Honerva would be both exasperated and helplessly fond (her lovelorn son—both present and future—is,,, so like his father), while Zarkon would be enthusiastically Helpful™ to the very best of his ability!! After all, he was able to woo his lovely wife (the most beautiful and brilliant woman in the galaxy!!) with the utmost success, and so who better to give his boy advice?

This of course means there are plenty of Zarkon-shenanigans, with a healthy dash of Lotor not knowing how to (1.) accept help in this matter or any other (2.) from his father of all people, and Keith being entirely bemused by it all until Honerva just kind of bluntly tells him because good lord her boys mean well, they do, and they're trying //so// hard... but at the rate they're going, their attempts at courtship are going to end up hurting someone.
