OCPL Schedules Events for November, December
Tumblr media
Lunch With Books will be on haitus for one week. There will be no program on Nov. 1. But never fear, we shall return on Nov. 8. See below for the full November through December schedule, including an exciting 2-part People's University mini-series marking the 50th anniversary of the 1972 Apollo 17 mission - the last time humans set foot on the moon (that we know of). Nov. 8, 2022 at Noon:  Evan and Elle with Author Chris Rodell Have you ever loved so hard you'd forgive every sin? Misguided admirers have long declared "Romeo & Juliet" a "timeless" love story. In fact, true timelessness can only be achieved in the places where time itself is off the clock. This is the story of Evan and Elle, a pair of soulmates from ethereal realms where there are nothing but souls. Their story of forbidden love has Shakespearean echoes with one whopper of a logistical catch. Instead of being wooed upon a remote balcony in Italy, Elle is in Heaven while her Romeo is way down in Hell stuck with a really lousy roommate. For their love to flourish, she has to lower Heaven; he must raise Hell. Chris Rodell is a freelance writer of unconventional biographies on Fred Rogers and Arnold Palmer. To learn more about Chris, visit his website at www.chrisrodell.com. FACEBOOK EVENT | LIBRARY CALENDAR Nov. 15, 2022 at Noon:  Memories of Marx Toys with Gary Rider & Roseanna Dakan Keller Founded in August 1919 in New York City by Louis Marx and his brother David, the company’s aim was to “give customers more toy for less money.” They were so successful in this venture, that at one time Marx Toys was the largest toy manufacturer in the world. The Glen Dale facility, in its’ heyday, employed more than 2,000 workers and had multiple buildings in Glen Dale and McMechen. But this story is about the people that made the toys that children around the world loved to have on Christmas morning. Their lives were dedicated to bringing that job and happiness to youngsters that opened those presents on that day and had happiness delivered to their doors. FACEBOOK EVENT | LIBRARY CALENDAR Nov. 22, 2022 at Noon: Dark Hills of Home with Marc Harshman Join us as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our friend Marc Harshman's appointment as Poet Laureate of West Virginia with a reading from his new book, “Dark Hills of Home.” Every poem in the “Dark Hills of Home” had its birth among the foothills and hollows of the western Alleghenies, between the Ohio and Monongahela rivers in the heart of Appalachia--- where the sun rises late and sets early, and the night is never entirely absent. Marc Harshman's “Woman in Red Anorak” won the Blue Lynx Poetry Prize and was published in 2018 by Lynx House Press. His fourteenth children’s book, “Fallingwater: The Building of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Masterpiece,” co-authored with Anna Smucker, was published by Roaring Brook/Macmillan in 2017. He is also co-winner of the 2019 Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award. Poems have been anthologized by Kent State University, the University of Iowa, SPM Publications , University of Georgia, and the University of Arizona. He has been Poet Laureate of West Virginia since 2012. To learn more about Marc, visit his website at marcharshman.com. For my dear and beloved Timpani:
Hi!
I know it's weird, but I wanted to write to you this letter, so I could express my feelings. In my tribe we normally use this medium to publicize important issues that must be addressed. (I don't know if you use it in your world) And what is more important than matters of the heart?
You may think that I am a coward to decide to write to you in this way and not face to face. But the truth is that I don't know if I can tell you this in person; but I also don't want to keep quiet and keep all my feelings inside me, because I want you to know.
I love you.
Yes, these simple words have made a whirl inside my being.
From that moment I saw you, when I woke up in that strange place for me, and when I saw your enormous heart and generosity, from that precise moment I knew that my life would not be the same.
I love you.
With every inch of my soul.
Every time I see you, my heart shines with joy, and when you leave, I am filled with sadness.
Your smile, your eyes, your laugh leaves me frozen, stunned. You, Lady Timpani, are the only person in the universe who has left me like this.
I love you
                       I love you
                                                I love you
And I will repeat it to you as many times as necessary.
Even if your love is unrequited, my feelings for you will never change. And despite everything, I will continue to love you.
Even if you go through the most scorching flames, I'll be there. Even if you are in the deepest part of the abyss, I will be there for you and I will help you.
There are simply no words to explain how I feel about you.
I love you. But that little sentence sums it up.
I loved you, I love you and I will love you forever.
I like you Timpani, and nothing will change that. I'm in love with you, and always will be.
With these words made in ink, I open my heart to you, showing my feelings only for you.
I love you. I love you, and hundreds of thousands of years from now, that fact will not have change
                                                                                                                                      Eternally Yours:
                                                                                                                                                                     Lord Blumiere
For the most beautiful girl in this whole world.

Passwords
(A/N): Because today is the 17 anniversary of spm... Today double chapter! Enjoy =)
In Spm, we find some situations what we need a Password or do something to pass the level. I'll tell you some of them 😉
Tumblr media
In the world 2-1, We need to work for rubees to pay off the debt. In order not to have to work, you must go to the 2nd floor of the level, go to the left, grab the hidden Pixl, and then go up to the last floor, go to 3D and then, pass the rays with the pixl. Then, it will ask you for a password, which is: 41-26-28-16. Then you will have the necessary rubees to settle the debt.
Tumblr media
In 3-4, we need two passwords to go to the rooms that have the keys. In one part, there are two doors, and both have different passwords, in both parts, you have to select true to all the questions it asks you (no matter how ridiculous they are) then they will ask you for the password. The one on the left door is: 2828 and the one on the right is: 2323.
Tumblr media
The evil cubes. In 5-1 After defeat the Muths, are three blocks, right there. They need an especific order "for something interesting to happen". The order is the next, take note: Middle, Right, Left, Left, Right, Middle, Right, Left, Right, Right, Middle, Right, Right, Left, Middle, Middle, Left, Left, Left, Right, Left, Left, Left, Middle, Middle. You're welcome!
Tumblr media
After we meet Dorguy the first, we meet Dorguy the second, and to pass we need to go through a test. The answers to the questions he asks us are the following: 3, 2, Blue, 4, Triangles. That's it.
Tumblr media
For last, in 8-4, before the final confrontation we have to go through a maze. Like the one shown in the picture. In it, there are some arches and to see how we can pass it, we must go to 3D with Mario. The path is this: Arch 2 Right, then Arch 2 Right, Arch 3 Right, Arch 4 Right, and walk to the bottom where there will be a door, this is the first section. Then last Arch Left, Arch 2 Left, Arch 3 Left, go all the way to the door. Next section: Arc 6 Right, Arc 2 Right, last arc right, and the bottom to the door. I hope I have explained.
And I hope this chapter has been helpful to you :)
