Saturday Six (Stuff)

Haven't done one of these in a while. Just been blah lately. Life is just trucking along. No work really. I've been finishing up tax/accounting stuff. (。-ω-)ﾉ

Had a huge fight with Dad (the parents, but mom was mostly trying to mediate, ha) about money and jobs. Boomers obviously have no clue about the job market, especially here. You can't just "network" and get a job. And a lot of employers don't want to hire someone who's had/has their own business. Sigh... I'm sofa king tired of life sometimes. (;*´Д`)ﾉ

Leeloo continues to be a nut, but she's also adorable.o(^・x・^)o

Trying to stay positive in this environment is so hard, especially after this week. And when you're not really a positive person anyway, ugh. Yeah...(⑅ ‘﹃’ )

I really hate that the supportive TV families that I watched growing up messed me up. Because I don't have that.（’-’*)

It's been really rainy here lately. I like it because at least it matches the mood/vibe I've got going on. (︶︹︺)

We had a pretty decent Thanksgiving on Thursday, with only minimal racism from my uncle and my dad. Things are slightly improving.Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)

Leeloo the kitten is getting spayed next month and let me tell you, it can't come soon enough, because that gal is getting a little too horny, and it's a good thing my older boys are neutered already, lol. (=^-ω-^=)

I'm not ready for x-mas. They were playing x-mas music at the grocery store yesterday and I was like, nope.(*｀へ´*)

I'm still peeved about events from last week, but I'm trying to get over them. Idk that it will do anything good to mention my feelings.（’-’*)

I really need work to pick up just a little bit.(´～`)

The not having any money sure helps with the not wanting to go anywhere and do anything. Not that there's much to do here anyway. Also, wheeee, depression. (◍•﹏•)

Saturday Six (Stuff - but on Sunday)

I went to the coast for my Bff's mom's funeral service & memorial. It was not good times.

My Bff's brother seems like a good guy, to everyone else, but a long while back, my brother said some bs to him, and I've been persona non grata, for no good reason, ever since.

I went through so many damned old photos. So many shitty photos lol.

Please, I beg you, have your parents and grandparents LABLE YOUR FAMILY PHOTOS. I went through so many photos of people that my friend had NO IDEA who they were. Just some ancestors.

Also, have your parents and grandparents make wills that clearly designate their final wishes about everything. All their burial wishes, money, and THINGS. Fighting over stuff is so stupid after a death.

Being made to feel like you're not valuable is really shitty. Please don't make your friends and family feel that way. Also, transactional relationships are bullshit.

And seven because - As you can probably tell I had a shite time this week. Please tell those you love, whether they're real or chosen family, that you love them, and mean it.

I'm ready for warmer weather, but not ready to go to the Farmer's Market and do all the people-ing.Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)

What I really want is more rain. ＼(^▽^＠)ノ

I've got baby tomato plants that I started from seeds, and I've got flower seeds & micro-clover to plant!(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧*✲ﾟ*｡⋆♡

We finally got Socks' ashes. Nobody called to tell us he was ready in March.(*｀へ´*)

Going for a drive to look at another customer project on Monday, and I'm putting up flyers along the way back up. I've gotten a bit of work from flyers before, so hopefully it'll work again. (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑

Oopsie, forgot to post last week, because I was busy with work. But I'm taking every other weekend off for self care, even though I've got so much to do still. Here's what I'm working on. (•̀⌄•́)

My therapist says I'm making improvements. Meh, idk about that. I think it's more I'm just tired of reacting to my dad all the time. Though I'm still bloody angry as hell that it's up to me to do all the work to change.( •̀ω•́ )σ

It's only been two weeks and I'm sick of this snow and freezing cold. Mother Nature didn't even ease us into it, like usual. It just came out of nowhere.(*｀へ´*)

Even though I'm still hurting, I'm grateful to have a great physical therapist who really is trying to help me.(❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

I'm really grateful to have returning customers who are willing to give me another opportunity to work with them, even if I might have made a mistake (it's been a few years since I made a lady's item, and she's just now coming back to me, to have me fix it, oopsie! She's a sweetheart!)（*´▽｀*）

My adopted orange boy, Boots, is really becoming the lover kitteh. He loves the pets and rubs, though he still has some feral issues to work out. (=^-ω-^=)

Oopsie, I almost forgot to post my fic recs wrap up today. Good thing I got up early enough to bang them out really quickly. Derp.(•̀⌄•́)

The Dude, @super-ultra-mega-kami-guru-blog, and I are supposed to put up our patio today. Much excite.“ψ(｀∇´)ψ

I can't wait until I have money for flowers! My patio will look a little bare until the plants are in.♡(•ི̛ᴗ•̛)ྀ

