Symmetra Ships: Disney Aus

Some ppl are tryin to hijack my Symmccree Rapunzel au with other characters, and nah son stop. So instead, I’m making other Disney aus for some Symmetra ships.

Symmccree: Rapunzel is the one I originally did. Symmetra being the sheltered, isolated girl hidden away in Vishkar’s towers with Sanjay being her Mother Gothel. Her Flynn Rider is Mccree, an ex-gang member who’s a fugitive on the run. He only seems interested in an unusual pink cube, but she refuses to give it back until he takes her to see the outside world. Alternative: Zootopia

Symmphony: Aladdin! Lucio being in the slums of Rio is perfect to take on the role as Aladdin and Symmetra is his Jasmine. He can help open Symmetra’s eyes to the world around her and slowly start to fall in love. Honestly, this is one of my fave ships to begin with so I really like this one.

Symmeitra: Bh6 with Symmetra as Gogo and Mei as Honey Lemon. I dont think about this ship a lot, but of them are extremely smart and would definitely work well together, so what better au than this one? A full cast would probably be Dva, Genji, Junkrat, Lucio with Reaper being Professor Callaghan. I do like Gogo and Honey Lemon together, so this is mildly indulgent......

Symbra: Sorry but Sombra is Hans! A manipulative and ambitious person like her doesn’t really seem interested in romance, especially when she wants to keep moving to the next big lead. This would reflect in her using Symmetra (Anna or Elsa would work) to try and slink her way into getting a better grip on Vishkar for her own personal benefit. Some ppl ship Helsa tho, so I guess it can be romance-y but ye

Symmzarya: Hercules seems the best fit! Symmetra’s personality places her in Megara’s role, a sassy woman with an unfortunate employer. Zarya as Hercules would essentially be taking pieces of her backstory of becoming the strongest woman in the world! (ง'̀-'́)ง

Symmhanzo: Mulan is perfect for them. Symmetra mentions that people see her differently, which is similar to how Mulan is in her story. Hanzo and Shang are both reserved and curt, 

Symmgenji: I can see this one being more of a Princess and the Frog type of story if we use Young Genji as a base for it. He’s got Naveen’s playboy and mischievous nature, and Symmetra is a hardworking, persistent woman who has little time for play. Their personalities would clash at first, but as time went on, they would reach a fairy tale ending like the movie. Alternative: The Emperor’s New School (Not a movie but Malina wasnt in New Groove)

Symmreaper: Beauty and the Beast! Symmetra is a studious, well rounded woman, who doesnt quite interact with other people as much, so Belle works well enough for this. Reaper’s transformation and anguish makes him the role of the Beast, but even though he wouldn’t turn back (or he could if this au is true to the movie), Symmetra would love him regardless.

Symmrat: Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland would work for them. Junkrat’s whacky personality and Symmetra’s calm, levelheadednesses makes them the Mad Hatter and Alice respectively. Symmetra losing her “muchness” and spending an adventure trying to regain it makes sense with her character. 

Symmpharah: This one was hard, but I guess the Little Mermaid. Symmetra being Ariel and wanting to be on land, especially after seeing Pharah. Despite her overbearing peers at Vishkar, one day, she runs away to become a human and meeting the love of her life on land.
