why do shaun and lea’s conflict are always like after school specials? they’re always solved by they end and they’re all happy? Final Thoughts: It was a fairly decent episode if you take out the tiny plot holes and they tell us what happened in Hershey. Now Lea and Shaun it was a little cute, but of course it’s not shea without some slightly unnecessary conflict that gets resolved by the end of an episode. Claire opening more to her backstory broke my heart more and plot twist heartless Park has a child. Speaking of park...can he just stop talking for an episode...it’s just makes my eyes roll to another planet. Now off to the character we love to hate REZNICK, this episode actually did some good with finally putting her in her place, but unfortunately she didn’t learn too well from it and started blaming shaun *le sigh* one step forward and two steps back. Final thoughts: This episode was fine for the most part...the anti vax storyline could’ve been done better (the common tgd theme). Now the other storyline was WILD...so many twists in that one, the resolution was nice for the most part. Plus I just wish we had more Glassman and Shaun. Okay. now onto the characters.

Park: wish he was quiet.

Morgan: sheI found was quite likable this episode wish the writers can continue on with this theme

Claire: Amazing once again, literally does it all. Also, honey, you deserve better than Melendez’s BS.

Shaun: He is just too good for this world, too pure. Really got me choked up about how the the world is sad and he just wants it to be better.

Glassman: I still am very into his storyline, just wish we got more of glassman and more interaction with him and shaun, not just time fillers.

Melendez: *a long deep sigh* i wish someone really would put him in his place and let his actions have consequences and not just be glossed over and he’s the good guy in the end. the writers need to get over this theme. 

Allegra: i wish we had more appearances of her, but man did she not come to play.

Andrews: wish he did better in the situation. that’s all i gotta say.

The Shea arguments...and the resolution annoy...bad. all could’ve been avoided. I liked glassman’s scenes a lot. the plot twist with him being the one who had a hand in her death had me shook. anyways I’ll be in the void until next week wondering why everything is so inconsistent, where is Jess, and did Shaun and Maddie know each other. Claire’s friend...i kinda liked her for the most part, but my thoughts changed when i found out she invited Claire’s mom to her graduation. Also it was a bit strange over how much she wanted Claire to be with Dash, but ngl Dash is a good guy. Shaun and Lea didn’t have useless conflict this episode, i found them much likable and WE FINALLY FOUND OUT ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN HERSHEY. Lea...give her a hug she is going through some serious things, glad shaun cheered her up. Lastly, Glassman is losing his memories and i am not ready for this. Also It was interesting to see Andrews in a higher position giving that authority does change a person (which we saw a slight difference). I like that they touched on FGM, wish it was executed better on Lim’s part, but still happy with the out come. R.I.P Paul...you were a real one that was taken too quick. I now stan a pile of trash named Morgan Reznick. ALL THIS SHAIRE HAS ME LIVING. Wish Park’s three lines were better than what the writers gave him. Glassman and Shaun finally speaking about the elephant in the room really moved me. Also Lea needs to get a clue. shaun’s driving skills > Final Thoughts: Parts of this episode didn’t sit well with me. Not a fan of how this episode wanted to all of sudden act like shaun shows no empathy. One. Having trouble with showing emotions ≠ not having empathy. Two. Shaun is highly more empathetic than many other characters on this show Three. this storyline served no purpose for an episode nearing the midseason 2 finale….this is 27th episode. are you running out of ideas? Anyways onto the dude with p*dophilia urges, i got an anonymous ask about how they wouldn’t want the writers to make us sympathize with this, and which they kind of did. I say kind of with the writers reminding us that his urges are bad and how the man is aware of this. However they tricked us with the man being in pain because of all the medication and wanting to be castrated so get rid of the urges. which really makes you ponder on the topic of showing sympathy, but he off’d himself in the end so *kanye shrugs* i got nothing to say. NOW ONTO MY PET PEEVE *clears throat* @ writers stop letting melendez get away with all this BS he has been doing this whole season. I’m getting tired of this continuous theme of him doing these asshole moves that wouldn’t slide in the real world and having them glossed over in the end making him the good guy *eye rolls*. Lastly…Lea/Shaun/Glassman side story *sighs* it was nice for the most part. The interaction I found was quite lovely/enjoyable. Bless Lea’s heart for doing her best to help improve shaun’s driving to where he was more comfortable on the road. However I wasn’t so satisfied kind felt strange/out of place with the main storylines, i still liked it tho. Now, onto thecharacters: Park: shouldn’t be so quick to check if someone has empathy. to quote modern day philosopher Ice Cube “check yo self before you wreck yo self” Morgan: Once again, I actually liked her a lot this episode. Her slowly growing development is really coming through. Really enjoyed her dynamic with Claire and how she actually comforted her after watching the patient commit su*cide. Claire: She was actually good this episode, a few things said took me a bit back, but it’s going along with the empathy theme. Sad she had to witness another s*icide…give her break writers. Shaun: I’m sad they had him question his empathy and weather or not he is a good doctor. When he has went out of his way for so many people. Glassman: Like i have said before I still am very into his storyline, but i wish we had more of him and everyone else interacted with him. It’s like the writers just isolate him to just shaun and lea. Lea: she’s growing on me again, but like i said with Glassman, i feel they’re isolating her character too much and don’t so much. Kinda feels like all her scenes are time fillers. No hate to Lea because I liked her a lot this episode. Lim: Really liked how she stood her ground this episode (BDE galore), but unfortunately it intertwines with a melendez storyline so it fell flat. Melendez: *a long deep sigh* SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT THIS GUY IN HIS PLACE,. I was glad Lim was able to do so, but he seems to be the writers golden child and is all is well for him in the end. Allegra: We need more Allegra. Only saw her for two scenes and that was it. Andrews: Okay, indecisive and has two jobs now…not much to say, but the storyline was decent. Final thoughts: This was a tough episode to get through given i myself suffer with anorexia (for about four years on and off, but please don’t ask me about it. thanks.). Anyways this episode was Okay for the most part. Still feel indifferent about Melendez he can take several seats and a bus home. Anyways I can still hear shaun’s finances crying. Shaun and Lea being roommates...predictable tbh. Claire just needs a hug...and more love than what she’s getting. Morgan was quiet for the most part so i got nothing to say to her. Final thoughts: this episode was okay for the most part. Liked how they touched on the misogyny, but once again wasn’t executed so well. So much unstanning (even though i couldn’t stan most, but you catch my drift?). MORGAN WHEN I THOUGHT YOU GOT BETTER, you got worse. I really am sick of her manipulating shaun, even if it was to keep him undistracted by Lea mess. Which leads me to this...LEA it’s hard to like you anymore. She really doesn’t know space/personal boundaries...or that he can’t answer your calls/texts because he’s a surgical resident. Also she’s now the victim? *deep sighs* ANYWAYS, Glassman...you’re making me emotional, i’m not prepared for what’s to happen the next episode.