Boots was a bad kitty and slipped outside when I let Reggie out yesterday morning. It was almost a crisis. He decided to come back in quickly on his own, but he was having none of me trying to call him or pick him up. Ughhhh. Silly guy. I had to give him a stern talking to, which he ignored in favor of getting pets. (^・ω・^ )

We took a drive down south, and got started putting up flyers around the surrounding towns. Hopefully it works to bring in some business. (。-ω-)ﾉ

I'm not really ready for these hot, summertime temperatures we're supposed to get this week. But we got the air conditioner up and running. （’-’*)

Honestly, moving is THE WORST. 0/10 do not recommend. The past few weeks have consisted of the Dude and I helping my parents move. Thank goodness it's mostly done, but for some tools my dad still has in the garage.Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)

All I have to do with the move thing now is finish setting up my workspace in a cold, windowless garage. But, I'll be alone when I work! No dad hovering all day!(•̀⌄•́)

We have to get Socks back to the vet, because his kitteh cold/sneezey/snotty thing is back again. Ugh. Poor old man. He's been super grumpy lately too, probably because of that. (^・ω・^ )

I got a big restaurant booth recover job, thanks to a referral from the last one like that that I did a few years ago.٩(•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑)ᵒᵏᵎᵎᵎᵎ

Cannot wait for Spring to spring and wash all the ugly brown snow and dead crap away.(❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

Getting woken up after only 2 hours of sleep, and not being able to really go back to sleep, is not cool. Guess I'm living on caffeine today.(¬д¬。)

That moment when someone you know gets a personal pleasure item stuck up their butt. Nope, not me, and has to have it pulled out by a surgeon. Good times.(⑅ ‘﹃’ )

I ordered orthopedic shoes and now I feel about 75 years old. At least two pairs look cute.ヾ(*´ー`)ノ

My therapist keeps asking me if I'm going to get another cat. I keep thinking two is enough, for now. (=^-ω-^=)

We had a lovely day of rain yesterday, even though my plant hook that was out in the grass fell over, due to the wet. I can't wait to be able to get some plants outside!(❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

My birthday this past Tuesday was a very chill day. We had a nice lunch. Even if my dad did leave the door open when he used the restaurant's bathroom. (ὀ⌓ὀ⑅)

Happy Spoopy weekend, y'all! I'll be with you in spirit, if not actually partaking. I'm not a fan of spoopy movies or anything like that. I may watch The Wizard of Oz, or something like that though, which I remember watching every year growing up.(˼●̙̂ ̟ ̟̎ ̟ ̘●̂˻)

We took our patio and plants down today. Always a bummer to do, because that means it's almost winter. Boooo・゜・(ノД`)

The garage at the new house (my parent's) could be really nice for me to work in, if it's done right. Problem is, I don't think I'll get my way.(¬д¬。)

When you've been conditioned to be negative for your whole life, change is really hard. Idk how to just turn on positivity like a switch.(。-ω-)ﾉ

My back is very very upset still. The pain is now in my hips. Ugh. This is so not cool.(*｀へ´*)

The trip to the coast last week was not the best, but it was good to see my friend, and a bit of the ocean, if nothing else. And at least, in the end, my sewing machine got fixed. And the passes were pretty clear for driving. A few positives anyway.♡(•ི̛ᴗ•̛)ྀ

My cat Socks is really sick. I can't handle losing another pet so soon after losing KittyMeow in November.（ﾉ´д｀）

The garage I'll be working in is basically all set up and organized. It needs a little fine tuning, but we're ready to go. Good thing, since Monday we start working on booths for another restaurant here in town.೭੧(❛〜❛✿)੭೨

I haven't really worked on my therapy homework like I should have. At least, not consciously. Challenging negative thoughts really doesn't come easy to me.(~_~;)

I can't believe we've had snow now for 5 months in a row. Wtffffff. If y'all don't believe climate change is real then I've got some bridges to sell you. (.﹒︣︿﹒︣.)

Meanwhile, Boots the Kitteh is getting more comfortable, and talkative. I got two whole meows this morning! That's amazing for my shy, ex-feral boy!₍˄ุ.͡˳̫.˄ุ₎ฅ˒˒

The 'World Famous Omak Stampede' parade is happening outside my front door this morning.<(￣ ﹌ ￣)>

Finally finished a project that took me too long. It was really finicky, and had more to it than I anticipated. But also, I think I just might be really tired of working. Idk.(´～`)

I'm hoping I hear from the behavioral clinic about therapy soon, because I think I really need to talk to someone.(。-ω-)ﾉ

We're having to do a ton of things for the parent's this weekend, and I have to meet a customer this evening as well, which, ugh. But at least it means money.(ﾉ´ｰ`)ﾉ

Reggie (Regulus Arcturus Black Kitteh) is starting to get the other two boy kittehs to play with him and it's really adorable. (=^-ω-^=)

