Nesta semana, a Prefeitura do Recife começará a retirar os equipamentos médico-hospitalares do sexto dos sete hospitais de campanha a ser desativado.

Manoel Rodrigues Santiago, de 82 anos, foi o último paciente a receber alta do Hospital Provisório Recife 3 (HPR3), localizado na Imbiribeira, que está em processo de desativação desde o início deste mês. A unidade, que foi a última entregue pela Prefeitura do Recife, no dia 05 de maio, registrou a última alta de paciente após quatro meses colaborando no combate à pandemia de covid-19. Nesta segunda-feira (14), a Prefeitura do Recife começou a retirar os equipamentos médico-hospitalares do sexto dos sete hospitais de campanha construídos pela PCR a ser desativado, para em seguida desmontar as estruturas das paredes, teto e pisos.

O paciente, que ficou 14 dias internado no HPR 3, entre UTI e enfermaria, depois de ser socorrido com falta de ar, se disse agradecido por todo atendimento que recebeu no hospital. “Não há palavras para descrever meu sentimento de gratidão. Agradeço ao todo poderoso e a todos que cuidaram de mim com tanto amor”, afirmou Rodrigues, emocionado.

Advanced Peer-to-Peer Networking (APPN) is an extension to the Systems Network Architecture (SNA). APPN was meant to complement IBM's Systems Network Architecture, a legacy from the mainframe era. APPN was originally meant to be a "DECNET killer", but DEC actually died before APPN was completed. APPN has been largely superseded by TCP/IP (Internet). Note that APPN has nothing to do with peer-to-peer file sharing software such as KaZaa or Napster. The designation peer-to-peer in the case of APPN refers to its independence from a central point of control, similar to the way that a FireWire PC connection allows a video camera to talk directly to a disk drive on the FireWire network. APPN evolved to include a more efficient data routing layer which was called High Performance Routing (HPR). HPR was made available across a range of enterprise corporation networking products in the late 1990s, but today is typically used only within IBM's z/OS environments as a replacement for legacy SNA networks. It seems to be still widely used within UDP tunnels, this technology is known as Enterprise Extender. APPN should not be confused with the similarly named APPC (Advanced Program-to-Program Communication).
