With the coming of Spooktober (i’m sooo excited), I reread Scar Tissue, and if I may ask, how do you think Atsumu’s ruts are? I want him to force me to have his babies so bad why lie 😂 Also,, would you think he would be more intense during his ruts or reader’s heats 🫣

atsumu's horny at the best of times, when he's in a rut that kicks into overdrive. i wouldn't say it's the only thing he's concerned with, as he's still gotta eat and make sure the reader's in good enough condition to properly breed, but mostly he's consumed with the need to stick his dick inside of her and knock her the hell up. preferably with a whole litter.

he can feel the onset days before it actually hits, plenty of time for him to get his mate off somewhere secluded, somewhere safe – somewhere they won't be interrupted (and god help the poor soul that does – werewolves tend to be territorial).

i will say that he has the least amount of control over himself during his rut. it's not uncommon to shift mid-way through :))

as for the last question, it's a different kind of intensity. when he's in his rut he's not fully himself, much less in control. he reverts to base instincts; he won't stop, or slow down and it can get... kind of violent. nothing matters but having his mate knotted and bred.

the reader's heat on the other hand, he's gonna enjoy that. having her at his mercy, begging to be fucked and filled. he can be mean with it, too. he's still an animal, but at least he's got some semblance of cognizance.
