#HOW PEARL IS COMPLEMENTING MARINA!!

How would Acht and Four react if two people were having a Waifu Scrap about them? (Based on a comic of two inklings having a Waifu scrap over Pearl and Marina.)
Oooh I’ve seen that comic before!
Four would think it’s hilarious. They’d also be sort of flattered that someone cares enough to try and defend them, even if it’s  against someone arguing in favor of their partner. They’d probably interrupt and help the person on Acht’s side.
Acht would just roll their eyes, being annoyed that people are arguing about them and Four. But once they see Four actually start to engage with the people having the Waifu Scrap, they would end up joining in as well to help the person arguing in favor of Four.
It would end up being very awkward for the people who started the Waifu Scrap, and Acht and Four would just start having a complement war.
Thank you for the ask!!!

Cringe and free so heres the squid sisters and off the hook designs for if they were part of my worldbuild thing

Callie and Marie are both Sorcerers weirdly tied by destiny and also by being cousins, they are ehh midly powerfull. They complement each other very well by being natural specialist on oposite magic fields. They are singers on the side, and idols in more of the sense that Sorcerers are Always Known. They makes songs reminiscent of pre-apocalypse popular songs, their songs and the songs they are trying to replicate are almost nothing alike lmao so sorry, they improved the genre tho their music is much better
Pearl is a angel-inhabited Conjurer and also Augur but she is like terrible at that lmao. Marina is a mermaid that has gigantism and is terribly at shape shifting, she also has a deep interest in Augury and thats how she and Pearl bond at the start, by talking insane things abt hypothetical beings inside computers. They make music using Oracle archives of pre-apocalypse songs (terrible idea, the oracles are sending them their own songs basically lol)

