Intended to be sometime on the Allegiance returning from the events of Empire of Ivory. I imagine Tem is the best maths teacher any of the kids can find on the ship (or at least knows the most). Demane and Sipho are supposed to be learning to read English here. Emily is best student as always. Dyer is trying his best. Allen is not trying at all but has been roped into making sure Temeraire doesn't teach the young, impressionable minds anything too radical.

I'm only one book into the Temeraire series and I'm already impressed by how well the Aerial Corps are taking to Laurence.

If my livelihood revolved around how well I'm taking care of my super powered cat/best friend to the point I was sneered at and derided by society for being a crazy cat lady, and then this guy who's never owned a cat and didn't even liked them, if that guy waltzed in and innocently pointed out I had been inadvertently mistreating my cat (the harness and bath thing) my whole career, especially after hanging out with the local cat-hater asshole, no offense but I would have tried drowning Lawrence at least twice before warming up to him.

What I'm saying is, all HMD is missing is a couple of hazing scenes.

Smaugust, Week 1: From A Book

Don't expect this much effort from me for the entirety of Smaugust, but I was really inspired by the template and have been wanting to do species pages for these guys for a while. (if Mist is reading this THANK YOU!!!) There's also more fake book designs in my Observations on the Order Draconia tag.

I've been meaning to draw an updated Temeraire since forever. You can take him being long and fuzzy out of my cold dead hands.
