Devastated. Couldn't help but blame himself for making his sentence worse. Freedom is swk's like, core being, he thrives in it. It bleeds into his existence and it suits him.

I think wukong wants the same for the people he cares about. That's what he strives for. So that they can 'do whatever they want.' That's what he promised to them.

To have that dream be crushed and taken from him brought mk much greater grief than it did with swk.
