Jennipuff Art FAQ
Q. Do you make your own emotes/badges/graphics?
A. Yes I sure do! Making emotes and graphics is one of my most favorite things to do. I prefer it to actually streaming. ;P
Q. Whatās your day job?
A. I design and print graphic tees! Itās fun when printing personal items but when youāre printing for angry company people itās pretty eeehh. :D Overall Iām grateful for my job and the things Iāve learned there.
Q. How long have you been drawing?
A. I started drawing when I was extremely young. When I was about 11-13 years old I picked up Adobe Photoshop Elements 1.0 (released 2001) and I began teaching myself to color digitally using a mouse. I got my first tablet when I was about 17-18 years old and have been using a wired tablet ever since. Next step: display tablet! Maybe.
Q. What are your other hobbies/things you like to do besides art and shirts?
A. Business, sales, cooking, baking, singing/playing instruments, traveling, voice acting, crafts, giving gifts, money management, collecting things, organization/planning/event coordinating, and low-key legal stuff.
Q. What kind of video games do you like?
A. Genres I love: puzzle, survival, RPG, MMORPG, and farming simulation the most. Check out my Steam to see my most played games. I also play a lot of Nintendo games.
Q. Favorite music?
A. All Jazz music is my top genre of choice, but I also am really into Vaporwave, Retrowave, Synthwave, Lo-Fi Chillhop, Tropical House, EDM, Chiptune, and Baroque.
Q. Where did you learn to do art?
A. Iām actually self-taught in drawing/digital painting and I didnāt take any art classes until late in college. But the art classes I took were figure drawing, oil painting, etc. Traditional mediums, which I donāt really use.
Q. Love life?
A. Itās too difficult to explain right now. Overall I think I have a healthy albeit unconventional love life situation, but currently the door to my heart is tightly shut.
Q. Do you sell art at conventions?
A. Thatās the plan! Iāll let you know which ones Iām going to and when and what Iāll be selling. We can even go over merch stuff on stream! Itāll be fun. :)
Q. Where do you really want to go on vacation?
A. I really really really want to go to Antarctica for vacation! <3 It sounds like itāll be fun and cold, which is great because my body is naturally sooooo warm. š I also want to live in Washington state at some point in my life.
Q. What is the weird glove you use on your right hand?
A. The weird glove is a Huion glove, it covers my ring and pinkie finger and half of my hand. Itās meant for people with a display tablet so their hand doesnāt smudge or sweat on the screen but Iāve noticed my hand sweats quite a bit when I get āin the zoneā so I use it for my regular tablet (that is not a display tablet) to help my hand glide better while Iām drawing. It has actually been super helpful! One of the best $7 Iāve ever spent.
Q. I donāt understand how you pick your colors?
A. I [steal] gather palettes from online, and then from there I just wouldnāt be able to tell you. I kind of just do what feels right, and sometimes I have to make adjustments but everything comes out in the end! To mix colors on photoshop I take a base color and then put colors at low opacity over it. Seems to work well! Keep in mind color theory plays a big part of my artwork and itās a lot to explain. I can do a class on it sometime~
Q. Ok do you have a Jigglypuff shrine or something?
A. Yeeeeeesssssss I sure doooooo. Image coming soon.
Q. How do you get all your software? Isnāt it expensive?
A. Like the only really expensive one is Adobe CC Suite, which is ~$52/month or ~$20/month for just PS but if you want more programs get ready for $52/month :\ The other software I just get on sale i.e. Clip Studio Paint has a sale around Xmas and the full version goes on sale for $87, Steam Summer Sale for Marmoset Hexels/Spriter Pro/Aseprite and all of those are 1 time payments and you have it forever.
Q. So you also do NSFW art?
A. Yes! But not on Twitch!
