Saw someone talking about Stumpytail and my hand slipped

BB!Stumptail is a stupid man and he's my son, idiot with a heart of gold. One of Nightstar's supporters who survives Runny's Plague. A true himbo is very hard to kill, of course.

I don't know how long he lives, but I've been toying with the idea he can have a cute background role as one of the heavy lifters in Blackstar's Po3 Bog Project. I just think it's super cute for him to be one of the best diggers in ShadowClan.

Also I didn't mean for his clappies to look like stims but... looks like stims to me. Yellowfang’s family has autism running through it, I might give it to the big lug too. His mom Rowanberry was autistic so it would be super fitting.

i don’t know if you’ve mentioned this already or not, but are you going to change anything with snowkit/swiftpaw and their deaths? and do you have any characters with autism in mind? (i have autism and love to see characters in media have it)

I have mentioned them! Sadly, they will both be dying in a similar way to canon.

Swiftpaw

I think his death is important as a consequence of both Bluestar's cruelty, and also of Longtail's older mindset.

Longtail is an excellent mentor, but he bit into Thistle Law when he was still running with Tigerclaw and Darkstripe. He passed it onto Swiftpaw, who died feeling he needed to do action for action's sake to prove himself worthy of warriorhood.

Swiftpaw is now the oldest son of Tigerclaw! His sister, Lynxkit, died when she was young. His death causes Tigerclaw to demand ThunderClan to hand over his surviving children, claiming they aren't capable of protecting them.

Brightheart's "Dishonor Title" is also changing. "Lostface" was not the name-- surviving big injuries is a sign of strength, not shame. Instead she's called "Swifthound," for following Swiftpaw's plan and getting him killed. This is cruel, of course, and Firestar changes it.

Snowkit

I think his death is also important. This is the incident that makes Bluestar declare war on StarClan, ergo starting that cruelty arc.

His death also massively impacts Brackenfur, who blames himself for not jumping high enough to save him. During the Great Journey, this fuels him to make a miraculous leap and save Marshkit, who is surviving to become a respected warrior of ShadowClan named Marshwing. Marshwing's sister Applefur is a Dark Forest trainee out of jealousy, and Tigerheart was his apprentice.

This is also not the only major deaf character in the story! Dovewing will be going deaf after the loss of her powers. Snowkit however will not be surviving.

Speckletail gets to reckon with his loss before her sendoff, though!

And as for autistic characters, the most noteworthy imo is Yellowfang (good BYE stupid empathy superpower) but I've mentioned a couple others over here!