While I was sitting outside watching the parade there was a little hummer birb who is apparently very hongry as it's been back to visit a few times today. ˏ₍•ɞ•₎ˎ❁✲ﾟ*

Saturday Six (Stuff - but on a late Sunday afternoon, oopsie)

This week has been terrible for our air quality. The smoke is so heavy from all the fires. It's awful that most of Canada is on fire, and there's still a fire 36 miles north of us. ・゜・(ノД`)

The market on Thursday was hot, windy, and smoky. But, I got to hold two kittens.✩⃛( ͒ ु•·̫• ू ͒)

There was an older kitten running around the Saturday market, but otherwise it was fairly uneventful too.(=^･^=)

Mom has given me permission to get a kitten if I want (not that I need it), even though the Dude @super-ultra-mega-kami-guru-blog says "No!" every time I bring it up.V(=^･ω･^=)v

Work is going well. One smaller project and a larger one in the works. ٩(•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑)ᵒᵏᵎᵎᵎᵎ

Saturday Six (Stuff)

Stuff from Thursday's farmer's market - bunnies in the grass thoroughfare, a person in just swim trunks - oh - and sunglasses, a sheriff's deputy, a kid who screamed like a bird while running laps around the whole market (he got a swat and a time out) , and three very large, free cucumbers (from a booth that has never spoken to me), and a free (stinky) cantaloupe. It was also pretty smoky, that close to the 16k+acre fire. (n˘v˘•)¬

Stuff from today's market - I got to the market by 815am, and they had given my *reserved* spot away. And OK yeah, there are a lot of new people, buuuuut, I should have priority because I'm reserved. And they're not supposed to give spots away until 8:30.Ughhhhh. Anyway, the market manager said she'd pay for me today because she made the mistake. Which is nice. Though Idk if it was really her. She's supposed to have a map with all the vendors spots. It could have been the head board member.(ᅌᴗᅌ* )

In other news, our sink in the kitchen is leaking and our landlord isn't coming until maybe tomorrow.(๑•॒̀ ູ॒•́๑)

I got a boo boo! I just got home from the Farmer's market Thursday night, getting stuff cleaned up, and my foot slid out on the floor, and I bit it on my right side. Good thing the padding on my hip only got some bruises, and my right elbow is only slightly dinged. And somehow my left pointer finger has floor(road) rash. Oh, and somehow I banged my knee, and wrenched my shoulder too.( ；´Д｀)

My brother and his wife were in town. That was fine, except for the fact that the dinner with them was made more irritating by dad not listening (or wearing hearing aids) and us getting into a bitching match. It happens.(~_~;)

On a happy note, I got a deposit for another project today. （*´▽｀*）

Interesting things from the Farmer's Markets this week: Thursday - it was around 104°F (40°C), and sadly I was downwind from the port-a-potty. So gross. I also sold a tote bag! Much excite! I also got an appointment with a customer to look at making something for a VW Bug. Saturday Market - I got another customer appointment, and a customer purchased material from me. Also there was a lot of drama gossip about other vendors (very normal, lol). And as usual, so many people with dogs when they're not supposed to have dogs there (because people and poo don't mix). Not as interesting as the last time. No chickens or kittens.(•̀⌄•́)

I saw on a local "what's happening" FB page that Jack Black was visiting (his parents are near here) and I'm bummed he didn't stop at the market. But maybe that's not his scene.(。-ω-)ﾉ

It seems like the high temps may be leveling off up here soon, which will be nice. I'm so over 100+ weather.（’-’*)

I wonder if people here are upset about the small theater not showing Barbie & Oppenheimer. I don't really care, because I'm not going out to the cinema anyway. I haven't been out (except for a few times) since 2020.ヾ(*´ー`)ノ

I like having the money that having work brings, but I don't like being that busy. It's a conundrum.ヾ(´A｀)ノﾟ

Boots has been doing this deal where he sulks/hides under the bed for long periods of the day. Idk if it's a "just hiding in my safe fort" thing. Or if it's a "y'all are being noisy and annoying" thing. Cats are weird. But I still love them. (=^-ω-^=)

Our rescued old boy Socks crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday. He was a great cat. I keep telling myself I did the best I could for him. It's still hard though. Diabetes is terrible for animals. (=;ェ;=)

my uncle needs good vibes today, since his trailer (like travel trailer, aka caravan, he lives in) burnt down, due to an electrical fire last night. He's OK, but he's lost everything, and I'm unsure if he found his elderly, little weiner dog.U ´꓃ ` U

The upholstery job for the restaurant we're doing is looking great. Even some customers said so.“ψ(｀∇´)ψ

I am so ready for my patio and outdoor plants. I want it to be warm enough now.(❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

Tension migraines are annoying. My medication for them don't allow me to sleep and I already have sleep issues.( p′︵‵。)
