For just $25.00 This beautiful Fire King oven glass trivet has many uses. Made from 1948 to 1955 by Anchor Hocking, these plates were used as handled trivets for hot casserole bowls that could be transported on the trivet for serving. Additionally, it was used as a lid to keep food warm. Beautiful warm, custard ivory color. Lovely scalloped shell shaped handles. Excellent vintage condition. The raised lines on the plate simulate 8 pieces of cake. "Fire King Oven Glass" is embossed in the center of the plate. Can have many uses today such as a cupcake display, candle plate, or even put a plant on it! Measurements: Base diameter 8 1/4 in. Fits up to 2-qt Fire-King casserole dishes.