Color Themes in RAC (2)
In the second chapter, Taeddy wears a green coat, I immediately assumed that it was to represent jealousy, referring to how it’s the first time he ever acts jealous (but apparently the color associated with jealousy is purple ?? I always thought it was green idk why 😭). However when rereading it for the nth time a detail caught my attention, you described it as a “floral green coat” so then I thought of clovers, so maybe luck ? I 100% feel like I’m reaching atp but it would kind of make sense for it to be luck, since they didn’t know they would meet that day. He wears this coat with a button up, which is, unsurprisingly, black (CORRUPTION CORRUPTIOK).
When Mrs. Geraldson is first introduced (Art Gallery) she wears a gold dress. Gold usually represents wealth, lavishness, attention, expensiveness, which are all traits that I think we can safely attribute to this character. She’s older, she’s experienced, she is dressed somewhat flashy.
Angel is none of those things.
At that point, she has seen some of the women Taeddy used to be involved with, she’s seen how different they are from her.
This is why, when Angel wears a black dress (in Geraldson Residence), I thought that it was because she is trying to mirror the other women Taeddy has been with (or simply Taeddy) by trying to appear more mature (hence the black) as it is made clear that Angel’s lack of experience makes her feels insecure, however upon rereading the third chapter, I realized I was wrong.
“...That act spurred on the nickname. You only wear black now. Lesson learned and has yet to be lived down...” (Research and Development). Marina makes of fun Angel for wearing all white and starts calling her Bo-Beep from then on. In result of that altercation, Angel actively tries to distance herself from anything Bo-Beep-like, so white. So Angel does not wear black because she’s trying to change herself to become more like Taeddy’s past flings but because she’s being made fun of by her superior. (In retrospect, it was obvious I’m just dumb like that. I had this idea that Marina and Angel were trying to become more like the other for a short while. But Angel is not going to change herself for a man !!! Love that for her).
“As you draw nearer to him, however, you notice how well your outfits complement each other. Now you begin to wonder if anyone else at the party will notice it too.” IDRK WHAT TO MAKE OF THIS BUT IT FEELS SIGNIFICANT.
“Marina hurries between desks, five inch heels click-clacking her urgency. They’re red. She has red lips too. She never wears red. Her hair is in huge curls, down and flowing over her tight white dress. Pearls sit pretty on her collarbone.” (Research and Development). Her dress white and tight, but doesn’t feel nearly similar to Angel’s dress in Art Gallery, even though hers was somewhat body fitting as well. Why ? My guess is that it’s because she’s got red on. Red symbolizes passion and sexuality. Marina is trying to appear more innocent when in reality she’s not, and it seems to bleed through in her shoes and lipstick. She doesn’t look inexperienced, or even innocent. She’s hot. She’s also got on a pearl necklace... Angel was gifted one by Taeddy chapter 1. What we can conclude from this is that Marina is trying to mirror Angel but still ends up still looking so... Marina-like. Flirty, seductive, not innocent or angelic (not saying all of those things are bad, I’m simply showing how she’s not like Angel and the person Taeddy seems to be into just happens to be Angel).
In the same way Angel ‘cannot’ pull off black, Marina cannot pull off white (in Taeddy’s perspective).
The fact that Marina criticizes the way Angel dresses under the guise of a joke is telling to me (Research and Development). Granted, she might simply be picking at Angel for no reason but I can’t help but think that it might have some deeper meaning to it. White represents innocence, so she’s indirectly rejecting Angel’s innocence. I haven’t really figured out why yet. Angel’s inexperience is one of the many things Taeddy seems to love like about her so this is obvious some form of jealousy on Marina’s part but is there more ? I guess we’ll only know as the story unfolds further.
Another example of Marina borderline copying Angel is in D-D-D-Dim Sum. She wears the pearl necklace again ! It seems, at least to me, that she wears it everytime she knows she’s going to see Taeddy... MMMMH. She’s also got a black skirt and tube top on. She stopped with the white, apparently, is she switching back to what the original Marina would wear or is she mirroring Taeddy this time, as we know that his color is black. Idek 🤷🏾‍♀️.
Your theories about Taehyung's coat are very interesting. I had no idea the colours associated with jealousy are purple. I would love to affirm your suspicions about the coat and colours your first paragraph, but unfortunately, I was just replicating this Taehyung look. I didn't mean for it to be analysed in this way, though I do appreciate it.
However, the rest of your analysis is spot on. You totally picked up on everything I was trying to convey with Mrs (Anna) Geraldson. The way she dresses was meant to reflect her wealth and high standing in high society. This is pretty much the first time Angel is allowed into this world of dinner parties and polo matches. You'll find in chapter ten that she does not come from a very lavish world so the stark differences in class are also highlighted in her juxtaposition with Mrs Geraldson.
Your observations on Angel's attempts on wearing black here are also correct! She was more so trying to emulate a more mature persona, one she has witnessed from Taehyung. Insecure in her inexperience, she was trying to dress as if she had a clue when she really doesn't. Of course, Taehyung finds it all endearing. She also wears darker colours in a professional setting since she was mocked on her first day for wearing all white by one of Taehyung's ex-fuck-buddies, Marina.
However, I don't think she is really trying to change herself to be like his exes. I'm sure a part of her is actually comforted by the fact that she is nothing like them. She just doesn't want to get picked on in a professional setting and lose the respect of her co-workers because her boss has a horrible and child-ish vendetta against her. (Also, you are not at all dumb! Please don't be discouraging; you've been pretty spot on so far!!)
So you mention is line, “As you draw nearer to him, however, you notice how well your outfits complement each other. Now you begin to wonder if anyone else at the party will notice it too" and think it might be significant. It is but I won't say how. It's much more fun when y'all guess lmao
The rest of your analysis about Marina is on the right track. She is trying to be like Angel when she dresses in white and makes this whole show about doing so. In fact, she completely replicates Angel's look at the event in the Art Gallery, where she was first seen as Taehyung's date. The next time we see Marina at an event is at the Geraldsons' for dinner when Angel wears black. So the next time Marina knows she will be seeing Taehyung, she once again replicates Angel's outfit. Marina thinks being Angel, dressing like her, will get Taehyung back. So far, it has not.
There are a few depictions of jealousy in this fic. Marina's is outwardly, erratic and irrational. Angel's is a silent brew, constantly swallowing her pride and pushing through her feelings. Mrs Geraldson's is passive. She seems to want to push pass it out of maturity but cannot help herself from being petty every now and again. I think this distinction is important for where the rest of your observations are headed in this ask.

