in my head there r like three different types of edits 1. cas edits (self explanatory) 2. "lighting flex" edits where its me just playing with light and angle and isnt very meaningful (the old genshin character edits would be an example of this) but 3. "narrative edits" which are my favourite usually more elaborate set pieces not always character focused, with dedicated themes and very calculated choices behind what is being presented. most of the dgwicf/among us/violent affairs edits r in this vein
