. We accept any sort of content - fanfic, fanart, edits, moodboards, interactive media, headcanons, screenshots, playlists, meta, headcanons... even screenshots of your favourite scenes! We also accept older pieces (in our Throwback theme) and WIPs. In case you need to look up more themes, here is the main post!

It's the final (official) day of Hana Lee Appreciation Week!! It's been amazing to see all the art, the writing, the headcanons...we loved every single entry that made its way to this blog and can't wait for what we'll see on this final day!

Day 7 has two themes: "What If...?" and "Duchess Hana". "What if...?" is all about AUs. It's about exploring Hana in different universes, different possibilities, different trajectories. You can think of what Hana may have done if she didn't come back to Cordonia, or what Hana in a crime AU would turn out like! Anything goes!

"Duchess Hana" is about giving to Hana the power that she deserves, and that she doesn't always get in canon. You can envision Hana as a Duchess either through marriage, or through heading a duchy of her own. Think about the place she runs, what her plans are, how she uses her power, how she makes a difference.

As always, the theme is just a starting point for your ideas, and you don't need to churn out specific content only on specific days. You can still send content on another day as long as you tag which day you made it for (eg. #hlaw day 6, #hlaw day 7 etc).

We are moving towards the last two days of HLAW now, and the response thus far has been amazing. It's unbelievable how gorgeous all the content we've received thus far is, and we cannot wait to show you our masterlist when this week is done!

Day 6 focuses on something that is connected to Hana both socially, and personally. Flowers! We have already seen her love for flowers in the Conservatory Scene in TRR2, where she shows us how much she loves flowers, and what all of them could mean. But flowers are also associated with Hana through her mother - they are part of her mother's House Crest. So it would be great to explore Hana's relationship with flowers, and what they mean to her!

This is also Throwback Day! This is a day specifically put aside for Hana fans to show (and talk about if they want) content that they have made for Hana in the past. You can reblog the content (art, fic, moodboard, anything!) and if you'd like - give us an insight into your process creating it! In case you're not sure where to start, here is a list that can help you!

As we have mentioned before, the theme is a prompt meant to inspire those who want to write. It doesn't necessarily have to be sent that day itself : you can always create content later on and we will tag you! Just make sure you tag it with the day you intended it for.

Additionally, we will also keep a week's gap for anyone who wants to send additional content but hasn't been able to because of time constraints.

Make sure you do these things while making your posts:

With today our first official Hana Lee Appreciation Week is over, but we are still allowing entries till the 12th! If anyone would still like to send in stuff for HLAW, here are a list of the days! We do want to ensure you are all included in our masterlist, which features more than 30 pieces of incredible art, fiction and thoughts on Hana...so don't hesitate if you have a good idea about her to put out there 💖