Meet Jewellery Influencer and GEMOLOGUE Founder Liza Urla
Award-winning blogger, jewellery influencer and IJL 2017 speaker, Liza Urla, has created a thriving media business infused with her eye for style and photography.
Here, the GEMOLOGUE founder explains how she got started and shares her top tips for social media and blogging…
Q. How did you get started in the jewellery industry and why do you think it has held your passion for so long?
GEMOLOGUE stemmed from my obsession with jewellery and it stands for a dialogue about gems . Discovering stunning jewels is GEMOLOGUE’s raison d’etre ! I started the site following my gemmology degree at the GIA in New York back in 2009, and I am now known as the first jewellery influencer in the world.
When I started GEMOLOGUE eight years ago, I could not photograph jewellery because designers were terrified of the internet as it would allow others to copy their designs. So instead, I focused on jewellery street style around me. As more and more fashion designers embraced the internet and blogging to spread awareness about their brand, the jewellery world slowly followed suit.
I became the face of a few American fine jewellery brands and that’s how my career as a blogger began. Last year I was lucky to discover jewellery designers and give jewellery talks across continents, from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South, Central and North America. This year, I plan to visit diamond and gemstone mines as well as to publish my first jewellery book!
Q. How would you describe the aim and ambition behind GEMOLOGUE?
I have a very sharp eye for jewellery and I curate it within fashion and travelling context. My aim is to educate and inspire women and men about jewellery in an entertaining and engaging way. I am also known to have a fresh young approach to it.
I love costume, fine and antique jewellery – it doesn’t matter if it costs £5 or £50 million. I am a bit of a jewellery nomad; I see and find jewellery absolutely everywhere – in a boutique, flea market, art museum, a contemporary art gallery or at a friend’s house. To make a blog popular, you have to be truly passionate about what you are writing about. I breathe jewellery, and I am sure you can tell that from GEMOLOGUE

Q. How do you work with brands and what makes your relationship with brands so unique?
From my experience jewellery brands in the UK employ PR on a monthly basis and expect free coverage from journalists/freelancers (who are paid by magazines) and bloggers (who on the other hand are not paid by any organisation). As a consequence, jewellery brands rarely allocate budget for bloggers. That’s why I work via an agent and my assistant on various collaborations with jewellery brands such as event hosting, talks, takeovers, campaign face, trips, sponsored blog posts and advisory services.
Q. What do you think are the most important things to consider when developing a jewellery blog and what do you think sets yours apart?
I would love to see more quality jewellery bloggers out there with knowledge and expertise. The jewellery blogosphere is a small circle of women and men passionate about jewellery and I love and respect all of them dearly as I know how much work and effort it takes to create a jewellery blog.
The jewellery industry is not transparent and my reputation is key because of the high value of jewellery items. Having an authentic voice and being an opinion maker is very important and fortunately I don’t lack opinions!
I art direct all my shoots so ongoing creativity is an important skill to consider when developing a jewellery blog. I have been taking photos from a young age and I enjoy the process. I am very lucky to work and collaborate with talented professional jewellery photographers. Photo equipment is key for creating a beautiful jewellery blog. I always carry around a professional camera, a smaller digital camera for vlogging, a mini tripod, a macro lens, and an external flash. You would never notice but my hand bag is over 10kg!
Q. What are you personal tastes when it comes to jewellery?
For me jewellery and blogging is an art and I self-express myself in creative ways. I am an absolute pearl lover. You might have seen my viral pearl face at London Fashion Week or 30m of pearls in my hair. I thrive in creativity and I have even been called a performance artist! My inspiration is Marina Abramović.
Q. When it comes to promoting GEMOLOGUE on social media, what is your strategy and what would be your advice to others?
It is important to consider social media strategies for different social media channels – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, Snapchat – and to know how each one of them works. Of course, your website is an extension of your business card, and I drive traffic to mine from my social media channels. I have worked on GEMOLOGUE.com for more than six months developing wireframe, graphic design and functionality. I am a perfectionist and detail oriented.
The other important element is the newsletter that I love creating for jewellery lovers and it is an art in itself.  As you can see the blogging is not as easy as you might have thought!

Q. Lots of brands are beginning to see the value of working with influencers – why do you think brands should consider this approach?
The hard truth is that many jewellery brands in the UK prefer more traditional method s of advertising! And even though the situation is gradually changing and more of them are working with influencers, the approach to media is still somewhat old-fashioned.
Jewellery brands wake up only when their clients start passing away and the younger generation is not enticed via traditional methods of advertising. Then they are lost and frustrated with the digital world they live and work in. People relate to people, the same way consumers relate to influencers who share their interests.
I create quality touch points for brands, inspire consumers, support their choices and influence their purchasing behaviour. GEMOLOGUE is a much deeper personal experience than regular press releases or magazine articles about jewellery, therefore making the content more relatable to GEMOLOGUE followers.
Q. Photography is a big part of your website – do you think brands put enough emphasis on original photography and what would be your top tips?
A picture is worth a thousand words. I seek to create editorial - quality artistic content for jewellery brands I work with in a fashion and travelling context, complemented by creative styling. I don’t publish any third-party content. All jewellery featured on GEMOLOGUE and its social media channels has to be pre-selected and seen by me. I never use product shots.
IJL is #withyou gathering an array of specialist speakers, jewellery influencers and experts for three days of inspiration and learning opportunities. Discover more by delving into our seminar schedule, here.
