Last Saw post of the night but I’m actually still mad about what they did to Hoffman’s character/retcons they made to it via those flashback scenes with Gibson in Saw VII.

I’m meant to believe that Mark Hoffman, the man who craved revenge against his sister’s killer so badly that it became his sole focus/reason to live, yet still turned away when the man actually died, decided to shoot an unarmed homeless man multiple times without flinching or showing any remorse in the action? And that this same murder happened BEFORE the Seth Baxter stuff? Make it make sense please

#none of the Gibson stuff is canon to me. he can exist in the saw canon but this previous experience with Hoffman does not make sense #they already had reasons to have beef! the whole thing from saw iv with Hoffman lying to protect Rigg and cover up that misconduct!#expand on that more and maybe bring up another old case with similar cover ups! they didn’t need to kill Hoffman’s character building #I can excuse Hoffman just becoming a killing machine in Saw 3D (even if it’s pretty goofy and hate we don’t get more to his character)#but I cannot excuse trying to say that he’s always been like that #mark Hoffman #saw #saw franchise #saw series #sawposting
